Well found out this morning that I am pg!! 3 weeks and 4 days so pretty early days yet though!

Been trying for a fair while but first month using OPKs so would highly recommend them.

Will introduce myself anyway - dh and I both 26 with a 17 month old ds. Am so excited to be pg again even though it was a bit of a rough ride last time around!

Hi all just a quick post to say hello hope your all ok, haven't had chance to read thru the thread yet, as so tired, have had a lovely weekend camping in wales, felt not even slightly sick until I got home tonight, so it must have been all the fresh air making me better, ho hum eh!

mumtosomeone · 08/08/2005 06:28

munz · 08/08/2005 09:09

morning girls, well i've treid to catch up by skimming the posts, but will probably leave someone out.

friz - where did u go in wwales? I'm finding my sickness is worse here than it is in the city! lol.

M2S - good luck today at the EPU still hopeful for you.

RP - glad you found ur heart beat and everything's ok.

BB - how r u feeling now babe? not too rough still I hope.

OOE - I have to eat 'proper' food as well, bread and carbs etc..

well i've decided today as i've not put on an ounce of weight my fat's re distributed it's self, althou none of the fmaily mentioned i'd looked fatter i'm 9+3 today sickness comes and goes normally around 9.30 so I have a bit of toast and then lunch dead on 12 or i'm sicky then tea at 5 pm or again sicky, then supper at 9 - god i'm eating loads really. anyhow M/W apt next tues can't wait, this is our first one. was a bit worried on sat as I had some really bad papins in my pelvic area (mainly a dull ache type) and tearing feeling, but wasn't sure if that could be wind of not, no bleeding/spotting thou so i'm assuming everythings ok. still worried thou they'll find nothing at the scan or a beanie which is v small. also had a horrid dream that there was something worng with beanie, althou mum things this is anxieties.

hope everyone's doing OK.

baggybear · 08/08/2005 10:16

Morning ladies!! How are you all this morning?

M2S1 - I hope everything goes okay for you today. I'm thinking of you xx

Munz - I'm feeling better now. I'm sure it was morning sickness coz i'm still feeling a bit grotty. I seems to come and go - some days i feel fine 99% of the time, but other days i am actually sick a few time and still don't feel better Never mind, its all part and parcel I spose.

Anyway, i'm not going to moan about feeling sick anymore. I think i'm getting off lightly compared to some. If sickness is all i am going to have trouble with then thats fine by me.

I hope everyone is getting on okay today. And I hope those of you that aren't having the easiest ride are feeling too bd today. I wish you all lots of luck and you are in my thoughts xxx

baggybear · 08/08/2005 10:18

That last post went a bit wierd (got a bit emotional, sorry) Meant to say " hope those of you that aren't having the easiest of rides aren't feeling too bad today". Sorry

munz · 08/08/2005 10:18

well girls last week I was moanin about lack of sickness and how I was sure I imagioned being PG< now i'm back at work the sickness is back with a vengance, even a packet of crisps hasn't helped today. and i've no ginger ale upstairs.

Jackstini · 08/08/2005 10:35

Morning girls - hope you all had a relaxing weekend.

Munz - I have actually lost weight but know what you mean about re-distribution!
Coppertop - I also have a bump (only actually 9+4)
BB - my MIL also mentioning twins!! down to my size I think. However I have got at least another 3 weeks til my scan so trying not to think about..
Marne - how did the step-kids take it?
RP - how exciting hearing your doppler working for the first time! Am definately going to get one now
Told my boss on Friday - reaction was exactly as I expected 2 second look of 'horror, sh*t, ohmygod etc' followed by a gulp and "congratulations, was it planned?!" Can understand his panic - I work for a US company and am only employee covering UK. Sure we will work something out though

Jackstini · 08/08/2005 10:46

Cadmum - only 1 more sleep to go til your scan {{{Hugs}}}

marne · 08/08/2005 15:54

Hi,
Step kids were fine, the eld'st boy (the one we thought would play up) is on his way over now to stay with us for the week, im taking him to see charlie and the choc factory tomorow. So alls ok so far. DH got realy worked up because he thought they would hate us for having another.

Jackstini · 08/08/2005 16:36

Marne - so pleased it went well - always good to have that weight off your mind

RosiePosie · 08/08/2005 17:20

Best of luck for your scan tommorrow, Cadmum.

Frizbe · 08/08/2005 19:46

Marne glad to hear it went well my ss says he'll be happy so long as its a boy! not sure about dd as she'll be two by then, so probably not going to be happy about anyone invading her living space! but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it!

