Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Starshinetiger · 21/07/2010 12:30

Not at all LBOT at work so no time to post properly - was lovely to meet you on Sun and to meet/see all you other ladies. Will post properly later, but couldn't leave your last post unanswered!

Starshinetiger · 21/07/2010 12:58

Sorry for my random post - I tried to post that yesterday from my iphone LBOT in response to your threadkiller post and it failed, but obviously when I just logged in from my iphone it decided to post it
Started my new job today (so very quick log on while I have that usual day 1 down time - won't be long before I'm manic, I know).

tinktellyaddict · 21/07/2010 15:36

ses - glad extension coming along

hi diege - you have been busy!!

smithylovesme · 21/07/2010 17:33

Hi Guys,

Those of you that are my facebook friends know that i sorry we are moving back to the UK in 6 weeks!!! I cant wait.
Will definately have to get back on track with you all, missed my online life
Hope you are all doing good and having fun on the wagon off the wagon.

smithylovesme · 21/07/2010 17:33

Someone please fill me in as to who is on the wagon off the wagon at the moment?

Moosy · 21/07/2010 22:20

Welcome back Smithy! I'm firmly on the wagon and staying put for ever!

If it's not too nosy a question, how come you're moving back, I thought you'd gone there for good? Also did my memory make it up or are you having #4?

smithylovesme · 21/07/2010 23:21

Not nosey. We thought it was for good too and unfortunately it is not. Have been really homesick and lots of things have been happening here that have made the UK a more attractive place to live. I am excited to come back.
I was expecting number 4, but i sadly miscarried, the worst time of my life, but we got through and not sure if we will be trying again. (one of the reason for our return.)
Should of stayed on the thread with you guys cause i know you would of supported me through it, had no support here
Anyways looking to the future hoping to beable to do a meet up with you guys sometime.

smithylovesme · 21/07/2010 23:23

Been here tooooo long keep using "guys"
sorry

Moosy · 22/07/2010 00:03

Oh Smithy I'm so sorry, and sorry your move didn't work out, I hope things are better for you soon. Where will you be living when you get back?

smithylovesme · 22/07/2010 00:15

Thanks Moosy. We are moving to Shrewsbury, Shropshire Mid west?

essenceofSES · 22/07/2010 08:02

Just checking in and wanted to welcome Smithy back!
Sorry your move didn't work out and so sorry for mc. Sounds like you've been having a really rough time of it
Hope your move back goes well and hope your beautiful girls and gorgeous DS are doing well?

I've been trying to push my way off the wagon and have finally jumped. CD9 so gearing up for GOFing. I think I normally ov between CD18 and CD21.

Hope everyone else is well this morning. I'm off to help run a training day now for our annual intake of newly qualified pharmacists. Catch you all later

GruffaloSoldier · 22/07/2010 08:17

Welcome back Smithy! It's good to have you back.

Sorry things didn't work out and so so sorry to hear of your mc I hope the move back goes smoothly!

And yes hopefully you will able to make a meet up soon. I think a central one for everyone is on the cards!

I have been off the wagon for about 4 months now, this is 5th month trying. I am on CD27 I think so I will be testing at the weekend (if I can hold out that long!)

GC woke us early this morning with a temp of 38.5 and was sick after we gave him calpol!he is running round like a lunatic now!

DH got up with him but I found it really hard to go back to sleep.DH is having his lie in now. I hope GC goes for a napsoon as I could do with some more Z's! I am not sleeping great at the moment

We are supposed to be visiting a prospective nursery for October for Zach today! He will go 10 hours spread over 3 sessions while I work nearby. I have heard good things about the nursery so hopefully it will work out for us!

Oh my I have rambled - sorry that the post is a bit "me,me,me" feeling a bit sorry for myself at the mo - just got too much going on!

hello to everyone!

Have a lovely day everyone!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 22/07/2010 12:47

Welcome back smithy! Have been seeing your fb status's so gathered a move was happening! Wuhoo for you! Be nice to have you back! Sorry to hear of your mc, you had no support.

I think you were still about when I had dd2 (dc3) prem last feb... She's had a few development problems over the last 6mths or so but they all seem to be getting ironed out now and although she's now a tiny little 19lb 17mo she's very nearly walking finally! And is getting very vocal too!

I'm also being a surrogate for some friends of ours. CD27, AF due tomorrow, so hopefully we'll be starting ttc over the next fortnight!

