Well found out this morning that I am pg!! 3 weeks and 4 days so pretty early days yet though!

Been trying for a fair while but first month using OPKs so would highly recommend them.

Will introduce myself anyway - dh and I both 26 with a 17 month old ds. Am so excited to be pg again even though it was a bit of a rough ride last time around!

Hi all - have missed so many messages not being on this weekend! Auntie staying over & family do to go do. Felt SOOOOOOO rough over the past few days. RP - I know just what you mean - loads of heaving but nothing coming up! (except wind, I am unbelievable - thanks BB for raising this - don't feel so bad now!)

Anchovies - so glad to hear you have support to give things your best try - all my bits are crossed for you.

DHW - so pleased you have seen your beanie!!! bet you are over the moon

SE - It looks like I will not have my scan til 12-14 weeks too. Had my booking in on Monday and now waiting for a hospital letter telling me when I can have it. Now glad I have not waited to tell a few people - I would never have managed another 4 weeks.

Also someone at work today pointed at my belly and said congratulations! Did not think I was showing really so a bit panicked & told her to shush quickly! I am only 8+5 according to my calculations (although I am already out of my usual size 12s & moved up 2 bra sizes) - anyone else like this? or is it just wind...?

baggybear · 03/08/2005 21:41

Oh jackstini!! I'm so glad you have mentioned already growing out of clothes! I'm only 6+1 weeks but already i have gone up to a 14 and need to wear stretch waistbands, like sweat pants, round the house for comfort. Mind you this is my #4, and i was def showing at 12 weeks with my last one, so i spose things will start to show much sooner. Nice to hear someone else is full of wind aswell!!

Frizbe · 03/08/2005 21:45

Crikey Jackstini, she sounds like she was on the ball! could it be twins?

DHW Great news re your scan and now you've made me want a packet of cashew nuts as well!!

Anchovies 6am, argh! dd has just about been trained to be a 7am girl now, (although she inevatibly does 8am when at Grans, how typical is that!) and ss is now trained to stay put until 8am too!

Poppyh, hope your headache has gone and your feeling better, its not fun having a throbbing headache and not being able to take anything....

Cadmum, chin up girl, cause Auntie Friz says so! (promise it'll all be ok this time)

Baggybear I know what you mean about the ironing pile, someone please remind me why we're adding to this by having another baby time to get a nice male swedish aupair me thinks
Oh and so's you know for reference, when the wind went, my sickness kicked in

Well girls was out in the car today driving dd, her mate and his mum home from a little trip, when dd's mate filled his nappy....I had to pull over and bail out of the car, whilst his mum had to change him on the boot cause I couldn't stop gagging at the smell...ahem....how embarrasing, luckily being another mum, she saw the funny side of it all.....

Hi to anyone I've missed out, there's just sooo many of us

baggybear · 03/08/2005 22:02

OOO yes, Frizbe, a nice male au pair. What a good idea!! Although i'm sure he wouldn't be interested in a puking, farting, expanding, spotty old hag like me (thats how i feel right now )

baggybear · 03/08/2005 22:08

Well, i'm off to my bed now. Need my sleep!!

I will probably be back on bright and early tomorrow. Just want to thank you all for making my days more enjoyable. I'm so glad I've got MN for this pregnancy. How the hell did I get through my last 3 with out you???!!!???

Night-night all. Hope you all sleep well. xx

mumtosomeone · 04/08/2005 07:59

I am just feeding readybreak to my little one! he is 10 months!!!!

mumtosomeone · 04/08/2005 08:00

lets predict what we are having.
bit early for me but right now I think a girl. usually right!!!

poppyh · 04/08/2005 08:06

Hi everyone. Thanks for all your wishes regarding my migraine yesterday.
Had to call my mum (I hate asking for favours!).
She came over and I had a bath and 2 hrs kip.Much better today.
Its my bday 2morrow so im going shopping today to treat myself to some lovely face and body porducts. My skin has broken out in spots guess its my hormones.Going to need 2 buy some bigger trousers too.Im nearly 10 wks now and getting nearer to that 12 wk safety zone!Hope everyone good this morning.

desperatehousewife · 04/08/2005 08:12

cor, poppy - you must be the most advanced of us all?! 10 weeks - wowza!

