DP thinks i am huge but i think i small and baby is low. Felt a really hard lump in my belly last night would that have been the baby kicking??

Could have been an elbow? Or your uterus could have been contracting (braxton hick) which just means it all goes hard. I'm getting tonnes of them. Did it happen after sex?

Yes Yes... God thats amazing.. its happened twice now (where my belly goes hard)It only gets better. Cant wait to tell DP not that he has a clue what i do be on about half the time, lol

Minnie, I often get hard areas of my belly and now baby is that bit bigger I can tell that it's because he's laying up against the wall of my tummy. Sometimes I can even feel if it's his bum, head etc etc.

If it was after sex then it's your uterus hardening as having as orgasm makes your uterus contract - which is why it's good to bring on labour.

Will be doing my TP measurement at about 2pm. I don't think I will have grown as baby is still sitting quite low down!!!

Just had a quick scan through the March thread and it looks like there should be an April thread appearing soon - YEAH!!! I love to keep an eye on these things, it makes me feel so much further along!!!! Come 4th Aug (just over 1 week ) I will only have 4 months to go - that sounds so much shorter than 5/6 months

gosh s/h youre steaming ahead! sometimes i can feel a 'pressure' -like if you rolled your fist against your hand- across the front of my belly, so I know belly bean must be at the front, but usually he is way tucked down, and all my bump is, is soft! oh thankgoodness everyones getting braxton hicks too, I thought it was just me and thought they were early too!
starry birth centre sounds lovely, we too gave up home birth idea due to childcare and christmas, plus couldnt bear the thought of having to wake them and drag them thro cold night to babysitters at say 3am christmas day!!! much better to leave them alseep and just 'go and have a baby'! i am going to be in my midwife lead unit, -no drs, no medical lights or equipment, (unless of course you suddenly need it and then its just down stairs and can be whisked up)
will soon get birthing ball, because after a certain stage in pg I cant sit comfy anywhere aside from on one of these love 'em!!

SH it does seem like time is flying past now..first few weeks horirble and now am nearly 5mths pg

We have organised for my sister and to come and stay and look after DS while i am in labour. She is 19 and a law student so will be off all the xmas which is fab. Anyways not been feeling well today nose blocked and feeling bleugh so much so i havent even got dressed...lol

Well, I've just measured and I'm still 8.5 squares - although I'm feeling quite releaved not to have grown.

I've just been into Next to return some of the sale stuff I brought and the woman that served me was pregnant. I asked her how far gone she was and she said nearly 6 months she was tiny I didn't mention her belly incase she was just a bit porky!!!

I didn't like to tell her I was only 4.5 months pregnant and at least twice the size of her!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear you not feeling well Nemo - you've probably caught what your ds had last week!!!!

I haven't got any holiday now until my maternity leave I wish it was 12th November now!!!

We have got a holiday booked to the south of France but it's not until May 2006!!!!! Seems such a long way off.

Did the TP and i am 7 1/2, Bloody hell i thought i was bigger. Little by little i am getting there! DP thinks i am huge and is worried in case i cant walk in a couple of months!!! I feel like i could topple over to one side right now not to mind a couple of months.

Time is flying though, the first 3 months were hell but i feel like buba will be here in no time!!!

DP is going to look at a car for me tomor (i'm all excited) I have a 2dr at the mo and once buba is born i will need to expand! the only thing is will i be able to handle a big car!! know me and my hormones i wont be able to get out the front gate!!! and if i do i'll take it with me!

LOL minnie, I was exactly the same, dh got me a brand new huge car, and I loved it on the test drive, website etc.........when it arrived i wouldnt drive it at all!! took me about a week at least to even attempt it have got to say men are quite right tho, its just the same as driving a smaller one once you get used to it.

Sh, can't believe you can feel bits of your baby. I'm so . Still not a wriggle from mine. I'm doing lots of jumping & playing loud music but still nothing. Oh well maybe soon.

DP is big in to cars so i really am afraid what he will show me!!! He is not aloud to buy a car without showing me first!!! I will tattoo that to his head!!!
I walked the dog up the road this evening and came back again i was afraid people would see my bump!!! Dont know why because its not like its going to get smaller or anything..

I am so like you!! Start to type and rust to do somthing in the office! All i can say is do they not understand that were pregnant and NEED to be on MN for our working hours!!!

morning all, just a quick post cos am busy busy!

Am having really bad trouble sleeping now! Fred seems to find the most awkward place to sleep and it makes me feel really unconfortable, any tips? Have bought extra pillows etc but i am used to sleeping on my tummy!!

Measured with TP and im chuffed cos ive gone up 3/4 of a square in a week! My old stratch marks are now reappearing!! WHOPPEEEEE although weighed myself and lost the lb i put on and another

No news from docs regarding infection so have to ring again today. Doppler is being used loads and had to get some more gel!! Fred is astounding me about where he is each time!! Moving higher and higher then next day be right down low. Also feels like fred has taken to sleeping ON my bladder cos im up 5 times a night weeing!!
