Well found out this morning that I am pg!! 3 weeks and 4 days so pretty early days yet though!

Been trying for a fair while but first month using OPKs so would highly recommend them.

Will introduce myself anyway - dh and I both 26 with a 17 month old ds. Am so excited to be pg again even though it was a bit of a rough ride last time around!

Hi there. Have just found this site and thought I would join in!
I am about 6wks pg with #4 & by my reckoning am due around 21 march. I'm 34,dh 40,dd1 10, dd's 2& 3 are 2(yes I have twins!) Much as I love having twins I am hoping it is just one this time. Have got dr's appt tues so am going to find out how soon I can have a scan.

munz · 24/07/2005 21:18

well quite isn't it. our beanie is about the size of a grain of rice - u know thou I ahd a trip out yesterday cos it dawned on me there's two hearts inside me and also two brains - talk about a brain melt!

toothyboy · 24/07/2005 21:19

Hi cat - welcome! There's loads of us here now - just get stuck in! Are you feeling OK, or are you suffering sickness like most of us?

munz · 24/07/2005 21:20

hiya cat, make ur self at home, hope everything goes well for u on tuesday at the dr's.

catj · 24/07/2005 21:27

Toothyboy ur going to hate me cos I luckily don't feel too bad . I just feel a bit queasy occasionally very rare for me to actually throw up! The only thing is I can't face drinking tea any more!

Jackstini · 25/07/2005 09:50

Bleurgh - now have sympathy for the rest of you - feel yuck this morning, so tired and feeling like sicky bubbles in my throat. I now have my 1st m/w appt next Monday. Am going to see if I can get my scan a couple of days before I go out to USA again (will be 11 wks) so I feel more confident letting boss know. Welcome to you too Cat!

RosiePosie · 25/07/2005 11:31

Hi new people. I promise I will update the stats list soon. I keep thinking this nausea can't get any worse and then it notches up a gear. I really feel terrible right now! It's the school holidays now too, so no respite from the childcare duties. I've been lying on the sofa watching a Wiggles DVD all morning whilst my two have been running around trashing the house. Mmh, not exactly childcare then. . . I'm just here in the background making sure they don't actually come to any harm, whilst basically leaving them to fend for themselves. Poor kids. Last time it went on for 18 weeks, so no end in sight yet either. . . I've still not contacted the MW yet either, which I suppose I should do this week.

RosiePosie · 25/07/2005 11:32

I've just reread my post - what a miserable cow I sound like! I promise I'll cheer up once I stop feeling SICK!

Lizzylou · 25/07/2005 13:44

HI all, haven't we grown since I was away!!!

How popular is March for having a baby? Must have been that heatwave as was said earlier! My DS was born 14th March 2004 and it was a great time of year to have a baby, felt lovely and spring like and not too hot....altho an alcohol Christmas was hard!
I was away last week and felt nauseous all the time, wasn't actually sick, but just felt it and sooo tired...the only thing that helped was eating or walking....obviously did far more of the former!!!

Hope everyone's well, got my midwive's appt tomorrow so am pleased to be able to start feeling "pregant" officially!
xxx

BibiTwo · 25/07/2005 15:32

Can I join you all please? I'm guestimating my due date to be 8th March, this will be my 2nd baby and I'm sick, sick, sick, sick, sick! Well, that should read, I feel sick, sick, sick, sick, sick!

Frizbe · 25/07/2005 16:11

Hi bibitwo and cat, nice too meet you!!

Good stuff Munz, I'll have the other cream slice if you really don't want it

Toothyboy, well done re the booze, although I've been feeling that rancid, I don't think I could stand the smell of it anyway! I seem to be worse am now, which is good, as it was all day! still week 9 starts tomorrow folkes! yikes! roll on scan in Aug eh!

DHW how's things with you today?

Rosieposie you have my sympathies, but aren't the wiggles good for keeping kids occupied quak, quak, quak, quak, cockadoodle doo.....

RosiePosie · 25/07/2005 16:29

Lol, Frizbe. I'm 9 weeks tommorrow too - wow I've known I'm pregnant for 5 whole weeks! That's gone quickly. Hi Bibitwo, join the sicky club.

desperatehousewife · 25/07/2005 16:57

Hello Bibitwo and Cat - welcome to the 'we feel sick supporters hand holding club'!!

Rosieposie, you don't sound miserable - 18 weeks of sickness though - that's hard work. Maybe it won't last as long this time (mind over matter and all that?!) Moan as much as you like about it - that's what we're here for.

