Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
dramaqueen72 · 15/07/2005 18:51

oh thomcat I'm sorry! i hope she can see you saturday and reassure you. hang in there!! I now dont see my midwife til aug31st!!! I feel neglected not really but you know, such a change from when its your first and they see you often.

everybody- thankyou for kind words about stupid pain, thing is when its not here I am 100% fine, and when it comes (without warning) it lasts 15-30minutes before fading.
last pg I got it when in hospital for nonstress tests (due to lack of movement!! can we see a pattern in my babies here!!) and the whole ward thought I was in labour its that kinda roll about the floor pain
am drinking HUGE amounts of water in effort to help it never ever come back, and also for low blood pressure. s/h will go to dr if it returns, incase they can help this time.

bonkerz losing weight? er.......no, but was relived to find i hadnt actually stacked on a huge amount in the first 3 mths as i thought i must of.........now refuse to get back on scales until , oh I dont know, 2007? golden you eat all you want girl, -twins!!!!!!thought still scares me some!! you'll need huge amounts of energy. eat some choc for me

babygibbon, I'm impressed with all your studying and knowledge. hope you can find time to get on here too, we miss you! and eys we are ALL after a diamond for this pg

george, ffs!!!, do you keep having to have breaks and treats? so unfair!!!!!!!!!!!! have a fab time you cow (in the nicest poss way of course!) am hanging on to fact aug 12th (our holiday) is not a long time away.

ninah, oh no poorly ds! hope hes okay and you get to beach again, sounds heavenly, miss beach since moving from right next to it to here (mmm, grimy docks, lovely)

nemo, hun take it easy and hope tummy better asap.
have a good evening ladies

dramaqueen72 · 15/07/2005 18:54

oh yes, steam sterilliser (sounds like yours scully) was what i used last time (even when bfing) and will use again, for a few months at least. then dishwasher will do fine
and george, yes hair v glamerous thanks was most pampered at hairdressers

starrynight · 15/07/2005 18:54

Oh poor you TC. I hope she comes round and everything is fine.

WRT BP - I know some women who had consistantly high readings at check ups but were monitoring their own BP at home when it was fine. Apparently either the eqt at the Drs was not working properly or they were getting stressed out being there. Either way they were all fine in the end.

Don't know if that helps as I don't know why we are talking about it - I skipped a couple of days of the thread as the heat was really Fcking me off and I was moping about the plac.e

starrynight · 15/07/2005 18:56

I wanna go to the hairdressers and on holiday...moan moan

dramaqueen72 · 15/07/2005 18:56

starry no moping by yourself, come here and mope online we missed you! and i started whole blood pressure thingy off by having 'very low' (according to midwife) pressure.

starrynight · 15/07/2005 19:01

Ooh, what was it?

dramaqueen72 · 15/07/2005 19:04

um.98? over .um......60?.dont have notes to hadn, and time before i think was 100 over 68? or somtehing like that. nothing really drastic I believe.

starrynight · 15/07/2005 19:07

Oh dammit I can't remember what mine was... about 130/70 or 60 ish. This BP thing confuses the life out of me.

starrynight · 15/07/2005 19:08

Have you lot seen the links to the discounts on wooden garden furniture at B & Q? Fecking brilliant discounts here

dramaqueen72 · 15/07/2005 19:09

hence me feeling faint alot.. had abit of scary might faint moment at top of escalator too which scared me silly. but there we go, cant 'fix' blood pressure being low and am grateful for it not being high of course.

starrynight · 15/07/2005 19:27

How do they raise blood pressure? Drugs, I suppose.

3kids · 15/07/2005 20:22

Just looked at the b & q link stupid question but does the slides etc come with it?

starrynight · 15/07/2005 20:47

yes, I think its the whole thing.

