Ooh SES tonight could be the night then Grin. If it were me I think I'd tell dh that we'd missed the boat this month but youn fancied a bit anyway (to take away possible performance anxiety Grin)
SORKY, yes I am being very strong (although I am peeing on opks to my heart's content, courtesy of CANT) - I did one by accident yesterday, thinking it was a preg test and have been getting some impressive lines Blush; I am like a dog, I have to wee on something! Still not very hopeful due to that odd pos, though I suppose (grasping at straws) it could have been faulty to the extent that it might have been more sensitive than the other tests despite the cover (e-bay cheapies) or my wee might have been superconcentratedHmm,more so than fmu (double Hmm).
SES,another good 'poem' that I put in friend's wedding card:
'Shortest sentence in the world: I am'
'Longest sentence in the world?: I do!' Grin

Wow Diege! this is all getting excited. Its like a soap opera version of TTC !

Keeping things crossed for you :)

Ses- night out sounds good. My kind of evening Blush Im not a fan of proper hen type things

I love Diege's plan about getting a sneaky GOF tonight. Thats the only thing about TTC, it really takes the edge of having a F. Grin

I agree GIRAFFE, sounds a great hennight to me too - I cringe at the more 'obvious' ones! Mine was spent with 2 friends (well the partners of 2 of dh's mates who I hardly knew, being new to the area, a packet of mini cheddars and close access to toilet (in the throws of hyperemesis). Happy days!
I will try not to disappoint with my soap opera episodes, but as you know things normally end badly, if dramatically,in the soaps!

tinkhasboughtoutalltheshops · 31/08/2010 15:58

afternoon Grin

u r being very restrained diege Wink

essenceofSES · 31/08/2010 16:07

Hello tink! I agree that Diege is being v restrained!

I'm actually going to be even more sneaky re GOF. DH knows tonight is the night then he's away tomorrow and I'm out Thurs so Friday will be the "it's over but let's have a F anyway for fun" Grin
Someone on the CBFM support thread saw their consultant today and he said to keep GOFing until what you think is 5dpo just incase you ov a day or 2 after you think. Tonight and Friday should cover that!

Everywhere I looked in town today I just saw heavily pg ladies or v little babies - made me so broody!

Talking of which, we've not heard from Gruff. Gruff - if you're lurking, let us know how you are!

Diege · 31/08/2010 17:13

I'm only being restrained because I have no more tests GrinNew supply shou;ld be here tomorrow, but I think I'll wait as still think in my heart that something potentially happened but didn't 'take' properly if that makes sense? Would rathter wait till af (or not) than remount the rollarcoaster again!
SES, gof plans sound good. I read on an another thread that post-ov goffing also helps with implantation apparently Hmm (bet that report was written by a man).

cantmummyhaveabreak · 31/08/2010 18:05

Gruff- where are you my PG buddy? Hope you're doing ok.

Diege- i think it's also looking good for testing!! Grin

Smithy- hope the flight goes well/ or went well, saw the post but didn't register what day it was posted (yest/today)...

Been V.pukey the last few days, so not got online.... was so bad yest that friend rallied the 2hr trip to come look after the DC's for me so i could rest, puke and shower!! :(

Oh and someone asked about surrogacy and payment?... smithy? anyway, i get my expeses paid, so maternity clothing, and extra expenses on food due to sickness/tiredness/cravings etc. Any costs incured by being pregnant, and also a small holiday afterwards to have some quality 'recovery' time and family time after the birth. It's very minimal (much lower than the minimum they state for uk law being paid expenses between £X - £x...) I have to keep a log of everything i spend for the pregnancy etc... But there are some perks to it :)

Hello everyone

Sorry I have been AWOL. I was camping for four days and on the last day I POAS and got BFP. (it was CD29, so roughly 15dpo.) We then drove to Scotland to stay with my mum for a week, so I told her straight away. It was a good job I did tell her as within a couple of days I was showing and I seem to be bigger everyday. It is so embarassing as I think people must think I just have put on loads of weight!

We drove back from Scotland yesterday and stopped off at PIL on the way back and stayed over so we came back today. It is good to be home!!:) Told MIL that I was pg and she said she thought I was!LOL

I have had my first day of nausea today, which hasn't been too bad. Have just felt sick, havent actually been sick though. I was never sick with GC although I did gag.

Smithy - have a safe journey back, hope you get the bleeding sorted soon.

Diege - sorry to hear about all the confusion with the test. Hope you get some good news soon!

Ses - kitchen sounds like it is coming on nicely. Good luck for you ttcing this month too!Hope you get your GOF!

Moosy - sorry for the busy week but sounds very exciting too. Yay for the party :)

Gyo - Dull mornings sound pants! I was loving the sunshine today. Fingers crossed for an Indian Summer this year!:)

Sorky - I love all the seasons and get very excited when they change. Its so lovely!

Cant - sorry to hear about the sickness. Hope it passes quickly. LOL about having baby bump already, I know what you mean now!:) Have you told people/have anyone guessed? I think I am just going to have to tell people, LOL!

Tink - glad party went well and your day in Basingstoke - I went there for my birthday :)

Kayz - sorry to hear about the burns and the failed omelette. My trick with omelette is to cook on low heat for ages and then grill the top! Oh and I use 4 eggs and some milk!

Hi to Star if you're lurking and anyone else LBOT? Rugby? Did I forget anyone?!

Better go as loads of unpacking to do Confused

GiraffeYoga · 01/09/2010 08:24

sorky · 01/09/2010 08:59

Tink why don't you add a child to your ELC account. The birthday club sends out email links just before the birthday you input.

One of mine has a birthday in October (not really) so that I get 20% off voucher to use just before Christmas.
If you go to the site via Quidco, you'd get an extra 5% off in form of cash back!
