Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
starrynight · 29/06/2005 21:41

And Minnie - not in my case but we are all different! we are both too knackered for any of that carry on (come back to me when you are on no.4! LOL)

starrynight · 29/06/2005 21:43

You guys won't believe this - i have done something very rash. I have put a bid in on a buggy on ebay that I have never even seen or tried out & without telling DH. Yikes!! What if I win??

starrynight · 29/06/2005 21:49

Bonkerz - i'm not sure about the notes thing. You can write to your old hospital and ask for a copy. I can dig out the instructions on how to do that if you like. I think the service in Leicester only looks at births that have taken place at either of the hospitals. Not 100% sure though so worth a try.

Threat of emergency CS not nice, especially after failed induction . Can't really offer any advice on this one - its up to you at the end of the day. Though as I said earlier, I begged, cried and almost fainted trying to get a CB but at the Royal they were having none of it as there was no medical reason and they practically chucked me out...so good luck!

If you want to talk about your first birth I could put my NCT hat on and be a listening post - non-judgementally. Let me know.

bonkerz · 29/06/2005 22:03

thanks starrynight, may take you up on that. Im having this baby at george elliot in nuneaton so not sure what line they take on elective cs yet.
I just have so many worries and current emotional state not great either which isnt helping, feel it would be the best option for a wimp like me who would hate to be induced again and go through the haze of drug induced labour, again.

bonkerz · 29/06/2005 22:19

I LOVE MY DOPPLER

Just listened in on fred bubbling around and got the strongest heartbeat yet! My doppler is worth every penny, i love my doppler and fred! So emotional was crying with joy while dh just sat listning and said yeah its good! MEN

dramaqueen72 · 30/06/2005 08:19

you know starry, maybe one day (making no rash prommises with toddler and baby!)I would love to do that course sounds lovely, and youre perk is of course, being an important lady to all those pg ones!
thanks nemo, weird hormones recently, making me feel 'something is wrong'. i tried to tell dh but he was all'youre not bleeding, theres a heartbeat, you look pg -youre fine' and hes right i prob am, its just a 'funk' i have got in i think. will try to shake it off.
minnie, yes second trimester hormones are know to make you abit frisky however like starry the idea is often there but the flesh is very weak in my case
bonkerz, v glad fred is still happy inthere and the doppler is bringing you such joy.
nemo, uhuh, tell me about toddlers and split personalities of theirs!!!!! but dont get me started on how all men think sahm do nothing and are v lucky to be able to 'sit around all day and just play'
