Am 100% certain they'll notice the rush in orders and will investigate, cancelling all orders as it is a genuine mistake that they DO NOT have to honour. They will not take an increased price automatically though, either.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 24/08/2010 20:02

Hmmmmm, I've not received a confirmation email from Mothercare yet ..................

TheBountyMuncher · 24/08/2010 20:03

Thankyou!
Hoping it is honoured (it does say 92% off underneath)
I've ordered one for DS to put in the car that I can not drive yet, as I am still learning. Will be all ready for him when I can though! Grin

CheeseandGherkins · 24/08/2010 20:04

Wow, ordered one too. Hope they honour it!

CakeandFineWine · 24/08/2010 20:04

WOW what a bargain bagged one for DD2, and one for nephew due any day!!

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 24/08/2010 20:04

I've received a confirmation email

IMoveTheStars · 24/08/2010 20:05

Sparkle - when a company I worked for accidentally advertised a phone for £14 instead of £140 they honoured all orders Shock so there is hope :)

and I've just had a confirmation email Grin

ASecretLemonadeDrinker · 24/08/2010 20:05

eeeeeh, it's going to cancelled I bet... but surely they have to honour it?

Ordered 2 (do need them). Don't particularly like it but can't say no at that price - if correct!

Lionstar · 24/08/2010 20:06

Good spot, and I have ordered as we need a stage 2 seat. But DP and I are laying bets it won't be honoured as it HAS to be a mistake. Have got a confirmation email though.

DrNortherner · 24/08/2010 20:06

They do have to honour it. I work in Marketing for a hotel group and someone cocked up made an error and put a hotel rate in far to cheap and we lost £££££££. Our error, we had to run with it.

Screen shot is a good idea.

Got my confirmation emails...

Just had a confirmation email here. Fingers crossed

OhBuggerandArse · 24/08/2010 20:08

Ordered, and got confirmation... Anyone want to talk a non-techie through the process of saving a screen shot?

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 24/08/2010 20:08

How do you do a screen shot?

I remember doing them at work but can't remember how to do it. Thanks

ASecretLemonadeDrinker · 24/08/2010 20:08

this happened with a playhouse or something a while back, didn't it?

CheeseandGherkins · 24/08/2010 20:09

Control + s screenshots it for me.

LauraNorder · 24/08/2010 20:09

I remember reading about this thebutterflyeffect (and others are right, once they have responded with a confirmation email the contract is in place and they have to honour it.

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 24/08/2010 20:10

I thought that shops were not legally obligated to sell you anything - so if they did misprice something they didn't actually have to sell it to you? They could go down the 'goodwill' route if they chose to (are you listening Mothercare???), but they didn't legally have to.

Someone tell me I'm defintely wrong here please.

notnearlyasblondasiwas · 24/08/2010 20:10

I just ordered one too - will be going in the loft for a while tho! DD is only 11 months - fingers crossed!

SoupDragon · 24/08/2010 20:10

Pressing the PRT SCRN button takes a screenshot. You can then paste it into a document somewhere.

insertexpletive · 24/08/2010 20:10

Mmmmm - I have ordered one as we had planned to get a new seat for ds before the start of school!

Did a quick check on the Which site to see how they rate it and it comes out as one of their Best Buys

Will wait to see if it is honoured....
