question for determination...how long do the herbal tintures take to arrive from bf heaven

im ordering som more milk plus tomorrow and wondered how long it normally takes to arrive

You will have enough to donate in no time at all especially if your expressing too. You will see and feel yourself filling up within an hour! Just do not take more than the recommended dosage as that could lead to problems too... overactive supply/letdown/blockages/ mastitis. I was fine because i set specific times to express each day.. i done 8pm and 4am for my donor stash. Everyone said i was crazy for getting up during the nigh when i didn't need to, but i felt like i HAD to pay back something because i was no longer able to donate blood. This is how i done it.

nope, never ever ever! Purely because i got a blood transfusion. Apparently it is due to CJD, as that can be passed thru blood but not milk?? This was the explanation i was given anyway!

Think the ticture is well worth the vile taste eh?! I took it as recommended on the bottle ever day. Have you felt you letdown more than usual since taking it. I feel like my breast are dancing with flashing lights when i let down.. it is very strange but actually quite nice

robin, I bought mine off ebay because I couldn't be bothered to register with bf heaven (yes, I'm that lazy lol) so it'll probably be here monday. I will start taking it straight away so I'll let you know how I get on with it! I never feel any let down reflex either so it'll be interesting to see if this tincture affects that too.

You're both making me feel guilty, I've never given blood because I've always been needle phobic. Donating breastmilk would be a lovely way to help out! Wishful thinking at the moment though while my baby is hungry.

Yeah it's good to have someone else in the same boat so we can compare notes! When I feed baby I can hear swallowing a lot of the time, but he's sneaky, he falls asleep a lot of the time, or comfort sucks without drinking, so I have to keep an ear out for swallowing noises, no point in him using me like a dummy until I'm sore!

Sometimes have a leak but usually in the morning when boobs are engorged. Rarely have one in afternoon/evening, my boobs generally feel empty later on. This is what I want to change! Quite excited about the stuff arriving now. Never thought I'd be jealous of leaky spraying boobs! lol

Robin, reading you messages makes me feel so happy and excited. this is what i was like when i started it too. My milk was flowing so fast that my dd was choking and it would come out her nose,, she can handle it now tho and a full feed lasts less than 5 mins. Thats every 3 - 5 hours I love night time feeds because she falls asleep whilst feeding and it gives me that longer cuddle..

The difference is unbelievable. I squirt at the slightest mutter from her! Or just when im getting out the shower and start drying myself i start squirting.. i dont even feel full with it though

this has varied from a pathetic half oz after an hour 45 mins pumping
to max of 4.5 oz

when dd has gone to bed of course which is usually about 11pm

yeah its sooo funny to be so excited about spraying boobs
if anyone would of said i would of been like this when i was pregnant i would of said yeah right and thought that they where mad!
i used to think about friends that bf dont think id be able to do that ... i want a life as well as a baby

but then the little bundle arrives or like in my case comes crashing into the world lol and its like youve been hit by a thunderbolt and all you want to do is your best for them
so you sit there in the early days bf from 9pm til 5 am
getting sore cracked bleeding nips
being the only one that can get up to feed them at night going on a milking pump machine etc !

becoming a mum has really changed me
and for the better i feel
im much less selfish now

I turned into a complete over obsessed, psychotic freak of a mother, who could not sleep at night for fear of not hearing my dd breathe/ choke on sick/or even cry! felt like i lay on the edge of my bed listening and just dozing to sleep for months. My whole world revolved around my perfect little invention and her source of food! I honestly did'nt enjoy the first few months with dd1 because of that. Now with dd2 i have enjoyed every minute, im so much more relaxed about the whole motherhood game. ~ even though im still very over protective. BFing is the most beautiful and prescious thing i have ever done and i want it to last as long as possible.

determination, I'm still barely sleeping because I'm listening out for sick/gagging/choking noises, it's pretty stressful! I suppose I shouldn't worry so much but it still feels too good to be true that he's here and he's healthy and safe. Such an optimist, aren't I?

if i manage to go a while between feeds it does drip out and if like this am i had a bath before feeding then it sprays!

Still not here! Lesson learnt....

I started using the special blend as it has goats rue and noticed a difference within 1 day. but when that was finished I bought the more milk plus alc free and it tasted much better. it is very very sweet like syrup though. think they both work just the same I couldn't say I noticed any real difference. No other tips other than the oats. Regarding drinking.. just drink to satisfy thirst. I prob don't even drink 1 ltr per day!

Oh god it looks like pondwater and tastes rank. I mixed it in orange juice and downed it but it's still mingtastic! Still, if it works it's worth it! I bought the more milk plus with no alcohol.

babana.. the one without alcohol tastes FAR better than the one with alcohol! Robin, I took it for 3months then stopped taking it.. but noticed a slight drop in supply afterwards.. been thinking of reordering now tho coz the oats aren't boosting it as much as I feel is needed. I noticed on bfing heaven that they are not dispatching orders this week.. so it will be next week before I receive it
