Nothing going on here am meeting friend in the park later to let tots run wild. I havent felt baby moving for ages now but obviously all ok cos heartbeat is strong and it is along my right side by my belly button.
Hope u are all enjoying ur weekend

Thomcat · 17/07/2005 10:47

Morning girls.
Hope you're feeling better Starry, you poor thing. Sending you healing vibes.

DQ - hope you have a fab day today, hope you all do. Let us know how you get on.

Our party last night went really, really well. I had such a great night.

All 5 of my uncles had at least one of their kids there so I got to see loads of my cousins. still loads I didn't see as they live in Australia and so forth but loads I saw that hacven't seen since my nan's funeral 9 years ago so that was fab.

It just flowed brilliantly. My PIL came, my best friends and their boyfriends, all my mums lovley friends, loads and loads of family inc my cousin and his new bub by all the way from N.Devon and my step family from the wirral, so loads of effort.
There were some lovley toasts and speeches, kids playing wonderfully together. My eldest cousin is well into their 50's and my youngest cousin is 2 and 3/4's! So the little cousin and Lottie played so beautifully together it was so, so cute.

Back round there today for some more laughs. My uncles all stayed over the night and they make me laugh so much they all sit round telling stories and they are wonderful men. My best friend is staying with us at the moment as she's split up with her man and although it'sad I love, love, love having her here

Love to you all and your bumps.

Morning ladies.

We had a lovely weekend in the sunshine. Went to the wedding yesterday which was beautiful. Stayed much later than we should have and danced our socks off so I'm feeling a little bleery eyed this morning!!!

I'm going to dd's first school sports day later this afternoon which I'm really looking forward to.

I was 20 week yesterday YEAH FINALLY HALF WAY !!!!! and I've got my scan on Wednesday which is the first one that I'm actually looking forward to.

DQ - my baby is still really low down too. I have a very large bump but it's definatly not baby I'm sure if there is anything to worry about they will tell me on Wednesday so I'll pass on any info I get. However I had a scan less than 2 weeks ago and they didn't say anything about it being low down then.

Feeling very smiley today - all is good with the world

sweetheart · 18/07/2005 10:32

Blimey it's quiet here today!!! Where has everyone gone

sweetheart · 18/07/2005 10:33

ohhh, had another wierd dream last night - and this one I've had before.

Keep dreaming that I have the baby early and forget all about mat leave. Have been dreaming that I come into work straight after having the baby and then remembering I should be at home

It's all getting a bit strange!!!

dramaqueen72 · 18/07/2005 10:46

s/h glad all is good with your world nice feeling huh? and yes please ask about baby being low down re size of bump/placement of heartbeat etc, then I can ease my mind so what. really need to stop worrying but cant!
sounds like a good weekend had by all, party for 10/11yrs went well tho I was shattered and my feet puffed up from standing up most of the afternoon, but good fun.

dramaqueen72 · 18/07/2005 10:47

weird dreams sound the norm right now, mine are all a mix of ebay (last site I'm usually on before bed) and harry potter (what I'm currently reading!)with babies thrown in!! they freak me out often!

sweetheart · 18/07/2005 11:15

DQ,

Just for your reasurrance and mine I've started a thread

here

I'll ask about the position on Wednesday but this might give us some info in the meantime and help put your mind at rest.

dramaqueen72 · 18/07/2005 11:17

thanks sweetheart, v good idea

scully · 18/07/2005 11:28

hiy all sounds like everyone had a nice weekend! We had 2 bbq's at home and dd had her paddling pool out so spent the whole time outside, very enjoyable weather for this Australian! I must be one of the few pregnant people who isn't bothered by the heat so far, hayfever is my main hassle still, but it has improved.
Saw my midwife again on Friday, heard the heartbeat for the first time which was great. Took her a while to find it though, as she kept finding mine instead. Bump is also still quite low, although my overall bump is much larger than last time. Still haven't managed the tp thing, but I can tell I've got bigger in the last couple of weeks by my inability to now close the kitchen window (need to lean across the sink for this!)

Nemo1977 · 18/07/2005 12:06

morning all...or afternoon. NOt been on this morning as have been up all night with ds who has been throwing up he is currently asleep in our bed which is on its 3rd set of clean bedding and his has been changed twice so as u can guess the house stinks of sick which is making me feel extremely nauseas. Feel sorry for him cos hes been trying to play an be nice etc but has lost the sparkle in his eye..bless.
Still not felt baby moving much past week but i know its ok so not stressing.
hope u all have a lovely day im off to do another load of washing..lol

Tania2 · 18/07/2005 12:27

Hi girls just popping in to say Hi to Sweetheart and Bonkerz if you guys remember me from the ttc theads. just checking in to see if you are both doing well. Sorry Bonkerz about the thrush nothing worse .
Well iam 21 weeks now and we found out we are having a girl. Our DS was right all along and he has named her Lilydale after the suburb we live in (in Australia) so we have come to like Lilly at this stage.
Again iam glad to see you girls are doing well and i will try to pop in now and then and see how you are going.
Take care and belly rubs all round.
LOL Tania

sweetheart · 18/07/2005 12:32

Tania,

Hi, great to hear from you - are you over on the November thread??? I'm only a little way behind you. 20 wk + 1 That 1 makes all the difference!!!

It's great to hear that you are doing well. There are quite a few of us old ttc'ers around. Tex111 is expecting now too isn't she.

