chubby - so so sorry such awful news after having to wait all this time and keep hoping. Please do stick around and we will look forward to hearing good news from you soon x
shyla - hi and welcome - I remember you (briefly) from the ttc threads (I was only there for a couple of weeks luckily for me so I'm sure you don't remember me!).
hi scootergrrrrl and congrats LOL at the pancakes and maple syrup. I have learned never to leave the DC alone with anything dippable after a few unfortunate incidents with hummous...
caitni - re hypobirthing my friend said you have to practice all the breathing exercises a lot for it to work so I think that is what takes the time rather than the actual course/reading. I read a book by Sheila Kitzinger called the Experience of Birth or something like that last time - very hippy dippy 70's earthmother kind of thing but it had a few simple breathing exercises which DH and I practised for the last few weeks of my pg and i have to say it was amazingly effective - I had as good a birth as I think you can with DS (no pain relief, no tearing, short 2nd stage, feeling calm throughout)and that was following a pretty harrowing birth with DD (ventouse, 3 hours pushing, post-partum haemorrage, blood transfusion) so I would really really reccommend that book if you don't want to go the whole hod with hypnobirthing.
Well I don't want to jinx it but I THINK my MS has begun to subside - my God what a relief! I am 9.5 weeks now (I think) so for all those suffering it may not be too long now. Still want to vomit at the thought of coffee and meat though (just as well really as I am veggie!)
arcadie - have been thinking of you - must be awful waiting but hope your brother's wedding and stuff manages to distract you a little. How are you feeling today?
