Just melting at my ds (16m) word for a feed, saying in a disgruntled voice ‘dood da’ and then giving a little happy chuckle when I get ready to feed him.

Very soft and unmumsnetty thread but what do yours call a feed?

Dd, years ago, ‘baba’.

DD called it 'Dubbas', reason was there none, but it carried over to her younger brother and it is still referred to as such now if they ever notice a baby feeding.

My 18 month doesn't have a word for it, she just plonks herself on me, slaps my boobs and pulls my top up/down to signify that I need to whip the tit out for a feed or else.

She does have a chuckle when I give in and give her a feed (we are trying to cut down - it is not working)

DS called it boobie. Hilariously embarrassing when I needed the loo in a large department store and had to walk through the underwear department to get there. DS started excitedly running towards some bras, both hands outstretched, shouting BOOBIES, at the top of his voice. DD doesn't talk yet.

Feed-a-weed! I know it's because I say "do you want a wee feed?" It's very cute though.

My DD (18m) sits on my lap and goes boobie, boobie, I say who wants boobie and she says me me! 😂
