Gold Breastmilk Necklace that isn't £££+

I'm so proud of myself for managing to breastfeed for 1 month with my second (I combine fed with formula and pumped, and never managed anything post day 2 with my first). Might not be much to some but I'm buzzing.

I have 2 syringes of cholostrum left that I never got around to feeding him (he's 10 months now) - never had a stash as I was a pump and feeder.

I'd really like a necklace pendant made. Gold in colour, as this tends to be what I wear, but doesn't need to be gold in metal (or can be low carat). I'm struggling to find anywhere that does nice looking, but cheaper necklaces. Totally get how lovely they are and we'll made but can't justify £400-600. I'm happy spending about £200.

Anyone have any recommendations at all?

Have I completely missed something here , you want a gold necklace to say / signify that you have breast fed ?

Or You want to somehow included the colostrum?

Or you just want to reward yourself ( perfectly fine) for breast feeding

Or ????

I used this company
milkdiamonds.co.uk/collections/pendants

I’ve heard of belly chains and push presents. But never a breastfeeding necklace. Is it A Thing?

TheAutumnCrow · 08/06/2025 18:11

Is it like getting your pet’s ashes made into a very beautiful and completely wearable gemstone?

Nomnomnew · 08/06/2025 18:27

I used SWL keepsakes for a breastmilk charm for my Pandora bracelet and was really pleased with it - good quality, reasonable price and the process was easy. They do necklaces too so maybe check them out. Well done for your achievement!

You can have jewelery made that has your breastmilk in - either in resin or glass.

Yes :)

I'm thinking of attempting this myself with resin resin is relatively easy to do, I just don't know if I can make it look like it's not home made!

ThePhantomoftheEcobubbleOpera · 08/06/2025 18:38

How do you know that they are actually using your breast milk and aren't just handing you some expensive glass beads?

Like all things, I'd go for a reputable business.

Oh how REVOLTING 🤢

BlondeCircus · 08/06/2025 20:49

I’m lost for words but I’m old!

Aydeeaichdee · 08/06/2025 20:54

That sounds very grim.

Why not just buy a nice necklace to mark the occasion?

Does your engagement ring have semen in it? 😅

ttccd21 · 08/06/2025 21:00

I used a company called milkyway I found on Instagram and they do gold plated jewellery which is just under £100 so slightly cheaper than you’ve seen but still beautiful and well made x

DeSoleil · 08/06/2025 21:01

‘You can have jewellery made that has your breastmilk in it- either resin or glass.’

Good grief!

Why? Just why would you want to do that?

You’re pulling our legs!

HappyNewTaxYear · 08/06/2025 21:03

Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.

Probably to commemorate her journey as she’s done an amazing job. It’s a popular thing to do

DiscoBeat · 08/06/2025 21:07

Why though? Your own baby is the product of the wonderful stuff.

One for Dragon's Den.

😂😂😂

Trampoline · 08/06/2025 21:37

Those bead teething necklaces made from amber were a thing but not heard of this!
Can you actually see the liquid...? Is there meant to be a health benefit of wearing this..like copper for arthritis?! Sorry for what may seem like daft questions.

Thatsrhesummeroverthen · 08/06/2025 21:40

Did the OP ask if she was unreasonable to want this? Because I thought she asked where to get one.

Thatsrhesummeroverthen · 08/06/2025 21:43

I have no personal experience of this company, but this diy one on Etsy seems reasonably priced
