...eat whatever I like
...get drunk
...lose baby weight x 2 (at the same time as eating whatever I like )
...get DH to put both boys to bed on HIS OWN
...go away
...let MIL have both boys LOTS

...have no excuse about not losing weight/having butter on my toast/snacking during the day

Not for everyone! I'm off caffeine completely and not having too much of anything else fizzy. It's driving me nuts! Most Mums won't need to avoid anything, I'm just unfortunate.

xx

Take whatever medicines you need to which I find liberating. I can finally use deep heat on my painful knees

sausagecake · 02/10/2008 21:51

Hope a G&T tastes as good as it always did. Also, lock myself in the bathroom for a few hours to catch up with all the defuzzing, shaping, clipping and all round general pampering which I haven't got round to in 18 months!!!! (with the G&T)

...stop wearing nursing bras
...lose some weight
...go back to being a veggie
...sleeeeeeep
and
...ttc!

lollipopm - think normal coke/lemonade is ok, it's the diet ones that have aspartame (& other stuff too prob) in that are the issue.
saying that i am cutting down the sprites now and changing to diet coke slowly as i want to lose weight more than i worry about aspartame

deep heat would be great on my neck/shoulders, mmmm. though prob when i stop bf i won't have sat in a weird position to make my neck ache in the first place!

...not be the person who HAS to get up with the baby in case they are hungry, dh can do it, i will buy earplugs

Just so you know, I'm still feeding DD at 14 mo, just in the morning, and it doesn't restrict me in the slightest any more. Except I would probably have to stop if I went away for a week or two, but that's not going to happen anyway! I can go up to 2 or 3 days between feeds at the moment. Coz I only feed her in the morning I no longer have to wear nursing bras. I'm just hoping that even with just one feed a day the bfing is making he hold on to that last half a stone!

But it isn't always this restrictive, you can carry on and eat/drink what you like etc., though obviously circumstances may be a bit different for different people.

MummyToPlumpChild · 05/10/2008 11:43

I looked forward to wearing dresses again and tops that couldn't be pulled up easily...

pudding25 · 05/10/2008 11:59

-drink 20 gallons of diet coke.
-drink bottles and bottles of fizzy water.
-drink enormous frappucinos from starbucks.
-get pissed

VeryHungryKatypillar · 05/10/2008 15:21

Sleep on my front!

whomovedmychocolate · 05/10/2008 15:23

...be 92

probably, DD seems determined to feed till she leaves to go to Uni

Washersaurus · 05/10/2008 15:35

have empty saggy breasts, a few sizes smaller....

Still bf DS2 (14mo) 3/4 times a day, but have been back in regular bras for months and eat and drink whatever I fancy (I don't drink much alcohol anyway)

I don't think it NEEDS to be as restrictive as some people make out, but obviously it is different for everyone.

PumpkinPatty · 05/10/2008 15:50

When I stopped BFing I:

-felt very sad and missed it for about 2 weeks

-forgot to stop eating as if I was feeding another person and consquently...

-put weight on

-but still totally lost my cleavage

-forgot I hadn't drunk much alcohol for the last couple of years and got very drunk very quickly at a party. And then puked

Feel free to learn from my mistakes

annamama · 05/10/2008 16:51

Hahaha pumpkin patty. Thanks for sharing your mistakes... I feel sad about stopping bf (maybe soon), but I will feel more free too. How about hormones, did anyone miss the BF "feel-good" hormones?

BigBadMousey · 05/10/2008 19:52

sob uncontrollably for a while then try to console myself by burning awful, overused, overstretched BF bras and wearing a dress when I feel like it.

It won't work though....blimin boobs have been the bane of my life since they arrived on the scene - it was nice to actually get something positive out of them.
