In a&e just told I have a brain tumour

Just that really. It's 2cm ish on ct scan symptoms for 5 weeks. I can't stop crying. I just sent dh home as kids are at home.

Please know I’m only saying this because I’ve had experience of my close friend … she had a stroke … turns out it wasn’t and was vaised by blockages etc and she had a very larhe and fast growing brain tumour. She had surgery very recently and was home two days later … she waited two weeks for the results and they’d got it all.. she is waiting to see if she needs a very small round of chemo or not … she washed her hair grout days after the op… please, please do not for a minute think I’m making light of what you are going through or suggesting it is or it all be the same … I just wanted to tell you my current experience with someone going through it and to send you love l.

No words really, but I hope it's the best news possible for you today.

I am so sorry you are going through this.

They said they need to do a biopsy. I will get an appointment to see neurologist for that. They are going to slowly reduce the steroids I'm on but I'm They said I can go home and wait. I'm still panicking about it being in right front.
They are sorting my tablets out now and dh has just gone home to phone my parents and get the car. Ds is at a friends house till later.

I'm so glad you're going home. What's your work situation like? Will you get paid sick leave?

Lots of rest, some nice food if you can face it, movie binge or boxset binge, cosy blanket, nice relaxing baths, anything to try and take your mind off even for a little while at a time. Let yourself be looked after and supported. I'm wishing for some positive news for you about it all.

Thanks. I run a small business Plus one day a week bank contract. Might get stat sick through that. My dad's already put money in our account though and both mum and dad are in position to help financially, and I'm sure they will do.
Dh is self employed too!
