The nights are getting lighter, so surely it's about time to start seeing what stuff is new and essential this year! Have the bunting and fairy and fairy lights ;o) so what do I need this year?!

That snack stand is utterly hilarious!

I can see how it would fit in on some campsites though...

Gah! Don't tell me how much, I don't want to know! [fingers in ears]

Not much cheaper, but anything cheaper than the shows lets DH feel he has a bargain. It also helps that he wanted to BBQ on Sunday, and I said, OK if you are happy to wait a few hours for your food. That video shows he could have his steak in about 15 mins! Sold!

So now what else can I find at the shows.......

Dd2 and I had a great day at the motorhome show in P'boro - didn't buy any gadgets, only some jumpers! Dd2 left saying, 'we need a campervan to go camping - I don't like the tent any more'.

Glad you enjoyed it.

We have just bought a fab set of nesting Tefal Ingenio saucepans and lids for the van, They are seriously better quality than the ones in my kitchen!

I love things that nest. Or collapse.

I pondered those pans in France on holiday a couple of years ago milliway. They seemed very good quality.

They are, I am very impressed - and they are cheaper in France too as only on Amazon or ebay over here (we phoned Tefal to ask!)

Just to say we have an inflatable sofa bed, is amazingly thick as a bed and good sofa too

I nest, and collapse.

More collapsing than nesting, probably.

I'm collapsed right now.

Absolutely roaring with laughter re. the pants!! Might wake DD up, shhhh.

Should really be out enjoying the BH sunshine, but instead I am here coveting a biostove, tsk

Also, am seriously considering a she-wee, I bet it feels majestic to piss like a racehorse!

I got a 'jetboil zip' from my Sil this week. (Birthday pressie)

I wasn't even aware of them before I unwrapped it - but now I have one of course it's fantastic ! [ wink ]

Tried it out in the garden, had a steaming cuppa really quick and it's so small and light.

I also really like the snack stand .....

Considering some short legs for my cadac, then I have the option of sticking it on the table rather than its legs ( would then loose the condiment tray and big legs from the pack size ) .

I got a wind-up lantern recently, has LEDs and a battery that you charge up by winding the handle. Looks like great idea but haven't used it in RL yet.

We went to Decathlon yesterday to get a new SIM for DD as she is too big for her little inflatable bed now and it was torture resisting all the lovely new camping gear. We did get a couple of pop up lights that seem quite useful but I was dragged away from everything else. Sad My favourite bit of camping kit is still my Storm Kettle, its much quicker than the stove for boiling water and great for sites or festivals with no EHU for my travel kettle.
