Things seem to be moving now for some, with shows etc. Luckily nothing for me yet - really need a few more weeks for house to be more ready.
I had a bit of a thought about SPD this morning while I was struggling to get out of bed. I know it is basically the ligaments in the pelvis (think this is right - correct me if I am wrong) being so relaxed that the pelvic bone move further apart than is comfortable (understatement here) or 'normal'. Hmm wonder if body is preparing for what it thinks is a 'big baby'. I wondered about testing the theory - how many of you with SPD have been told you are having a big baby or your fundal length measures over your weeks?
Littlepea I solve the problem by going to be waxed every 5 weeks and have done for a while. This Thurs will be my last appointment until (prob just before Xmas). I have the whole lot done - underarm, legs, bikini, upperlip (ever since my DH commented on it many years ago - although now never notices, lol) and eyebrows. Must admit that I am not looking forward to it this time as I will not be able to turn over quite so easily as I have in the past. The lady who waxes me has waxed many pregnant ladies and knows how to get you in a position which is comfortable and in which she can wax you.
I also went to the dental hygienist yesterday so hopefully my teeth will sparkle when I have pictures taken of me with the baby. I'm also going to the optition today as they have been reminding me for ages to have my eyes retested and I realised I didn't really want to have to go after the baby is born.
These are all things that were on my to do list. Now all that is left to organise is the new radiators, electrics, roofers, carpets and carpet cleaning, lighting.... for the attic and babies room which are affected by the building work. Arghh, just when I thought I was beginning to have time to relax I realise how much is left to do. Ah well it will all work out in the end.
