It's our weekend here so off for a good walk round the shops with the kids to see if I can encourage this baby to drop - it's still sitting very high.

I've been up since 2 - just not comfy/ very thirsty. Have been drinking loads and then needing to go to the loo. Still thirsty but just can't drink any more. What is all that about? This pregnancy is certainly different to the last one!

Sorry you can't sleep Sarah and Ohmani. I had an OK night last night, only got up about 4 times to wee, but woke up to an awful dream where my sister told me My Mum had had an accident and died.
My due date by the scan is tomorrow, but as it's DPs birthday I'm hoping it'll be closer to the 1st October date that I've calculated, especially as DPs present is a weekend away with me and DD this weekend!

I'm feeling all sorts of strange pains this morning, but think it's just because I did too much yesterday! Going to take it easy today and I'm pretty sure they'll all go away again.

Hi to everyone!!! Trying to catch up with everyone.

Ive went into a panic and i now dont want to have this baby, i have to say im getting really scared now. Thank god in an hours time i will see the MW cause i really am freaked out. Part of me thinks its because im in a different country, i now wish i was home again. But at least my MIL is going to fly over for the birth to look after my DS, that helps alot. My DH is taking 3 weeks off from the 5th, the army pay him fully so thank god we dont have the added pressure of less money.

Right....im going to go and drink a cup of tea, slap myself a bit & phone my mum.....i need to calm myself down......

littlepea totally normal to have those feelings. it will be fine, i promise. when your baby comes it will be fantastic and you'll be a great mum.

plimple i remember having loads of upsetting dreams when pg with ds. hormones or something. don't think i slept in long enough stretches to dream with this one!

LMB DA and HC congrats on the breaking waters, hope you're getting somewhere now. Does this mean that arguing with DH induces labour?

No signs here, am taking red raspberry tablets and did engage DH in a bit of activity last night but can't really go into labour til fri night at the earliest, my TENS machine hasn't arrived yet and my parents and my friend who are due to have dd are on holiday. Not due till the 11th and I went a week over with dd so don't know why I'm even thinking about it really!

Littlepea I hope you've taken a few deep breaths and the visit to the mw has calmed you down.

Goodness me - keeping up with this thread is a nigh-on full-time job

I think I've gone into (pre?)labour too
Lots of crampy contractions all evening and night, had a show, but cx have eased off now I've got up, feel quite spacey though, flip-flopping between being v hungry and quite queasy.
DH has offered to work from home, but predictably he's already yacking on the phone to his work collegues and I think I'd rather he just go

Big hugs to LMB, HC and DA I expect you'll deliver before me though as this is my first, will be glued to MN for updates!

littlepea I'm sorry you're feeling a bit wobbly about the baby's arrival. don't let myself think too much about whats really just about to happen. Many of my new mum friends are really enjoying motherhood - and I bet we will too XXX

Hi all, I am and excited!

I want a show/waters to break or reg cx.

I feel crap today. Coldy still and very frumpy. Felt very self concious on the school run. Everyone asking how I am and saying 'oh you've not had it yet..' etc. I feel that I look horrid too! (sorry I am moaning)

I want some action!! I was fine last week, not impatient for anything to happen atall, but now I feel so poorly I am wanting this baby to come.

Yeay to all the waters breaking and labours starting!!

devils-I'm still here as nothing more happened. Sounds like it is imminent for you.

Am also thrilled to see some more of you getting ready to have your babies.

littlepea - I know the feeling, I was so focused on finishing work (which is tomorrow) it's only just dawned on me that her arrival is just round the corner.

Not helped by serious BH last night, I'm suffering seriously with sweating (cannot wear more than a vest and shorts and spend as much time as possible outdoors in the evening, so every time I wake up at night my legs are covered in sweat and i think either my waters have gone or I've pee'd myself.

Sending good wishes to everyopne else on here, this thread is growing so quickly it's hard to keep up with everything.

Well it's exactly 40 weeks today since I ovulated so feel like I am reaching the end! had false cx every 15 mins all day yesterday and am quite crampy today too, don't think it's the start of anything but am hoping this baby might be starting to engage. It would be nice to have her this weekend but I'm not holding my breath Next week I've got acupuncture induction on Monday, then a sweep on Tuesday so the eviction process is starting in earnest, my previous babies have got a little too comfy.

littlepea sorry you're feeling in a bit of a panic, it must be really hard to be away from home at a time like this. Phoning your mum sounds like a good plan

This threads moving so fast now.Good luck to all whos water have broken.Hopefully you have your babies in next few days. Am so wish something was happening here but nothing just lots of BH hate them right now as they dont seem to be leading to anything.

Hate the questions at school run too just want to hide until baby comes.Its obvious we hadnt had baby as they can clearly see so wwhy ask? Lovely weather here today doesnt lift my mood much though.

First baby`s can be early ds was 10 days early so was here by this stage very frustrating.8 days till due date.

So much going on today! I'm soooo tired, I wish there was someone who could take dd for a day so I could sleep. I feel really sorry for her, I'm no good to anyone, so she's stuck watching cbeebies all day.
