Due in Dec - thread 2

Well here it is and I think we all deserve a huge CONGRATULATIONS for making it onto the 2nd thread.

The last thread lasted us a month and a half so here to one thread down and 5 to go!!!

YIPPEE so excited!!!

I've also noticed the Due in Jan thread has 10 posts on it now so we are officially not the newbies anymore YEAH !!!!

Had another scan lst week, went private, could not wait for NHS as my first appointment won't be till I am 13/14 weeks!

Saw two babes, arms, legs, heartbeats, the lot. Clinic bought forward my EDD to 2/12/05 which means today I am 12 weeks + 1 day.

The reassurance alone was worth the £120 for the scan.

Does the second trimester start at week 12 or week 13?

Nausea definately better - not completely gone, but managable now - don't have to run out of sainsbury's anymore!

TWINS aghhhhhh that is sooo nice, and your 12 wks. All good news and i am chuffed for you. Will that make you the first here that will be having twins?

Good morning all,I am finally starting to feel human again,the pain is still there but no where near as bad and i feel a lot happier now...
Still tierd but havent really done anything to feel tireed for....

well im feeling semmy ok but could all change. Baby has decided it hates mince as i found out at tea last night..lol So think my aversion is mince. With ds it was chicken.

seems everyones rushing thro to 12 wks except me. this is the longest time in my life! i am 9wks today, not even double figures! ugh ugh ugh. worst day ever yesterday, never been so sick in my life. gave up and went to bed at 9.30pm. i keep reading m/s peak at 10wks. bloody hell, i might as well stay inbed then, if it can be possible to get any worse. dh keeps saying, 'justa few more weeks, youre goingt o be fine, just a few more weeks'. but frankly i'm in no moood to be convinced. weirdly i have lost weight all over aside from belly (still growing and sticking out) so have changed shape totally. this isnt the blooming bit then. ugh.

drama the m/s is a nightmare - I hope it gets better for you soon. I could do with not putting on so much weight - can't really blame huge thighs, calfs and bum on babies!

i'm right there w/ya, drama. 10 weeks today and vomitting away. i try to go to sleep early to escape it, as mine isn't in the morning - it's in the evening.

last time, it didn't abate till i was 4 months along, to be replaced by acid reflux.

i can't even drink tap water. has to be sparkling or it comes back up. am worried about sodium consumption w/it, but have no choice.

lol,go,i know that feeling,im lucky about the m/s but dont really feel pregnnt...anyone else feel the same?

just had a very traumatic 2 days
had what seemed like a massive bleed on sat am in hairdressers, how embarassing and abdo cramps. thought it was all over but when had scan bean was there! bleeding stopped again within hours. stayed in hospital last night
another scan on thurs
paranoia was not misplaced on my part
dh has kids in eurodisney so had to get my dad who has kept saying arent you getting the message about not trying for another -its obviously not gonna happen
waiting game now.........

heres, so sorry about scary days. and i'm sorry your dad said that too! you hang in there, hope bean is still okay.

heres hugs to u hun how scarey. Hoprfully seeing as bean was ok it may just be one of those things especially if u have no more bleeding. Just make sure u rest this week and ignore your dad

Heres, I'm so sorry you are going through a tough time of it. I do hope your bean keeps fighting on. I hope that your DH is due back soon to give you some TLC.

I am now quite visibly pg and I can't wait to tell people but we have decided to wait til after the scan cos of mc last time ... Someone came up to me on Sunday at a christening and said 'congratulations' I felt really caught out as she is not someone I know well plus we live in a village where you only have to sneeze ...
I am a rubbish liar, I just mumbled, mmm, what for? and denied it all - - in Church! left both of us feeling really embarassed I mean - it's obvious, normally I'm quite slim and it really shows, it's like denying having legs, I feel such an idiot - but I need to see baby on scan and be told everything is OK before I can relax

morning all. I am completely shattered. I am really struggling to stay awake of a day but of a night i cant sleep..sigh

ninah..i wouldnt worry too much about a white lie as u say its for your own sanity in a way.

minnie glad ms has gone...ive not been ill in a while although constantly feeling it. With that and the tiredness i just feel completely drained.

Ds has been really grumpy past 2 days and has no woken up wiht cough and cold so just hoping i dont get it as with my asthma it always turns into chest infection...sigh. So much to do today and physically no energy to even get dressed...

phew thanks! feel relieved that others understand
Minnie I just rang now to chase up date for scan - should be in around 2 weeks from now - can't wait!

aGHHHH NEWS FLASH FOR MINNIE

I have just found out that my sister that has a 7 month old is pregnant again... She thinks she is about 8 wks (same as me) This will be her 4th and OMG i am in shock.. I told her i was to and she was over the moon. this is soooo weird.

Tirdness is setting in nicly with me, as this will be my first i am spending as much time in bed as possible, the house is in a mess but what the heck it will be worth it.

well ive decide to let tiredness win today and ds and i are on the couch in pjs with a blanket. House is a mess but i really dont care..lol

I am down to 2 pairs of jeans that i can fit into without opening the buttons.
I mc last year and i am worried that i would ms again, but then i seen the bean and it releived me a bit. But its to get to the next one that i am worried about. I think we will worrie untill the babs arrives.
