HELLO!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
george32 · 27/07/2005 19:36

Look at you chatty guys today!!

Just back from another hellish day at work. Minnie I totally agree, they really should build Mumsnet breaks into the day for preggie ladies.
I'm sooooooooo tired today. Wide awake at 3.00am this morning - Grrr!

Bonkerz, know what you mean about having to go to the loo a lot. I need to go when my bladder has about a teaspoon of wee in it these days!

Loev your idea of a map SH, no idea where you would find one though. That is your mission for the rest of the week to search high & low on the internet for one. Did you get to the gym again to put me to shame?

Right, I'm so tired I'm going to crash in front of the telly & order take-away pizza in for dinner. Oh I'm so turning into Waynetta Slob!!

starrynight · 28/07/2005 08:32

AHA!! I'm the first on. Morning all!

sweetheart · 28/07/2005 09:24

morning!!!

George - yes I did go to the gym, only for 1/2 an hour though!!!

Nemo1977 · 28/07/2005 09:41

morning all

scully · 28/07/2005 09:44

but SH did it mean you didn't go shopping because you were gymming! she says, with all her shopping bags to take home yesterday...
happy to read I'm not the only one who succumbed to having takeaway last night, just could not be bothered cooking once dd was in bed.
As for the loo, I've noticed a change this week, having to go a lot more frequently, difficult when you want to avoid toilets on trains!

sweetheart · 28/07/2005 09:49

scully - no I didn't go shopping yeah - perhaps I've found a way to clear my addiction!!!!

We had pizza for tea last night - I can sympathise with the feeling of "I can't be bothered". I was so tired last night - a day of being bored and doing nothing really drains me!!!

Is anyone else finding they are totally off food at tea time. I seem to be very hungey in the middle of the day but when it comes to dinner I just don't feel hungry.

Nemo1977 · 28/07/2005 10:02

SH i have been off food most of the time and then all of a sudden i get starving. I did a thread last week cos DH kept shouting at me for not eating and when i thought about it I had over 3 days eaten a whole 4 pieces of toast, 1.5eggs in scrambled egg and a pot noodle.

Scully my toilet going has significantly increased the past 2 weeks aswell..including about 4 trips a night...very tireing

scully · 28/07/2005 10:08

surprisingly I'm doing ok for loo trips during the night, maybe because we have a downstairs bathroom and I try hard to avoid getting out of bed.......
we had one of those curry takeaway boxes Sainsbury's do - quite tasty especially as I'm wanting spicey food a lot of the time at the moment.
but could finish it though, definitely hungry at the start of the day but not so much by around 4pm onwards. still snack on something though in the evening, can't have dh eating on his own.....

sweetheart · 28/07/2005 10:24

I eat for the sake of dh and dd too!!! Trouble is if I force too much down I end up with indegestion.

I'd much rather have my evening meal at lunchtime - trouble is it's not very practical with a family!!!

scully · 28/07/2005 11:01

I've thought about having a main meal at lunchtime, but I know that most nights I would still go home and eat another main meal! Need to live alone for that to work
Mind you, I'm quite partial to a bowl of cereal for dinner on the odd occasion, I seem to develop a Weetbix fixation when pregnant.....

sweetheart · 28/07/2005 11:09

HOW WIERD!!!!!

I am totally hooked on Weetabix!!!! Have been having 2 every morning since pregnant!!!!

Thats a bit wierd.

scully · 28/07/2005 11:22

I was the same last time, maybe that's why dd loves them so much now
That is very weird though, maybe it's a Surrey/Hampshire thing!
Thought I'd branch out this week, have moved from the traditional shap to the little ones with fruit in them, quite tastey!

sweetheart · 28/07/2005 11:28

ummmm not to keep on dried fruit!!!

