Enjoying my start of Mondays off with the children (somehow seems better than Fridays, as have had the weekend to enjoy and now an extra day - soon to be two extra days ). DH has just got home from work and taken them over to the park, so I can have a bit of peace and quiet - he is lush
DD was ill here too Sat night Can't - just about getting through the extra washing now. 1st time through either of them that we were woken up by choking sound as she was being sick in her cot (it woke her up too) and then she was awake every 45 mins after that through 'til 6am with wretching poor thing. I was a zombie yesterday, even though I took her into DH at 6.10am and went back to bed for 2hours, while she at only 16 months managed to sprawl herself across our double, so poor DH couldn't get anymore sleep - must take after her father At least had the foresight to take the spare mattress out of DS' room into DD's room when she was first sick, so I have slept in with her last two nights so me dumping her on DH at 6 was not entirely selfish, as he had been able to sleep while I dealt with her.
MMM - lovely that DS enjoyed Toy Story2. We had Toy Story on here after lunch for DS today. He too will sit through a whole film now (whereas DD won't sit still for 10 mins, let alone the rest), so DH and I are going to fight it out for who gets to take him to Toy Story 3
Ugh to bins Can't and Tink - am waiting for that with ours now this week, as we have put broken gazebo in ours, which means lid won't shut.
Ah well, best go get dinner prepped and washing hung. On a random note, we had a company ring up today to say they would clean carpets in two rooms for £8.99, so I said yes (thinking will get DC's rooms done - all downstairs is not carpeted) - am wondering what the con is going to be?!
LaTour - good to see you back here. Wasn't sure whether to post that on your FB or not, hope it wasn't the wrong thing to do. DSs sounds like they are doing great. Glad you are looking forward to going back to work, I am sure they will be fine settling into nursery. Mine were the same - DS had been at a childminder before I had DD. I was worried about DD, as she was very attached to me, but she settled in better than DS (think it was because he was the oldest in nursery that he struggled a bit more), but he loves it now and is really close buddies with two of the children in particular there (and we have a list of 12 children across there and the pre-school bit that they have said he is close friends with, to invite to his bday party ). Right, chores must be done - can't take the mick out of DH taking the DC out
