Susieloo · 20/11/2012 05:31

4th feed of the night and we seem to have gone back in time in terms of waking every 3 hours or less again which is pants, hate this constant heady tired feeling.

Very cute baby pics amey and mrsnSmile

Susieloo · 20/11/2012 05:32

marbles your typos at the end of your last post have just made me laugh, sounds like elvishGrin

MrsNPattz · 20/11/2012 05:54

Second feed here, very sleepy! Really hoping he doesn't think it's up time!!

Thanks susie it's one of my favourite pics Smile

Plans for today? I'm taking MIL for lunch and packing for Friday - what an overwhelming task packing for 10 days away with a baby is!! I have had to sort out little things each day for a few days now or my head would explode Grin

HeffalumpsAndWoozles · 20/11/2012 06:38

Babylump has been good to me again, first feed since midnight here. I don't know what I've done to deserve such good luck but I'll take it and be grateful!

Sorry to hear there are some poorly babies again, and some seriously knackered mums. amey I agree with what funch said, you must be due some pretty good times soon after all this sickness and lack of sleep!

mrsn that picture is adorable!

As for what I look like, I'm blonde 5'6", quite pale skinned (never ever tans :( ) pre pregnancy 1 size 8-10, never really got it back in between so pre pregnancy 2 size 10-12, now I'm probably 12 on top and 14 on the bottom. Need to lose it this time, no more excuses! I never really grew out of my teenage goth stage (although I did dump the black lippy and matrix jacket thankfully!) so I guess my style is quite monochrome, and I'm a sucker for anything black and sparkly.

Right, time for operation stealth transfer...

NervousAt20 · 20/11/2012 06:57

Aw sounds like a horrid day amey moan away it always helps Smile

How did your GD test go smicha?

Aww susie lovely bath picture Grin

Second feed of the night here Grin DDs trapped wing has been getting really bad and the poor mite gas been having a good try with it so fm tonight we've given her infacol and touchwood she is alot more happier on it, even though she absolutely hates the taste the faces she pulls are hilarious

I'm 5"2 size 10-12 have blonde brown hair with highlights they are going because a trip to the hairdressers is never gunna happen I'm quite pale skin and also have big black bags round my eyes Wink

We have LO hospital appointment tomorrow so getting nervous
Mope your all sleeping well

Ameybee · 20/11/2012 07:04

Well, got the most sleep of the night between 3 and now (thank god) I am absolutely knackered! MIL said she would come here today as DD was supposed to be going to her for day.
Thanks for the support everyone, its much needed! I suffered with PND quite badly with DD & am terrified of getting it again so all the stress keeps making me think it will happen again as I keep having days when I really feel I can't cope but I would really like to avoid medication this time if I can.
DH text me at 3 to day she hadn't been sick again so fingers crossed shes on the mend, always takes her a good few days to recover tho.
I actually really miss DH at the mo, he's mainly bunking in with DD due to illness and random night wakings & as soon as DS goes to sleep i go to bed so we barely get any time together at all :( x

Ameybee · 20/11/2012 07:14

Ps a lot of my Facebook profile pics are very fraudulent as I'm mainly at least 2 stone heavier depressingly! My weight really yo yo's and I did promise myself I wouldn't overeat this pregnancy but I did! Weight watchers seems to work better for me over slimming world so here goes! I don't want to go on my work Xmas do as I feel so fat!! X

daisychain76 · 20/11/2012 08:25

Hope all goes well today nervous. Had worst night ever here ~ usually goes down ok eventually but then is up 30 mins later and won?t be settled by shushing or stroking. Any tips gratefully received?!

MrsNPattz · 20/11/2012 09:36

That's us up for the day so we did get a bit more sleep thankfully Smile

nervous we are going to stay with my family in Chester - I'm so excited cause I haven't been home since July and my dad and brother haven't seen little man since he was first born! Can't wait for my grandad to meet him to, and all of my other family and friends! Your auto corrects made me laugh Smile hope your little ones wing wind gets better soon hehe

Thanks heff - really pleased you had a great night! It feels wonderful doesn't it!

amey hope you get some rest today - hopefully PND won't flare up again, keep talking to us!

NervousAt20 · 20/11/2012 12:42

Thanks daisy

Aw it will be lovely to see all your family again and you get to show yor little one off Grin. Ha I didn't even notice autocorrect I really should preview before posting

MrsNPattz · 20/11/2012 17:10

How did it go nervous?

Hope evil is ok - she hasn't been on for a while!

MrsNPattz · 20/11/2012 18:12

amey I managed to add another picture on the computer, but it wouldn't let me on my IPad!

Smallgreenone · 20/11/2012 18:28

Cute photos mrsn
I've managed to add two now as well.
Weather here has been shocking today. We have friends coming tomorrow so hope it cheers up a bit or we'll all be stuck in the house.
DH is out tonight so I'm on my own- anyone else panic when it's just them?! I'm on my own all day and am obviously fine but somehow at night I get panicky that I can't cope Confused. I've got to get baby small to bed early too so I can make a cake for tomorrow and prepare the casserole stuff for the slow cooker which means of course that baby small will decide to play tricks and not go to bed for hours!!
I've forgotten who had buggyfit today- susieloo was it you, did you enjoy it?

blonderthanred · 20/11/2012 18:42

Hello all, my Ewan arrived so looking forward to trying it out later. Although DS has been very sleepy and not latching properly all afternoon so I suspect we are in for a hungry and lively night regardless.

