Likely ovarian. Terrified. Anyone available for a hand hold?

Blood test yesterday: Serum CA 125 level over 35 indicates possible cancer. Mine is 213. Shit.

DH knows and one friend but I don't want to worry anyone else until I know how bad it is; hence I've name changed for this post. I'd love to know how anyone else has coped / is coping.

CT scan Saturday and USS on Monday. GP has made 2ww gynae referral today.

Oh the frustration of all this waiting! - I really feel for you.....

@Ohjoyohbliss solidarity with playing the waiting game. My scan results will be shared next Tuesday. To say I’m terrified is an absolute understatement!

I'm trying to stay positive - I've just bought some new summer pumps in the Rocket Dog sale, on the assumption that I am going to be alive and well enough to wear them by the time summer comes round.

Hospital appointments guy just rang to tell me my appointment for the 9th has been cancelled (which I knew) and the earliest one he's got is the 22nd. I said that's no good, it needs to be 16th as I might need urgent treatment if the cancer is still active. He'll look at whether someone else can be moved and call me back. I wasn't going to just meekly accept almost another week's delay.

@Ohjoyohblissgood for you. The staff in appointments don’t appreciate the importance of these results ( well maybe they do and have to fit people in where they can) The 22nd is way too long a wait!

Amazingly enough they have been able to squeeze me in on the 16th after all. So still a week's delay, but no more.
