Results take a while - best of luck for some positives.

Peridot1 · 27/09/2024 15:21

I’m sure you will feel much better to be at home. At least you will get some sleep and rest!

LoveInAWildTime · 27/09/2024 15:29

Sending lots of hugs and support. 💐💐💐💐💐💐

UpUpUpU · 27/09/2024 16:14

Hugs to you OP. I hope you are home and comfortable with your family very soon and that results don’t take too long to come back 💐

Emelene · 27/09/2024 16:24

Thinking of you OP. Maybe write down your questions in advance just so you know what you want to ask when you get results? Will you have someone with you? I hope you get some rest and lots of TLC when you get to go home xxx

BirthdayRainbow · 27/09/2024 16:59

I a, glad that the doctors have all been lovely. I hope you don't have to wait too long for the results.

winter8090 · 27/09/2024 17:55

Thinking of you and praying for good news 💐

BanksysSprayCan · 27/09/2024 18:19

Waiting is challenging. If you’re able to do something gentle to distract yourself that will help.

Wells37 · 27/09/2024 20:00

My best friends been here since my husband left. Really cheered me up we went for a walk and she bought me a big flask of nice coffee and tea from m&s.
They said dr won't be able to talk to me till the morning. So going to take anything they will give me to knock me out.
Dh told the kids, the eldest kept texting me with questions. They were upset but are now watching tv together.

You're doing great, OP. Some great advice I had in hospital was 'if you can't sleep, rest'.

ZuzuMyLittleGingersnap · 27/09/2024 20:03

Goodness, @Wells37, that's a lot of procedures to undergo. No wonder you're feeling drained. Rest as well as you can, go easy on yourself. x

Beach11 · 27/09/2024 20:22

Hope you sleep tonight 💐

Itsallinyourhead2022 · 27/09/2024 20:28

Hi OP,

I was in your position two years ago almost to the day and was also told after a CT scan in A&E. Feel free to DM me if you would like to talk about it. I had to have surgery, radiation and a year of oral chemo and have regular MRIs all of which have been clear since the surgery. My username reflects where I was at the time.

Thinking of you, I know the shock all too well xx

StrongandNorthern · 28/09/2024 00:03

Just wanted to say ... it's terrifying ...
But I was terrified too (32 years ago ... I know, because my youngest was 1 at the time).
I had a very dodgy prognosis, AND an amazing consultant ... and, somehow, I'm still here ... so ... ....
Hugs, really ... Just Hugs ... it CAN be alright xxx

Wells37 · 28/09/2024 00:15

I can't stop crying reading about frontal lobe cancer. It's an awful prognosis. They have give me something to calm down but I keep thinking I'm going to die

AutumnTimeForCosy24 · 28/09/2024 01:09

Stay off Dr Google, he's a charlatan!! We'd all be in a box according to him!!

I hope you're asleep now!!

Hoping for the best possible results soon!!

SodaFountainMountain · 28/09/2024 02:05

❤️❤️❤️ That’s really hard. You are doing great. Let the tears out, your feelings are normal and to be expected. Ask all the questions you need. Keep dehydrated and eat regularly even if it’s just a little. Keep breathing. Sending you hugs.

Sammy900 · 28/09/2024 02:35

Will you have a Neuro - Oncology meeting soon to decide on the stage and treatment options. What are your symptoms? It must be very shocking to find that out in A +E, hopefully they can help you soon

Wells37 · 28/09/2024 05:55

Symptoms are 6 arm spasms or 5 weeks which the said were seizures and increased clumsiness. My left arm is has bee weak over around 3 weeks and I keep wacking it on everything.