I'm waiting for my cravings to kick in. I've had fancies for cakes and stuff but think thats just me being a fat pig

Last time round I craved vinegar - I used to wat a whole jar of picked onions and then drink the vinegar!!! Needless to say dh wasn't very happy - it resulted in a rather windy bottom

scully · 28/07/2005 11:37

vinegar, can't say I've felt like drinking that
my main things for both pregnancies have been milk, cereal and a sweeter sweet tooth. gone off bread, soup and most red meat. Which means I struggle when I go to our staff restaurant most days at lunchtime......
Got cross at dh last week, I specifically requested a muffin when he went to the coffee shop, and he comes back with a tuna and sweetcorn roll - hello, not even close!

MINNIE1 · 28/07/2005 12:45

Afternoon all,

pizza and tuna are my favs at the mo!! yum

buba was moving around alot yesterday evening!! I look a little freaky cause i was sat there with a huge smile on my face all evening!!!

How are you all today?

starrynight · 28/07/2005 15:06

Pot noodles here- salivating just thinking about it. man, this appalling weather is doing my head in.

sweetheart · 28/07/2005 15:18

scully - never trust a man, thats my moto. What was he thinking. My dh would get a serious ear bashing if he forgot my whimsical craving food!!!

This horrible weather is giving me loads of headaches. I wish it would go away!!!!

goldenoldie · 28/07/2005 18:06

starry - with you on the pot noodles - weather here in London is fab!

bonkerz · 28/07/2005 18:07

Hi girls! What happened today? not in a chatty mood or just busy at work!! Must say was a relief to not have to spend hours catching up!

Had a big stress at the doctors yesterday! Rang them to find out results and told not back yet so asked them to chase them up. About an hour later got a call from a doctor who said results were inconclusive and i had to do another test so called in to pick up bottle and out of curiosity asked what inconclusive meant and was told results had been lost!! Broke down then and luckily mu husbands wonderful diabetic nurse came over and chatted with me. She listened and asked symptoms and went off and came back with anti biotics!! Told me that the 3 doctors i have been seeing are all on holiday and the doctor i had spoke to hadnt even realised i was pregnant and had had 2 pv bleeds!! So im back on the pills and did another test today and my docs are back next week so should finally get some PROPER care again!!

On a plus side i feel huge and had 2 pitta egg pockets for lunch YUM YUM!!!! Belly is now rumbling which it hasnt done for ages!!

Freds wiggling and kicking around and i am loving it! Just spent even more money on stuff for fred!! Need top stop buying till after scan cos dont want to have all white IYKWIM!!!!

starrynight · 28/07/2005 18:35

we have had a few rays of sun so feeling an incy wincy bit better - and a Nice and Spicy pot noodle downstairs is also cheering me up no end.

Anyone thinking of moving during/shortly after the pg? Our mortgage is crippling and we are thinking of trying to move to a cheaper house - I did move from Herts to Leicester when i was 7.5 months pg with no.2 so done it before but not relishing the idea.

Oh, and DD2 wants a kitten. Does it ever end?

starrynight · 28/07/2005 18:35

Bonkerz - I hope your infection clears up. Are you having any more symptoms?

sweetheart · 28/07/2005 19:28

it's happened - mumsnet has spilled over into my home life!

Bonkerz, thats terrible that you've been treated so crap - I'd complain if I were you!!!

Starry, we moved house when I was 5 months pregnant with dd - it's great, I'd highly recommend it. It's the only time you get to move house without lugging boxes and furniture. Much less stressful than this time round when I was humping stuff around!!!

starrynight · 28/07/2005 19:30

If i'm not humping then we get 8 rooms worth of stuff in the living room and it takes forever to sort out. I have told DH in no uncertain terms that when we move again - a packing and moving company will be involved!

sweetheart · 28/07/2005 19:38

oh brilliant!!!

Friends of ours recently used a moving company that came in and packed for you too - think it was an extra £100 for the packing service which I thought was a bargain!!!

MINNIE1 · 29/07/2005 08:50

Morning all,

Bonk, [[[hugs]]]] and that you get looked after next week.

How are we all today?
