Morning all- back at work and it feels really quite stuffy- We're on the top floor and its freezing in winter and boiling in summer. The thunder and lightening on Saturday night was quite something in Lincolnshire, forked lightening. I got up in the middle of the night to go to the loo and jumped out of my skin at the lightening flash!
Nymph- I hope your baby movements have been more obvious- it is concerning but I do believe that the position shift at this stage is the biggest culprit. At my scan last Monday, the baby was mmoving loads and I could not feel a thing. With the scan on Friday it was moving loads and I could (it had its legs totally over its head in the breech position with the spine on my right hand side), but I deliberately had an ice cream before I went in . Something sweet does seem to help if you want to feel movement.
Floozie- I have an upright dyson all floors which I've had for 6 years and it goes well. You do have to rinse out the spongy filter to keep the suction, but thats not hard to do and it is a little work horse given that our house in lincolnshire is a dusty building site. I recently bought a follow along brand new dyson for our rented house in bucks and it is very good, but the 'max' fill level is very low and fills up in no time and you find yourself emptying the cylinder twice in a hoovering session, whereas with the upright its emptied twice in a month. The follow along has a different head for hard floors which is very good but a faff to change whereas the upright adjusts itself automatically. The follow along does have a tendency to fall over, but the automatic flex winder is cool. Dyson's are really easy to take apart and clean and most of it can be washed. It is however rubbish that it doesn't lose suction. It does; especially if you've been hoovering up fine dust particles as the filter gets clogged easily. A quick fix is to take the filter outside and bang it vigorously, or if you have time a cold rinse under the tap and leave it to dry is best.
I hope that is helpful!
