Here's a fresh thread!

Let's start by introducing us/babies again Grin

Cannotbelieveit · 19/09/2014 19:20

That poster pistol is a total twunt! She can shove her opinions up her ass!!! Babies under 6 months generally do need a night feed!! In fact it's the exception when they do sleep thru.

Writerwannabe83 · 19/09/2014 19:27

I'm going to go and find it - I love reading arrogant posts written by 'not right in the head' twunts Grin

Cannotbelieveit · 19/09/2014 19:35

Did you find it writer Wink

OP posts:
Writerwannabe83 · 19/09/2014 20:15

I've just sat and read all 15 pages of it!!!

Shock @ Pistol

Her comments were hilarious about length of breast feeds - I hope that all of us women on this thread are taking note that if our babies sleep well at night it means we are starving them in the day and they are sleeping due to exhaustion, not fulfilment Grin

Cannotbelieveit · 19/09/2014 20:17

Craziness eh?!!

OP posts:
Writerwannabe83 · 19/09/2014 20:21

That lady has issues!!!

Writerwannabe83 · 19/09/2014 20:21

That lady has issues!!!

Mitsufishi · 19/09/2014 20:28

Thanks for reading it! The ahem assertiveness has been quite shocking. Judging by something recently posted I think she is lurking on this thread so let's quickly pretend our babies have suddenly started sleeping through the night to keep safe.

Mine is four weeks and sleeping through the night 7-7 and every time I tell her to during the day.

innocent whistling

Writerwannabe83 · 19/09/2014 20:32

I hope missmugoo is prepared to be reported to SS for only 'allowing' her DS to feed for 3 minutes each side thus being starved off all calories. No wonder she has the best sleeper most neglected and exhausted out of all of us on this thread Shock Grin

Mitsufishi · 19/09/2014 20:32

Ps we've been dubbed a merry band of mummies on the 'Up All Night Feeding But 'Cos There's Loads Of Us We Can Tell Ourselves It's 'Normal' thread.

Writerwannabe83 · 19/09/2014 20:33

And I'm proud to say that because my DS is such a crap napper I actually drove around in my car for an hour this morning just to get him to fall sleep and to make him stay asleep!!! Shock Grin

Cannotbelieveit · 19/09/2014 20:33

I stand by twunt!!! waves if she's reading this

OP posts:
Mitsufishi · 19/09/2014 20:35

Well I rocked DD back and forth making a hysterical crying noise because when I was actually hysterically crying the other day she nodded right off. I figure she likes the sound because she knows she's won!

Writerwannabe83 · 19/09/2014 20:36

GrinGrin I don't think any of us have said it's 'normal' - if anything I think we are quite aware of what nightmare babies we have!!!! However, this thread is to help each other through it because we know that despite all our best efforts and all the will in the world our babies just don't do what we or GF and Pistol want them to do Grin

cookielove · 19/09/2014 21:04

Hello all, I hope that thread has gone poof yet I love reading those kind of threads!

Ds went back to sleeping and only waking for feeds for the last two nights don't want to jinx it. He is due on Tuesday Grin he'll be out of the minus numbers yay!!

Writerwannabe83 · 19/09/2014 21:16

Happy Due Birthday on Tuesday to baby Cookie Grin

I remember when I innocently started a thread about Gina Ford in AIBU and it all went MENTAL. My post was intended to be quite light hearted but I didn't know the background between her and MN and I think my thread got deleted to avoid any further legal action Smile

Cannotbelieveit · 19/09/2014 21:28

What's the background? Wink

OP posts:
mrsmugoo · 19/09/2014 21:39

Chortling at the thought that I have the best sleeper in the thread - oh how times have changed??!

He's not that great - 6 months and still one or two night feeds. Will I ever get an unbroken night's sleep ever again??

Today a miraculous thing happened though - he woke up after 45 piddly minutes of his afternoon nap so I just left him. He had a little cry and a shuffle about and only went and resettled for another HOUR!

Anyway night night ladies - good luck for tonight!!

Sammyviv · 19/09/2014 21:45

Wow can we get back to what we do best and support one another although twunt is my new favourite word!!!!
No twunts allowed or permitted on this thread. If they come I choose ignore them and rise above.
So here we go, Gona try and put DS down and get a few hours in. Wish me luck everyone, I absolutely will be here in the small hours :)

Writerwannabe83 · 19/09/2014 21:51

I got DS off to sleep at 19.40, he woke 20 minutes later and started crying but was rocked off back to sleep within ten minutes. He woke again though after an hour and started crying but was back to sleep after another 10 minutes of rocking.

So we are 30 minutes into his current block of sleep and I'm hoping this is him settled now until 2-3am which is when he normally wakes for a feed.

Goodnight all and good luck!!!! Smile

OliviaRinHerts · 19/09/2014 22:01

I've decided to try and Keep ds awake until midnight. He's been sleeping most of the day so although I think he is a little early for a major routine I think I am going to try at least differentiate between day and night. Can't be any worse than being up all night! Good luck everyone. I hope i don't hear from you all but I suspect I will be online And will see some of you!

OliviaRinHerts · 19/09/2014 22:04

I've just googled twunt- am currently laughing so much And My pelvic floor muscles have not recovered from the episiotomy and the third degree tear so I am worried I will leak pee!

AuntieMaggie · 19/09/2014 22:50

Welcome newcomers :)

Mitsu - I started reading your thread the other day but didn't post cos I saw you had some good responses...

ok day here but ds is asleep on me now but not very deeply so afraid to put him down!

Cariad007 · 19/09/2014 23:15

DS is asleep in his cot for a change! He will probably be up for a feed in an hour or so but then hopefully will sleep for a bit longer. We are going to DP's parents tomorrow and staying the night - our first overnighter with DS so let's hope it goes well. I guess the train journey etc will be good practice for our trip to Oz, although I'll have to manage DS by myself on the way there - eek! Actually am not worried so much about him because if he cries he cries but I have issues with coccyx pain if I sit down for too long and am hoping I'm not crippled by the end of the flight!

Cariad007 · 19/09/2014 23:27

And he's just woken up sobbing :( Havw put him one boob to comfort him and he seems to be drifting off again. Poor thing, quite often he seems to have nightmares and wake himself up. Can babies even have nightmares?
