tink- in a 7 i only have G's, but have a pair of doodles and a pair of school shoes, school shoes are a patent leather with nubuck and a butterfly on them. In good condition, no scuffing to the toes etc.

I dont have any 3.5's... only have 4's, have a pair of clarks and some other shoes in a 4, but as i say not 3.5

tinktellyaddict · 18/08/2010 17:28

cantmummyhaveabreak · 18/08/2010 17:31

Kayzr · 18/08/2010 18:07

cantmummyhaveabreak · 18/08/2010 18:13

yeah- what does he do then?

Kayzr · 18/08/2010 18:15

He works on a cargo ship delivering stuff to oil rigs in the north sea. He does 5 weeks at work and then 5 weeks at home. Which is very nice.

He is taking me away for 2 weekends this time he is back which will be nice.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 18/08/2010 19:21

oooh- get you!! :)

GiraffeYoga · 18/08/2010 19:29

Hello

Grin congratulations Cant!!! wow, that was fast. Hope you are doing ok !

Sorry for BFNs and AF Diege and Ses, keeping everything crossed for you next month.

Hi Moosy :) pics of barn really do look great. Glad you are getting the painting done now.

Kayz- welcome back. Your new chap sounds great :)

Sorry for the slug Ses!

Hi Gruff, Star, Sorky, Tink :)

So much more that I've missed Im sure :-S

We've all been ill here- I had a bug or something last thursday and was just starting to feel better and then we all (me and DH) seem to have got food poisoning- fed up with feeling sick now :(

OP posts:
cantmummyhaveabreak · 18/08/2010 19:36

GYo- you never seem to have luck with illnesses- that was us when DS was at nursery tho... now it's normally just one of us that gets ill... DS was ill yesterday, but the rest of us wera/are fine. hope you're all on the road to feeling better for a while- it's pants when your ill loads of times one after another!!

And yes, it was super fast!! I mean I honestly thought it'd take between 3-6m as it took us 3m to concieve DD2... we've just been super dooper lucky that AF had arrived a day earlier than normal, which i think in turn made me OV a day earlier... If AF had arrived on the friday as usual then i'd have OV'd 14 days later on the 2nd fri normally, and we could only insem on the tues and thurs with us going away for that weekend... i honestly think it's all meant to be and fate dealt us a super lucky hand!! Plus i'm not sure i could have coped with 6m of insems- it was a bit yukky!!

tinktellyaddict · 18/08/2010 19:53

going to leave girls shoes have bought dd2 some cheap trainers in brantano for now will get them measured in 4 weeks time

GiraffeYoga · 18/08/2010 19:56

LOL about yucky insemination- glad you dont need to do it over again :) Im really pleased for you- its great news and a lovelt thing to do for your friend

Oddly enough- this is the first time that I've been proper poorly since February/ March time!

Quite worried that worse that I think and that I really am the hypochondriac that DH reckons I am Grin Wink

Diege · 19/08/2010 13:56

Hello! Have had a busy morning talking the gang to local 'big' park. All fine, though ds extremely vocal about going into buggy - I've never known a baby like him! Need to head out this afternoon to get some bits from shops, also need to unpack final bits from holiday Blush.
I have to say, working from home with all 4 here is impossible Sad My work is sadly lacking, and I have pulled out of a conference that I was due to give a paper at in Sept simply becuase there's no way I can get the work done in time Sad. Still, there will be other conferences, and it's not the end of the world (they are usually pretty dull 'emperor's new clothes' affairs).
TINKS, what are you like - I can see you there at the shops willing your dds' feet to have grown Grin.I think I'm a bit like that too!
MMM your baby group sounds good - will you be meeting up with your new friend again?
CANT, I am intrigued by the imsemination business (having 2 friends who are currently contemplating it) Is it as simple as the old turkey baster???
Big wave to everyone else Smile

tinktellyaddict · 19/08/2010 16:48

diege Wink
it must be hard trying to work
you have me spot on Grin
clarks is the best type of shopping!!
really want to get dd2 trainers they r so cute

Kayzr · 19/08/2010 18:18

Will you look at me!!! 2 days in a row on MN and randomly posting on other threads. Didn't take me long to get hooked again did it?

I feel sick, bleugh. I made cheesey pasta bake for tea and I think I made it too cheesey.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 19/08/2010 20:23

Diege- hopefully this wont be TMI for everyone else but i'll explain the gorier details here rather than in person at liverpool- DC's would have a field day with Q's if they caught half a convo about that!! Grin

basically- he has to do his 'business' into a sterile pot, pot has to be kept at body temp for around 10-20mins till it liquifies... ideally a cleavage is ideal- my friend kept it in hers then handed to me once time was up...

Then i went into my bathroom and using a sterile syringe that i'd had in my pocket (still in pack) to keep warm i had to get the 'stuff' into there... had to then get myself into position- best way i found was on day 2, i led myself with my bum at the side of the bath and hooked my legs over the side and into the bath which raised my hips, and in return my cervix. then carefully, and very slowly put the syringe inside myself as far as it'd go with me still being able to hold it. then VERY slowly syringe it into place. I led there for about 5mins, and did a few 'pelvic floor excercise movements to open and close my cervix (helps to draw it in, apparently having an orgasm can work but i just couldn't do that in the situation i was in- and obviously my trick must have been good).

Once i'd been there about 5mins i literally just wiped myself and got re-dressed, then showered about an hour later.

Think i've included everything... hope that wasn't too yukky to read!! haha!! Grin

Coats came- they left them in our shed round the back- i'm SOOOOO happy with them!! Grin

Diege · 19/08/2010 20:40

Ooh CANT that's very informative - just like I'd imagined really. Pelvic floors rather than orgasm, now that's interesting, and something that I will use myself Blush Grin
KAYZ me old mucker, didn't mean to ignore you there, great to see you back Grin. Who's this new bloke then??? How are things with x and MIL??? Are you still working in the same place? How are the boys??

I also had a parcel left (Boden) outside the house, even though we were all in Hmm.Anyway, contents more than redeemed themselves. All lovely, though I've orderd dd1 the bigger size in her duffle to see if it's worth going up a size (she's inbetween the 7-8 and 9-10 size - now if they did a 8-9 that would be perfect!
Hope everyone's well - quiet on here today!
