Let's start by introducing us/babies again Grin

Morning all,

DS finally went back to sleep at 04.40 and I have managed to have another 3.5 hours sleep. He has just had his morning feed and I'm preparing hunt down DH and hand him over Grin

Cariad007 · 13/09/2014 08:37

Well DS and I slept from about 10pm-330am and then again from then to about 545am. DS managed to get to sleep afterwards but I couldn't as my brogue-wearing upstairs neighbour was clattering around for over half an hour. What he was doing at that time I really don't know but he left the house just after 6 so perhaps he's gone on holiday. I'm not sure if he realises how loud he is - why can't he just not wear shoes in the house like normal people??? (He also watches porn with his curtains wide open, but that's another story...)

mrsmugoo · 13/09/2014 10:05

Similar night to your Cariad - he went from 7:45pm to 3:15am then straight back down by 3:30 after a feed until 6am and then in with me for an hour, up for the day at 7am. I can totally cope with this and am thankful our nights are drama free because good lord, our days…..

Send Wine and Biscuit

Writerwannabe83 · 13/09/2014 11:16

What traumas do you have in the day missmugoo?? Still problems with his naps??

I'm trying to feed DS into a sleep now but not sure how successful I will be.

He's just had an absolute monster if a nappy - the poo was up his back, his shoulders and down his arms Grin It took two of us to clean him up and DH was not impressed!!

AuntieMaggie · 13/09/2014 11:48

I had one of those yesterday writer and when I was carrying him to the bathroom to clean him he was sick all over me!

The little monkey has been asleep for 2 hours!

Writerwannabe83 · 13/09/2014 12:00

He sounds like a charmer Grin

My DS used to have a dirty nappy every 2-3 days but now he's having 1-2 every day.

He's been asleep for 45 minutes now and my arm has gone dead. I think I'll text DH and ask him to bring me a cup of tea Angry

Cannotbelieveit · 13/09/2014 12:10

Ryder has been napping for just over an hour. Ds1 is eating his lunch very quietly in the same room and I'm going to attempt to put makeup on!! Wish me luck that R stays asleep! We need to be out by 1.30!

Writerwannabe83 · 13/09/2014 12:22

DH bought he a cup of tea and woke DD up in the process Confused I've made DH take DS downstairs so I can enjoy my cup of tea and my bag of maltesers in peace Grin

I hope he stays asleep but if he's anything like mine I wouldn't hold out too much hope Smile

AuntieMaggie · 13/09/2014 12:49

Ds has a new trick - lifting his bum up and kicking the top of the crib with both feet completely bypassing the bumpers on the bars Hmm was very cute sitting on the sofa yesterday watching his feet appear over the top of the moses basket

Writerwannabe83 · 13/09/2014 13:01

Babies are just brilliant aren't they!!! Grin Grin

mrsmugoo · 13/09/2014 13:13

Writer -yep, next to non-existent naps. I'm lucky to get 2 x 30 minutes. It's bloody relentless.

Cariad007 · 13/09/2014 14:36

Lol at the poonami Writer, DS's worst involved me having to cut off his vest suit with scissors!

Writerwannabe83 · 13/09/2014 15:17

Haha - that must have been bad!! I once had to use rubber gloves to change him because there was just so much poo - I didn't want to touch him!!!

I've managed to get another 35 minute nap out of him so that's good.

Do you think he sleeps so well at night though mrsmugoo because he doesn't nap in the day?

mrsmugoo · 13/09/2014 18:45

No Ido t think it's related - he's never slept well in the day. He was never a sleepy newborn, he was always awake and alert.

Saying that... I've had an hour nap and a TWO HOUR nap today. It's been his best napping day ever!

Cannotbelieveit · 13/09/2014 19:26

2.5 hours of naps today which considering we've been out is good! Just having his last feed. Really need the sleep tonight for that bridal makeup trial I have tomorrow!!

OP posts:
Writerwannabe83 · 13/09/2014 19:56

How exiting!!!

The first bridal make-up trial I had was horrendous!! She turned me into a monster, I looked like a drag queen!!! Needless to say I didn't book her for the day Grin

When are you getting married??

Cannotbelieveit · 13/09/2014 19:59

I'm already married writer. It's me doing the makeup Grin

OP posts:
Writerwannabe83 · 13/09/2014 20:10

Oh I see - how funny would it have been if you'd been the beautician I was talking about, lol Grin

Cannotbelieveit · 13/09/2014 20:15

Haha! I'm good at what I do. Always been booked after a trial I'm glad to say! And when working on counter the customers always wanted me and ignored my colleagues.

Writerwannabe83 · 13/09/2014 20:20

I bet it's a great job!! I would love to see loads of beautiful brides and their bridesmaids on their special day - I'm really soppy though and would probably start crying Grin

Cannotbelieveit · 13/09/2014 20:44

This one may be emotional on the day as it's a longtime customer of mine who is a good friend Smile

mrsmugoo · 13/09/2014 21:08

I didn't know you were a MUA cannot - I used to do a bit of freelance makeup too but my kit's a bit old now. I wouldn't mind to start it again in the future, I really enjoyed it.

Cannotbelieveit · 13/09/2014 21:12

Bridal makeup is good £ for what it is really! People where I live do not want to pay the going rate tho!

OP posts:
Cannotbelieveit · 13/09/2014 21:13

Mrs I also used to manage a Bobbi brown studio in a big dept store but stepped down to mua after my first mat leave.

OP posts:
AuntieMaggie · 13/09/2014 22:00

Oh I love make up and have far too much! haven't worn any since about may though... my poor eyeshadow collection is being neglected. I would love to be a mua but I'm crap at doing it on others and don't like touching other people... same reason 8 didn't do anything medical!

ds hasn't pooed today - usually he goes morning and evening but yesterday was just the monster one in the afternoon and we haven't had one today.

Fingers crossed everyone has a good night :)
