Perhaps dopey Kirk "not knowing where to look when they do it on the bus" actually normalises it and says more about his type than Bfeeders.

Arrrghhhhhhhhh so bloody annoying! I was hoping that they would take the opportunity to 'normalise' Breastfeeding or at least be supportive...how many negative comments were they trying to cram in to one scene

tbh if they don't do something with this story i do think we should write to them and ask why the hell they're doing it.

I just dont understand why, if they cant use it as an opportunity for normal breastfeeding, why they have to promote formula? It gets me angry. Am swearing at the tv again.

I think it has done wonders to promote breastfeeding! One look at Gail has strengthened my resolve not to turn to formula (grin)

lol Lockets - or perhaps she will give that bottle of formula, end up struggling with nipple confusion but through a combination of expressed milk top ups which she gradually phases out with the support of her health visitor get back to exclusive breastfeeding?

She then trains as a counsellor and converts the whole of Weatherfield to be breastfeeding supporters...

Peppapig - I've just been thinking the same thing. Surely if they don't feel able to support BFing they could at least remain neutral - they were really over the top with being negative about it.

i was telling tony off for being so unsupportive!! i also would hardly use gail the chinless platt as a reason to bottle feed!! i might right a strongly worded email to itv
