Well found out this morning that I am pg!! 3 weeks and 4 days so pretty early days yet though!

Been trying for a fair while but first month using OPKs so would highly recommend them.

Will introduce myself anyway - dh and I both 26 with a 17 month old ds. Am so excited to be pg again even though it was a bit of a rough ride last time around!

Hi everyone, sneaked over for a look from the Feb 06 post.

I am so so sorry to hear of your news mumtosomeone and although it probably won't ease your pain now I just have to add that I have had 2 early mcs this year, my last being march and then I fell pregnant again in May. I am now just over 13 weeks, had an early bleeding scare with this pregnancy and keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of the term but wanted to say that anything's possible so keep your chin up and I wish you all the luck in the world xxx

Cadmum · 09/08/2005 13:18

mumtosomeone: I am SO sorry. Take care of yourself and your little people. We are all here if you need to chat/vent.

Mumtosomeone

Just popped in to catch up v quickly on news and saw your post. I am so sorry . Please take care of yourself.

To everyone else I am fine. Alarmed at how large I am - 10 weeks tomorrow and counting. Scan on 23 Aug - two weeks to go. Morning sickness still there but less severe.

Hope all of you are well.

newgirl · 09/08/2005 14:42

Hello Mumtosomeone

I was just joining in and read your posts - I am so sorry - your news made me cry.

To everyone - Hello I am 10 weeks pg and due March 12th. I have a 3 year old and am very excited although not pleased that my trousers are too tight. I would recommend though that the sales are all on and Next has some bargain jeans if you want to stock up in advance!

I was feeling very smug in my first two months and now I feel sick as a dog and was so tired last night that I missed big brother. I find that chelsea buns are very good for morning/afternoon/evening sickness yum yum

Take care everyone

luckylady · 09/08/2005 17:08

desperatehousewife · 09/08/2005 18:34

I've got brown d'charge again..... Had it at 6 weeks and now again at 9. what is my body doing? This didn't happen when preg with DS. Got to wait another 3 weeks for 12 week scan. Am quite scared again.

munz · 09/08/2005 18:43

dhw - try to relax, in my bumff from the m/w it says that if there's any discomfort/red bleeding go straight ot the dr, could u give ur m/w a quick tinkle if you're really concerned? hopefully it's nothing to worry about thou. (((hugs)))

cadmum - still thinking of u and waiting anxiously for u to come back.

NG - hiya and wecome, what a fab time of march to be having a baby! (my b'day is the 13th and i'm due the 11th! yay!)

Hi to newgirl

Rosieposie, strange you should mention that, I thought I felt something as well yesterday evening in fact, but told myself it was far too early.....

Hope everyone else is feeling ok today, sickness not too bad here today, hopeing its on its way out!

mumtosomeone · 10/08/2005 07:16

just saying good lick to you all . I have no right to be on this thread now so enjoy your pregnancies and chat soon!

mumtosomeone · 10/08/2005 07:27

good luck not good lick!!!

munz · 10/08/2005 10:21

m2s - yes I was that way with DH, mainly cos I thought he didn't care we'd lost out baby, and he wasn't htere when he needed me (or so I thougth) anyhow the short of it was neither of us handled things v well and delt with it seperatly instead of together. hopefully you and your DH will keep talking and come thru this stronger. good luck thou.

dhw - I'd go mad as well if it wasn't for this site!

newgirl · 10/08/2005 11:21

I think Good Lick is quite nice! Sounds like a puppy.

A friend just told me protein snacks are good for sickness not just carbs. So I'm off to eat lots of cheese with my chelsea buns.

munz · 10/08/2005 11:57

protein snacks - ooh what yummy stuff has protein in it? (I've started having cheese sandwiches at lunch with lettice and cue which seems to be v filling and also settles my tum down well.

Lizzylou · 10/08/2005 12:17

HI all,
Hope you are all OK, have been off the computer for a few days.
So sorry about your news Mumtosomeone....
Feeling OK, just very vacant and tired, and sick if I don't eat.
Had an ordeal at a hen do this weekend where all I wanted to do was sleep, not watch the "Hen" do tequila body shots off unsuitable men in packed, skanky bars! Would have loved it normally, but it's not the same with a bottle of J2O in your hand!

RosiePosie · 10/08/2005 12:23

Hi newgirl, welcome.

Well, I think the sickness is easing a little. I would give it a rating of 8/10 before, where as now I reckon it's about 4/10! Don't want to count my chickens too soon though. I've heard protein mixed with complex carbohydrates is the way to go - and it certainly seems to do the trick for me. Bacon sandwiches! Or basically any meat sandwiches. I've been getting ready roasted chickens from Sainsbury's and just picking at it throughout the day. Sounds revolting doesn't it! And real old fashioned comfort food - I made a cottage pie yesterday and it went down a treat - I'm usually not bothered at all. I'm eating the leftover's today.

majormoo · 10/08/2005 12:27

last time I was preggars 2 of my best friends got married so I had a summer of sober hen do's-it's just not quite the same being stone cold sober when everyone else is plastered!!

munz · 10/08/2005 12:32

oh LL poor u, I assume you've told your friends?

RP - oh I love cottage pie - mum did me one last week, but I was struggalin to eat it would have normally wolffed it down! lol, at the minute I'm having to eat v small mouthfuls v slowly in order for it to not make me feel sick!

Lizzylou · 10/08/2005 12:50

I had to tell them all on Saturday when we were sat outside a bar at 2pm! Instead of hitting the white wine with the rest of em, I ordered a J2O (VERY unlike me!) so I had to fess up! Luckily my Best friend is 25 weeks and we were sharing a room anyway, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been! The hotel was a cr*phole tho and was the place where all the hen and stag dos stayed, so we got no sleep (altho we were guessing who had pulled from the door knocking and giggles going on!!!). It wasn't half as bad as I expected tho, and I liked laughing at the drunken girlies and felt smug the next day when I was up for brekkie nice and early!

swiperfox · 10/08/2005 17:00

Hellooooooo!!!! Can i join you?! I'm apparently dues on april 11th but will ba having a CS so that will bring me into the end of March - does that count?!

It's very early days yet and to be honest i'm still in shock!!!!

Lizzylou · 10/08/2005 17:02
