...eat whatever I like
...get drunk
...lose baby weight x 2 (at the same time as eating whatever I like )
...get DH to put both boys to bed on HIS OWN
...go away
...let MIL have both boys LOTS

...have no excuse about not losing weight/having butter on my toast/snacking during the day

You?

I'm not BF but I'll join you in all of the above

PrettyCandles · 01/10/2008 13:54

Buy lots and lots of gorgeous, beautiful, attractive, supportive bras. And then I'll just have to have matching knickers, too.

totallypeedoff · 01/10/2008 13:55

throw a party to celebrate and book surgery for my now deformed boobs.

beansprout · 01/10/2008 13:55

miss it .

MoreTeaAnyone · 01/10/2008 13:56

aw beansprout. that;s a nice twist you put on the thread there. I missed it lots when I stopped.

beansprout · 01/10/2008 13:57

But I will buy some nice underwear too!!!

ShowOfHands · 01/10/2008 13:57

... absolutely miss it enormously.

But I will be burning my greying nursing bras in the front garden and whooping maniacally.

wotsits · 01/10/2008 13:57

snap beansprout! DS has now stopped BF and I'm feeling a bit

wotsits · 01/10/2008 13:59

ooh yes! new, pretty, underwired bras

LadyOfWaffle · 01/10/2008 13:59
  • have a bath longer than 2 mins
  • have a long shower with door closed
  • decent bras
  • casually walk around the shops... alone
  • use body oils/shower gels/lotions etc. rather than plain plain shower gel
  • wear thinner tops as I don't have to worry about wet patches/big round circles where breast pads are
  • have a decent drink
  • get DH to look after the two just one evening
LadyOfWaffle · 01/10/2008 14:01
  • drink a cup of tea while hot
  • eat dinner at the table (not one handed from arm of sofa)
  • type 2 handed
(one handed right now as it happens!)
fishie · 01/10/2008 14:01

i'm bf and i do / have done all of that.

Bucharest · 01/10/2008 14:02

be sad...

HaventSleptForAYear · 01/10/2008 14:02

BTW, have just worked out that a front closing "normal" bra works fine for bf an older baby (DS = 21mths).

I have a Calvin Klein one on right now and although it's not pretty pretty, it's v. good under a white top and a change from my horrid old nursing ones.

this one in nude

LadyOfWaffle · 01/10/2008 14:02
  • probably get up the duff again!
JustKeepSwimming · 01/10/2008 14:03

Oh gawd, yes the underwear, i can see the credit card bills now
and matching, DEFINITELY!!!

hey beansprout oh yes i will miss it too, but it will be 42months (9+12 x 2) since my body was purely mine and i am on a bit of a countdown!!

Will hopefully just have a year off, then start all over again

...will walk past the breast pad part of the supermarket and NOT STOP!!!!

Be very old.

HaventSleptForAYear · 01/10/2008 14:04

Ladyofwaffle I'm afraid that most of those will not change whether you are bf or not!

But I have done most of the above (otherwise no way would still be bf DS2 still!)

Am even off for a week next week without him but a little unsure about whether we will continue bf or not when I return.

JustKeepSwimming · 01/10/2008 14:04

front closing bras sound good - underwired tho??

...not need to wear something to hold pads in place all night, woohoo!

OP posts:
Snaf · 01/10/2008 14:05

Any reason why you're not eating whatever you like and getting drunk now? You can do both those things and bf

HaventSleptForAYear · 01/10/2008 14:06

What is the problem with underwired, after say, 6 mths when you are pretty much back to normal size?

I can see they'd be uncomfy before that, and have heard about blocking milk ducts etc. but surely after a while it's not an issue???

I wear my normal bras in the day to work.

skidaddle · 01/10/2008 14:08

sleep with no bra on, woohoo
wear tight tops
let DH touch my boobs (maybe..)

oh yes and miss it terribly

JustKeepSwimming · 01/10/2008 14:09

i've wondered about underwired before but always felt it was 'verboten' so stuck with my bf bras (some of which i like...)

OP posts:
JustKeepSwimming · 01/10/2008 14:09

...get back into all my 'small' tops (if i lose the weight too obv!)
