Well found out this morning that I am pg!! 3 weeks and 4 days so pretty early days yet though!

Been trying for a fair while but first month using OPKs so would highly recommend them.

Will introduce myself anyway - dh and I both 26 with a 17 month old ds. Am so excited to be pg again even though it was a bit of a rough ride last time around!

OP posts:

munz · 03/08/2005 09:20

yeah suppose I should as well, my cousins are due over at 9.30 to go out for the day!

mumtosomeone · 03/08/2005 11:06

Still have no symptoms..maybe its a phantom pregnancy!!!!

RosiePosie · 03/08/2005 11:12

Wow, you guys have been busy this morning!

baggybear · 03/08/2005 12:20

Hi Mum2some1 - You are a lucky lady not having any symptoms yet! You will have to remind me (because being prenant has turned my brain into mush!) did you have a lot of symptoms with your other baby/ies? My sickness has arrived but not on the same scale as before (yet!) but I am peeing for Britain and, as previously discussed, very windy !

Hi rosieposie!

mumtosomeone · 03/08/2005 12:26

no didnt really suffer with others.
Have a sort of 'empty' feeling but not sick. Quite tired early evening but then again I always am!!!
Have you booked in yet as you are due around the same time i think you said! It seems so early!

baggybear · 03/08/2005 12:31

No i haven't been booked in yet. In my area, they don't book us til 12 weeks. MW coming tomorrow to give me my notes and make sure i'm doing what i should (or not as the case may be!). She will also give me my 12week scan date. And thats it, nothing til 12 weeks. Its changed since i had DS3 - i saw gp first then MWs and was booked in at about 9weeks. Oh well, nice to have anbit of variety from prenancy to pregnancy!! Keeps me on my toes!!

When are you being booked in? Is it soon? And when will you have your first scan? I've noticed a lot of you lover-lee ladies are having scans quite early.

mumtosomeone · 03/08/2005 12:40

I havent even spoken to midwife yet!
Thought I might wait till the kids go back to school. Dont want them to know yet!

Lizzylou · 03/08/2005 12:43

I booked in last week (straight away with MW, was with Docs first last time) and was told I'll have my scan at 13weeks...so 4 weeks to go!
Mumtosomeone, you have so much more patience than me! I want my scan today!!!!

mumtosomeone · 03/08/2005 12:50

they wont scan till about 12 weeks anyway will they?

Lizzylou · 03/08/2005 12:52

No, they won't, but I am so impatient, which is why I hate being pregnant...I am far too impatient to wait 9mths to meet my baby! (Well, 31 weeks now!)

baggybear · 03/08/2005 12:55

I haven't told my kids yet either. Will wait til they go back to school. Will be about 10 weeks when they do so will be a better time. And the time will go a bit quicker for them whilst they are at school.

You are patient Mum2some1! I can't wait to have my scan. Just hope the time goes quickly. I will worry right up to the time i have my scan. It doesn't seem real until you see that little bubba on that screen. We must all find out how to put our scan pics on here when the time comes.

baggybear · 03/08/2005 13:12

Now, I know I keep pestering you all with "have you got" questions, but as I didn't know about MN when I was expecting other kids, and I didn't have any prgnt friends to share experiences, I need to compare this time (reassurance I spose). But, has any one got heartburn yet. Didn't have it til later months with others so this is a bit wierd for me!

SOrry again for keep asking

RosiePosie · 03/08/2005 13:23

My pg symptoms have been exactly the same all three times, although went on for longer with my dd than my ds. I have my scan in 2 weeks time, which is very exciting as I've never had a 12 week one before. Where I lived before didn't do them, and 20 weeks is a very long time to wait!

baggybear · 03/08/2005 13:29

Oh no! you had to wait til 20 weeks. I couldn't do that. I would have to make something up to have an earlier scan!! Bet you are really looking forward to 12 week scan!?!?

Lizzylou · 03/08/2005 13:39

Baggybear, no indigestion as of yet, really suffered from about 20 weeks on with Ds, so not looking forward to that at all! I drank Gaviscon!!!

auntynon · 03/08/2005 14:52

Thanks for all your kind words, still incredibly sad though. Hope all your pregnancys go well. I'm going to leave you all to it now but at some point I do hope I'll be back to say hello and to tell you of my next pregnancy, fingers crossed!! Good luck, Auntynon xxx

desperatehousewife · 03/08/2005 15:39

I had my early scan this morning (I'm 8+3) and was PETRIFIED. But all ok. Baby has a heartbeat and was jumping around - it was amazing to see and I was just blown away by it - it's so extraordinary isn't it? They said the brown d'charge was probably just old blood....oh well.

I was awake for hours last night worrying about it. I am So bloody relieved.

Thanks girls for bearing with me on this one.

My thoughts are really with auntynon - I hope she'll be ok.

DHW

Lizzylou · 03/08/2005 15:41

Oh DHW, thats fab news!
Am so glad that all was well, must have been amazing to see!!??
xxx

toothyboy · 03/08/2005 15:42

Oh, DHW, that's fantastic - did you get a piccie? Are you the first of us to have a scan?

desperatehousewife · 03/08/2005 15:55

yes got a piccie of the cashew nut! Very very exciting! Felt real for the first time!

Lizzylou · 03/08/2005 15:58

Im v jealous ....it all seems so un-real for me at the moment!

Really pleased that your mind has been put at rest tho DHW!

Cadmum · 03/08/2005 16:10

DHW: I am so pleased for you! I really hope to be in the same state of contentedness in 6 days.

Trying hard not to waste energy (like I have much to spare?) worrying. Still not convinced that all is well... Only time will tell.

Thank you all for being so understanding. I am sorry that I am being this way. I will likely keep my posts to a minimum as I am trying to stay away from the worry.

desperatehousewife · 03/08/2005 16:12

Cadmun - sound off as often as you want, that's what we are here for.

marne · 03/08/2005 16:47

how much could you see? Got mine tomorow (8 weeks) what did it look like? is it worth getting a picture or does it just look like a blob?

baggybear · 03/08/2005 17:22

DHW - I'm really glad all went well today. Are you able to put scan on here? I'm soooo pleased for you

And good luck for tomorrow Marne.

I think i'll be one of the last to have a scan. Not due to have one til 12 weeks. Will get a date tomorrow.