I had to buy maternity jeans when I was 6 weeks because everything is a bit tight and uncomfy. Luckily the sun is back out and I've got loads of skirts that are probably designed to sit on hips, but fit round my waist quite nicely now!!

I woulnd't have the foggiest idea how to put my scan pic up on this...!?

To be hoenst, doesn't look like much - just a blob with one end bigger than the other (head)!

Slept like a baby last night - fantastic not having that worry any more.

Anyway, hope every one is well today...nearly Friday!! Getting my hair cut tomorrow in a bid to make myself feel a bit human again!

x

poppyh · 04/08/2005 08:17

DHW I was told last Friday by Gp I must be approx 9 weeks due 2 march. But really I need a dating scan to clarify this!
Im getting my haircut tomorrow too.Feel like a frump.Will be 31 tomorrow.Yikes.

mumtosomeone · 04/08/2005 08:24

mumtosomeone · 04/08/2005 08:28

Waht number baby is this for you all or has that being covered?

poppyh · 04/08/2005 08:29

poppyh · 04/08/2005 08:30

This is my third baby.

poppyh · 04/08/2005 08:31

This is my third baby.

poppyh · 04/08/2005 08:31

This is my third baby.

poppyh · 04/08/2005 08:32

Sorry about saying it 3 times!!Computer went funny!

baggybear · 04/08/2005 09:14

Morning all!! We all seem to be in quite good spirits today

This baby is number 4 for me (crikey!!)

And i'm a bit scared to predict what it will be. I have 3 boys already so chances are it will be a boy...BUT...(and i know the sex of the baby is determined by dad) my Nan had 3 boys then a girl, so it could happen. I really don't care though. I just want a healthy baby (cliche i know, but true!)

Cadmum · 04/08/2005 09:19

I can't sleep... It is only 4:15 here and I have been up all night convinced that I am no longer pregnant. Wish I knew what to do...

There is no such thing as an EPU in this city and I already have a 'dating' scan booked for Tuesday... DH isn't home until Friday evening and I am wondering what I could even say to the GP if i dragged myself in earlier anyway. He would likely tell me that I need to relax and stop worrying (been there, done that 3 times...)

ARGH! I am no longer feeling sick (which really is the only bright side); my breasts are no longer in the least bit sore; I am only slightly tired because I have not slept a wink all night.

Really just praying that I miscarry naturally as I can't bear the thought of another ERPC...

Cadmum · 04/08/2005 09:20

Sorry for ruining the mood...

Glad you are all well, honestly.

baggybear · 04/08/2005 09:26

{{{hugs}}} Cadmum! I didn't realise you aren't in the UK - where r u? Or is that a secret???

I know its easy for me to say, but try to relax. Aw, I really don't know what to say of any use. I spose there isn't anything except that I wish you all the luck in the world and hope all is fine. I am thinking of you cadmum, xxxxx

Cadmum · 04/08/2005 09:28

I am in Canada. Just moved back here in the winter after four years in London whilst DH was at the LSE doing his PhD...

Cadmum · 04/08/2005 09:30

I am going to try to get some sleep as my little people will be up shortly and then my day will be full-on...

anchovies · 04/08/2005 09:34

Cadmum I really think you should talk to someone about how you are feeling. I really think you should go and see your GP cos I really don't think you should be feeling this bad about things. This is a new pregnancy and your GP may be able to help to put things in perspective for you. Maybe if you explain how bad you feel they will organise a scan earlier for you? Is there anything you could do to pick youself up a bit and help you feel more positive? I bet tuesday feels like a million years away.

I am not feeling sick anymore either which although it is quite weird after being so ill I have decided to just make the most of it. It is worrying in a way but on the other hand it had to stop sometime and if this pregnancy is anything like the last it will come back anyway. Every pregnancy is different and only time will tell how things will work out but in the meantime I am trying to relax and make things as easy for myself as possible.

Anchovies - i'm glad to hear that you are relaxing as best as possible. You appear to be coping amazingly well. I don't think i could be as level headed as you. I'm in complete awe.