Still have brown d'charge (sorry grim I know) so phoned doc today and they are will see me tomorrow morning. To be honest would have been easier for everyone if he'd just taken 5 mins to talk to me on the phone to tell me what it is.

I hate the not knowing. Although Majormoo said you'd had the same thing - did it last long? Mine has been on and off since Friday night evertime I go to the loo.

auntynon · 25/07/2005 22:23

desperatehousewife, I had the same as you with dd, brown d/chg for a few days, achy tum, was scanned at 7 weeks and again at 9 weeks, everything was ok, pregnancy continued fine. I was told it was fairly common. I'm 7 weeks now and do have a bit of an achy tum but no spotting as yet - would feel a bit more reassured if I felt sick like you lot, last time it kicked in about now and was awful. Feel a bit too well for this stage in pregnancy although boobs quite sore! Can't figure out how you all find the time to spend on mumsnet, will try to dip in more often. nice speaking to some one about pregnancy when it is still a secret from friends and family. Have doctors appt on wed pm, want scan now, have moved to new area, hoping nuchal scan will be available, is it standard now, when dd was born in 2003 I don't think it was.

oldfool · 26/07/2005 07:26

Auntynon, I'm also 7 weeks and feel really well. The sore boobs are really annoying (can anyone remember when it stops?) but at least they are a symptom that I am still pg. I find it keeps popping back in my head like I've forgotten all about it. Someone will say something is happening in December and i'll suddenly think oh yes, I'm pg... it's like i forget in between. Haven't been to Dr yet. Difficult to get appointments here. Hoping to go tomorrow.

I'm still getting the odd tummy pains as well but I kept a diary with the others and had it with my 16 yo at this stage so i assume it's normal.

Lizzylou · 26/07/2005 08:33

I feel like such a fraud as my boobs are not sore at all (I know, I don't really want them to be, but it would be reassuring!), the only way I kow I'm pregnant is that I feel so sick all the time and my waist has completely gone already!
Desperatehousewife, I had brown discharge with my DS at about 10 weeks and was scanned, all was well....I was amazed when I spoke to others how common it was, so try not to worry....

desperatehousewife · 26/07/2005 10:31

Lizzy and aunty thank you for your reassurance - it seems that whoever I speak to their experience is that its normal and is nothing to worry about, or that is how their misscarraiges started - so i'm none the wiser really. Just have to sit it out and see. Saw doc this morning and he just said take it easy - no point in scanning me as what may be fine today, may go pear shaped tomorrow - so scan won't give any real reassurance. I'd really like a scan to be honest, but I guess he's right. Humph!

Yes, join in more auntynon!

Oldfool - i dont' even remember having sore boobs last time round, so don't know when it stops. Mine aren't as bad as they have been for the last 7 weeks, but do still feel bit icky.

Good luck everyone. Hang in there little grains of rice!

auntynon · 26/07/2005 10:33

tummy really achey this morning and a little bit of pinky d/chg, hope it is all just nothing, you do worry about everything at this stage, will try and take it easy today as it's my day off work. Hope everyone else ok

desperatehousewife · 26/07/2005 10:38

it's terrifying at this stage isn't it Auntynon - take it easy - infact my book says lie down. Get telly on and a cuppa and put yr feet up. Stay in touch.

x

desperatehousewife · 26/07/2005 10:38

how many weeks are you auntynon?

auntynon · 26/07/2005 13:33

7 weeks, I've worked out due date to be 14th march. What will be will be, all in natures hands now. Found myself looking at the maternity clothes section of the new next directory yesterday, sooo want this bump to grow!!

Frizbe · 26/07/2005 14:55

Oh DHW and auntynon, I hope things stay ok for you both {{Hugs}}

Nothing to report here, just plodding along feeling sick still! although not as bad as it has been, fingers x'd at 9 weeks, its easing off!

desperatehousewife · 26/07/2005 14:59

aunty, my due date should be 11 March!

daisy20 · 26/07/2005 15:12

Hello, I'm due on March 9th 06.

Daisy

Lizzylou · 26/07/2005 15:28

Auntynon, 14/3 that's my DS's birthday and he is a gorgeous piscean with a fab temperament!
Hi Daisy, is this your first?

Had my first booking in appt with the midwife, felt really ill in the waiting room as it was soo hot, thought I would vomit on the floor at one point!

Hope all are well, rest up!