Diege- really sorry but haven't got round to posting letters etc from dc's yet. I've been hectic busy but can't think of what with! Please tell your girls I'll get them posted asap!

maxxymoosmummy · 22/07/2010 13:10

hi all, had a very good birthday, my cousins gf had invited me for tea, and not knowingly invited a few more people and did a little buffe style tea :D was really nice enjoyed it lots. thankyou CANT and SES

not been on for while as been busy.
hope everyone is ok.

Diege · 22/07/2010 13:49

Afternoon! Great to have you back SMITHY! - sorry to hear about your mc, and that you didn't have much support .
MMM, so sorry, had missed it was your birthday . That does sound a lovely surprise from your cousin's gf though, and glad you had a nice day
SES, I'm not days away from you this cycle (cd 11) but I have an odd feeling that my cycle is messed up this month. I started taking agnus castus and fear it's actually delaying my ovulation rather than making it earlier...It's cycle 5 for me which I know is nothing, but that will be the longest it's ever been for getting pregnant .Just feeling a bit down about it all at the moment, plus me and dh not getting on that great...(note to self - must be nice for imminent goffing time over next few days )
CANT, don't worry about the letters! I know what you mean, the time just goes, but I am sure they'll be delighted when they do arrive
Big hello to everyone else. I must get something done rather than indulge in caramel wagonwheels as I have been doing this morning (quite appropriate I suppose )

Moosy · 22/07/2010 14:09

Diege, get yourself the Vitamin E (wye eye man etc etc)!

You know 5 months isn't really that long, I hope it happens for you this month

Diege · 22/07/2010 14:16

Thanks MOOS! I had forgotten about SORKY's magic vit E!!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 22/07/2010 14:40

Diege- 5mths is nothing really, and you know that! ;) I'm expecting it to take us a while to get a bfp with insems rather that straight-forward GOFing! Took us 3m to conceive dd2! I'm expecting around 6m this time around.

Seems lots of school's have broken up today! Luckily mine are still there till tomorrow :D

Have lots planned for over the summer, hopefully a trip down south, with a trip to Colchester zoo. Then we're going to a maize maze, chamelot theme park, pics to see toy story 3d... Maybe a trip to Liverpool to meet diege & co, going to watch stock car racing... And also hopefully a trip to Blackpool tower! Think that's enough to bribe them into behaving all summer???!!!

smithylovesme · 22/07/2010 15:38

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome back.
I have been keeping updated on some of your lives on facebook but can't really ask how the GOF is going on there
Just being back on here with you guys makes me want to try again for number 4, but will wait until we are settled back in the UK as i just had the coil put in a month ago.
Hoping it happens soon for you Diege, Gruff and SES fingers crossed for you all.
Also for you can't, you are doing such a amazing thing for your friends.
It is 7.30am here DS got me up at 5.30 and is now fast asleep on the sofa again whilst i am catching up on last nights Big brother (US)and so you think you can dance!
My girls will also be up soon so no chance of me getting anymore ZZZ's.
My girls both have American accents!!! Looking forward to them going to school in September, took DD1 out of school here as it was crap just worried they might be slightly behind.
DS is doing great just started to walk and getting into everything. He does however have to go for a MRI in the next few weeks as his soft spot is still big and head circumference is growing rapidly so they want to check there is no swelling. I wanted to be sure before we flew that there was nothing wrong. I am sure he just has a big head as he is very tall and big hands, feet etc.
Missed you all :O

tinktellyaddict · 22/07/2010 15:39

afternoon

heavy rain here again!!!

Diege · 22/07/2010 16:53

Thanks CANT! I know you're right - I'm just very impatient! Yes, let's try and sort a weekend Liverpool visit, dds would love it!
SMITHY, my ds is also being monitored for his large hc (off the scale) but, like you I'm not too concerned as he's 97th percentile for height and 75th for weight, so think he just has a big head!
TINKS hot sun here now (different picture this morning) so hoping my 3 day old washing will get a chance to dry and not come in smelling of wet dogs

cantmummyhaveabreak · 22/07/2010 18:40

Diege, seems DH might be moving to the Blackpool store after his holiday's, he's off on the 15th aug, then we won't know any other days off till he gets back on the 17th. But hopefully we could make either the 22nd or possibly the 28th, we have plans on the 29th. If it comes to it do you know if underwater street is close enough to the train station? As I could always come on a train and maybe drag my mum along to help with the train.

Diege · 22/07/2010 19:36

Hi CANT - I think either of those 2 dates would be fine with us;I'll check with dh just in case; will be good to get a date in the diary . As regards underwater street it's about 5 mins walk from Limestreet, if I remember correctly, so certainly doable by train

cantmummyhaveabreak · 22/07/2010 21:02

Looks like the 28th might be best for us. So if that's ok for you we'll make it a date.