3kids · 15/07/2005 20:51

That's what i thought just can't believe the prices are so cheap!

dramaqueen72 · 15/07/2005 20:54

starry, not sure about lowering it, think they just keep letting me faint.........
I am so hungry. always. may end up size of bus at this rate. do you think the babys eating some of it at least?

starrynight · 15/07/2005 21:03

Am sure it is DQ :~)

I put on 4.5 stone with my first (!!) which was a lot considering I was only 8 stone to begin with !!! But I have since realised that 12.5 stone is my ideal full term pg weight as I always end up there wherever I start - starting at 10.5 stone this time so hopefully only put on a couple of stone.

We should guess what weight we think our babies would be then see after if we're close (or the sex if we don't know it).

dramaqueen72 · 15/07/2005 21:07

all my babies have been 7lbs something so guessing this guy will be ohhhhhhhhh,.. 7lbs6?
feeling 'boy' too, but not finding out.
what about you?

starrynight · 15/07/2005 21:14

I reckon 9lb (think it will be the biggest) and hmmm..............boy (total and utter guess I have no inkling!) born on Christmas Day (wouldn't that be fun!)

starrynight · 15/07/2005 21:15

We should get a list of these for future comparison

I better get off to watch BB now and stop searching for holidays.

Nemo1977 · 15/07/2005 21:40

starrynight
ds was 9lb 1 and i keep getting told 2nd baby will be bigger altough ds was 15days late and i will be trying everything not to go soooooo over this time. SO my weight guess will be 9lb 2 and another boy i feel like although hopefully find out in few weeks.

goldenoldie · 16/07/2005 08:51

Starry - I recon on two 6lb babies. My son was 9lb, but I don't think I will get anywhere near that with these two - despite how fat I already am.

Thomcat · 16/07/2005 14:51

Hi girls. Hope you're ok in this heat. I've got my mums 60th birthday this afternoon and into evening, it's gonna be a HUGE one. All 5 of her brothers will be there, one flew over from las Vegas, one we'll propbably never see agin after this party, all the cousins, friends of the family and so on, about 65 of us round at there's.

And I'm happy cos I heard the heart beat this morning and nothing can youch me now.
Just been shopping abd bought a pair of cut down maternity denim shorts for my holiday on Wednesday and then we're off to the big chill festival soon after we get back.

Feeling good again. hope you are all too.
Big love - TC x

starrynight · 16/07/2005 18:45

No, I am getting some kind of cold/bug. eugh. My DD2 has been vomiting non-stop since yesterday morning which is making me feel really sick, and I think i'm getting it.

Anyway, glad you are having a good time TC.

dramaqueen72 · 16/07/2005 23:29

oh ugh starry hope it passes you by.
tc, sounds great; party, holiday, more parties.. what a life! have fun!!
have dd1's birthday party tomorrow -wish me luck guys 11 yr olds can be scary- so spent day baking and organising that. hot and cranky that was me!
think felt baby move tonight, but only 75% sure hoping big kicks come about soon.
I am PARANOID this baby isnt growing as it should be, -wish there was some way we could compare bumps here (aside from tp tuesday of course) I actually might send doppler back soon as the heart beat always being low down is one of my major reasons for worrying right now. if its not baby up here by/above my belly button whats all this bump!????????? not chocolate surely..........

bonkerz · 17/07/2005 09:26

Morning ladies!

When will our paranoia stop? When is the last date of all the 20 week scans then? Mine isnt till 24th August and i will be 22 weeks by then!! Im not the last am i??

Am religiously taking my anti biotics and am starting to feel better finally. Thrush isnt so itchy but am still swollen! Will i ever feel normal down there again??

Back to work tomorrow and am minding 6 kids (inc my own) for 2 weeks so im sure that will be fun! Lots of trips to parks i think!!

fred sits under my belly button most of the time now and its feels like im going over a hump really fast in the car! Strange feeling and he did it while i was shopping yesterday just giggled all the way round asda! MAD WOMAN ALERT!!

Am eating alot better but still have lost 2lbs since thursday!! Dont really want to start putting ON weight BUT cant help panicking abit!! I didnt start putting on weight till i was 6 months pregnant with ds but then i had given up work by then and was spending my days in bed!!