Will have to pop over to Nov if your there and have a peek

sweetheart · 18/07/2005 12:34

Tania, It was you that was taking the herbal type approach to ttc wasn't it?!?!?! Seems so long ago now. Blimey, just relised it's over a year ago!!!

Tania2 · 18/07/2005 12:57

Yes Sweetheart i was seeing a fertility natrapath but sadly after tests at xmas time we found out that my tubes were serverly blocked and we had to do IVF.Luckly we fell pg first go but we had lots of dramas once i got the BFP. Had a scan at 6ish weeks to be told there was no heartbeat but luckly 5 days later another scan showed a heartbeat thank god.
Yes it was such a long time ago i think i started chatting here back in April last year along with BeckiF. It really seems so long ago now doesnt it?

sweetheart · 18/07/2005 13:03

Yes, I remember - always felt like ti was never too far away for you!!!! So sorry to hear you've had a hard time, it's horrible isn't it. I lost a baby boy in January so can sympathise with the horror's involved.

Noticed Tex111 is on the Nov thread - she's about 23/24 weeks now.

Have you heard anything of BeckiF at all - she dropped off the thread I seem to remember.

I am still in touch with Runtus - she is still ttc. She's having an operation tomorrow to remove cysts from her ovaries, bless her - she's really been through it.

Tania2 · 18/07/2005 13:13

I havent heard anything about BeckiF but it has been a while since i have been here. Last i heard she was thinking of IVF.
I remember the horror you went through back in January so glad you are now pg again.
Oh yes runtus i do remember her was she doing clomid??? I think i pretty much cycled the whole time with her too. Send her my love and hope her op goes well are they doing a full clean out and checking her tubes? It might well help her.
I see that Hula is still ttc i must pop in and say hi to her also.
Hay iam only 1 week behind you iam 21w+1d iam due on the 27th Nov the day after DS 3rd birthday.

sweetheart · 18/07/2005 15:24

Wow - looks like your in for a busy week Tania!!! And with xmas just round the corner too!!!

Yes 1 week apart. Thats quite funny isn't it. I'm due 4th Dec.

I tried to search the archives for the old ttc threads but they seem to have gone - I guess it is a while ago now. I'll pass your best wishes onto Runtus. I'm sure she'll be pleased to hear your news.
Take care of you and that bump and hopefully I'll chat to you again soon. xxx

bonkerz · 18/07/2005 18:08

First day of summer holidays here and im stressed!
Am minding 5 children who have all been great today BUt my ds has been a nightmare! How am i gonna get through the week!!
Am in a pickle cos have been sick for 2 days (still ms i think) and havent managed to keep down my anti biotics. Do you think i should ring doctor or just perservere with meds till fri and wait to see if they have helped?
Am starting to feel normal again down below and am no longer itchy which is great!
Ended up changing from trousers into an elasticated waist skirt today cos trousers were massive at back but really tight and uncomfortable round the bump!!!
Am off for a lie down now cos am knackered and i need to listen to fred cos havent had a chance to feel him move today!

george32 · 19/07/2005 09:33

Hello everyone, hope you are all OK today.
Bonkerz, don't envy you with 5 children today. I hope you aren't overdoing things.

I had a lovely weekend down in Cornwall. I feel thoroughly spoiled now.

Don't forget its TP Tuesday. I have a good feeling today, I have several cornish pasties lurking in my tummy to expand things!!

dramaqueen72 · 19/07/2005 11:49

morning ladies
nice to have you back george. tp tuesday indeed, will do that later.
is anyone else emotional? i am terrible lately, tears over stupid stupid things. and every other emotion totally OTT (jealousy, madly happy, low as ever, rage, ETC!!)really geting bad, how ridiculous.

kangel · 19/07/2005 13:30

Hi all,

DQ - I am also very over the top pathetically emotional!!! I thought it only happened at the beginning of pg so I thought it was everything getting on top of me! I guess not and its all hormones still. DP constantly treading on egg shells! Know what you mean about 1 minute being happy and the next down in the dumps, am down in the dumps today and have no idea why!

And its Holby City night tonight which means more tears and panic - but can't stop watching it, sometimes we are our own worst enemies!!

Thomcat · 19/07/2005 13:34

DQ - yes yes yes to emothions/hormones.
I cried more than my mum when her bf made a speech and just the look on my mums face at soem of the cards she got made me cry before I'd read whjat was in them!!!
I was low and snappy last night for no reason, then singing and being mad as a hatter this morning.
Now I'm justy plain stressed at work so must dash.

From Wednesday evening you won't see me for a couple of weeks as will be on my holidazeee so take care of yourselves.
Lots a love - TC xx

george32 · 19/07/2005 13:37

Really quiet on here today.
Yes, I'm very over emotional at the moment plus I'm being really dim. Keep coming out with bizarre statements & I struggle to speak as what I want to say keeps dropping out of my head!!

kangel · 19/07/2005 13:47

I am soooooo glad you mention the speach thing! I too am having trouble actually getting the words out of my mouth and am feeling really dim! On the other hand I am also telling everyone the same thing over and over again like I've never told them before!! DP just gives me sympathetic looks now and ignores me then when he thinks I can't see he goes off and sniggers to himself!! Colleagues also ignore me now and just let me get on with it!

It is funny though and beats the tearful side!! However filling up an electric kettle and lighting it on a gas hob is slightly worrying oh and putting socks in the kitchen bin instead of the washing basket!

Anyone else? Post funny stories that will perk us all up and give us all a laugh!