Btw you can probably guess my hair colour, other than that I am short and fat! November babies people you can see me on the fb group but I don't have a pic on here. Will add one when I can get my laptop working again.

missingmymarbles · 20/11/2012 19:05

Evening.

I'm posting now, as I am so tired if when I'm up in the night I'm sure I won't manage.

On last feed before bed, and will be closely behind but have to get DD1 to bed first. DH has been off sick today too, so he's not helping with bed time tonight. I think Missmarbles has finally turned the corner and is starting to feel better Smile She still has gallons of snot and slavver, and her cough still sounds dreadful but both are a bit better. She still isn't feeding great throughout the day so I might still be up all night again to keep topping her up, but I do hope she goes back to longer sleeps. She vomited her feed back at teatime with coughing but seems to be alright since. Here's hoping......

Hope whoever it was enjoyed buggy fit. I soo need to get back into it; and Slimming World. I feel so fat and frumpy at the minute.

My typos this morning should have said "most times, I can hardly keep my eyes open" but varny is a real word (well a colloquialism anyway)Grin

Who was doing GTT's today? Hope that's ok and you've not got residual ishoos.

Can't remember what else was going on.... Hello to newbies coz I think I've missed a few in my exhausted delirium.

Plan for this evening: attempt transfer (that reminds me Grin at military radio comms) and if successful, soak my Christmas cake fruit, put DD1 to bed and sleeeeeepp! Then probably see you all repeatedly through the night.

Smicha · 20/11/2012 19:18

I was the one doing buggyfit and really enjoyed it! I am seriously unfit though! I will keep going as really think being fit will help me run around after lo. And with all that exercise I can eat more cake Grin

Amey, hope you're feeling ok. Hopefully the mn support will help you through.

Feed finished...attempting transfer, I repeat, attempting transfer...

Will be back soon no doubt!

Ameybee · 20/11/2012 20:03

Evening ladies. Well I feel a bit better tonight DD been ok - was using our bed as a trampoline for an hour so taken that as she's feeling better! MIL helped me do the mountain of washing from the vomathon & I managed to get showered in peace - luxury until DD needed a poo and proceeded to describe it to me in detail bless her! I feel a bit sorry for her at mo, she must be fed up of being poorly & I miss my time with her. We had a good snuggle this afternoon when DS was asleep watching tangled - that film makes me cry at the end.
DS napped - in the cot!!! For over an hour today! Serious progress!
DH has booked 3 days off next week which I'm ecstatic about! He's going to let me have long lie ins & naps & we are going to get Xmas decs out lift as DD is dying to put tree up! (I am too)!
Hope everyone has successful transfers - I'm sure my first will not go smoothly! Xxxx

MrsNPattz · 20/11/2012 20:25

My baby has a poorly eye Sad it's really runny and a bit gunky, anyone know what it might be? I have clinic tomorrow so will speak to health visitor, but just wondered if you guys had experienced this.

Thanks small I couldn't get onto yours?

Glad things are a bit better amey and marbles

Ameybee · 20/11/2012 21:14

mrsn my DS had sticky eye for ages and bf counsellor told me to put breastmilk in it! I was like err what?! But it worked in 2 days! And he'd had it over a week! Worth a go if you are bf! X

Smicha · 20/11/2012 21:20

Really Amey?! My ds has got sticky eye too and I've been cleaning it with cooled boiled water but it has been there for a few days...I'll try breastmilk!

MrsNPattz · 20/11/2012 21:28

Wow amey thanks I will try that! Do you put it on it/in it/around it?

missingmymarbles · 20/11/2012 21:31

I'm supposed to be in bed, but Missmarbles has been up on the hour since I put her to bed at 7.

Apparently, babies get gunky eyes because their tear glands are teeny and get blocked easily. Breastmilk is the best ointment for it. Missmarbles used to get sticky eyes from time to time when she was smaller and DH thought it was hilarious watching me trying to express a squirt into her eye, while she was trying to get boob and milk in her mouthGrin

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 20/11/2012 21:40

Just marking place again as haven't caught up.

Having nightmare here. Bad latch caused bleeding nipples and we now have thrush :(

NervousAt20 · 20/11/2012 22:02

Everything was fine with LOs hips and they don't want to see her again thankfully! Thanks for asking mrsn

small I'm home alone tonight too and I feel exactly the same

Just feeding before bed and hoping LO settles quick so I can go to bed too.

Anyone being asked about what people can get LO for Christmas? I've had about 3/4 people ask me since the weekend

funchum8am · 20/11/2012 22:08

izzy you poor thing, have you got some treatment?

Sorry to hear about gunky eyes but if breastmilk cures it at least it is easy and drug free!

amey sounds like things may be turning a corner and yay for DH taking time off!

I went to bed at 7, babyfunch slept all afternoon til I woke her up at 5. Bathed her to keep her awake but gave up and put her down at 6.15 and decided to try to sleep when she does tonight. Fed just now and I will be back to say hello again in a couple of hours, I am sure!

Attempting transfer, over and out Grin