Munz, we went to Merthyr Maw, South Wales, just past Bridgend. Hope your feeling a bit better? Try a bacon sarnie, seriously it seems to work for me!

Jackstini at your boss's reaction, like you say they'll just have to deal with it!

Cadmum, lots of stickybabydust your way and very good luck for tomorrow, Auntie Friz promises it'll be ok {{{Hugs}}}

Mum2someone, hope all is ok?

Babbybear, my sickness is marginally better today,(must keep eating) although encountered a mass pile of fumes earlier and thought I was going to throw in the middle of town, serious gagging moment...but luckily all held down for now still......

Well girls I'm 11 weeks tomorrow! argh! and my bump is letting me know this by having grown over night....time to dig out the old maternity wear....now where in the loft did I put it.....

toothyboy · 08/08/2005 21:23

Oh no Friz - I'm 11 wks on wed, I hope I don't suddenly pop out - still haven't told anyone yet!

Cadmum - hope all goes well tomorrow. Thinking of you.

M2S - hope you're OK.

Hope everyone else is starting to feel a bit better - I certainly am, so there is hope! It's all starting to feel a bit more real now, I've got my booking in on Thursday and really hoping the mw will find a heartbeat! That'll keep me going until my scan on the 23rd.
A work colleague brought her 3 week old dd into work today and it made me feel really excited about having another baby!
Take care all.

RosiePosie · 09/08/2005 06:07

I'm eleven weeks today and I woke at five this morning with the dawning realisation that I don't really feel sick! Now, if this lasts ( and man, do I hope it does! ) I shall be convinced this one's a boy - with my ds, the sickness stopped at 11 weeks on the dot, with dd it went on for much longer...

I'm listening to the heartbeat everyday now - just once a day, but it's so reassuring. And for the past couple of evenings, when I've been sat on the sofa watching television, I'm convinced I've felt it move. Is this ridiculous? Is it possible to feel movement this early on, bearing in mind this is my third? Love and thoughts to all xx

desperatehousewife · 09/08/2005 08:43

Hi everyone, i've been elbowed off the PC for the last few days...been desperate to know how everyone is. GOod luck Cadmum today, everythign is crossed for you.

Rosieposie: I would have thought it totally possible to feel a movement as it's your third and you know what signs to look for. They do say everything happens much quicker with subsequent pregnancies don't they? HOw exciting! Sorry, know the question has been asked before, but how early did you hear the heartbeat?

Can't believe some of you are 11 weeks aleady! Wowza! I'm 9+2 and it all seems to be going incredibly slowly.

Have been researching like crazy maternity wear as things are getting a bit tight (thank god, I have the maternity jeans already - spent a lot of time in those!) I'm shocked at how grim maternity stuff still is - particularly for the larger lady! I'm 5 foot 11" and a size 16-18 and there is hardly anything around that is not polyester and tent like. Really depressing.

RosiePosie · 09/08/2005 08:49

I first heard the heart at 10+2 or 3 days.

desperatehousewife · 09/08/2005 09:06

ow bless! they are expensive to buy though aren't they? Wonder if you can hire them....?

munz · 09/08/2005 09:15

dhw - try asda's george range - I had a quick look on sunday and they were ok and v reasonable. I've managed to pinch some of my mums smaller clothes (casual stuff u know plain shirts for work and plain bottoms) so hopefully that should suffice, if not off to george for me as mothercares so expensive.

friz - urghhhh don't I can't stand the smell of fried food much less eat it! it makes me retch! glad you had a nice time in wales, we're further to the west by tenby.

well weighed myself today - still nada not even an ounce, and after all last weeks cream cakes as well! oh wouldn't it be nice not to put anything on at all! ho hum, might mention it to the m/w next week would have thought i'd at least have water retention or something - ooh but don't u have to drink the water first!

cadmum - good luck for today hon, hope all is well.

marne - glad your SC were OK with things, how did u find willy wonka? I thought it was good but odd.

munz · 09/08/2005 09:18

oh dhw - on the slow front until last week I was as well but last week flew past cos I wasn't counting the days 9+4 today thou so back to counting!

desperatehousewife · 09/08/2005 10:25

anyone elses skin breaking out? I normally have really good skin - but breaking out all over my face this week...hideous!

mumtosomeone · 09/08/2005 10:45

just got back from hospital. Not good news!
Good luck to you all!
x

desperatehousewife · 09/08/2005 10:47
