Sounds like a bond girl. What would Silke's specialty be?

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 12/04/2009 16:53

Very Nice MM

Well you lot got me started. I had a feel o my cervix and where I can feel his head I can feel a squishy bubble on the top. I can only assume its the bag of waters (not all of it obviously). Thought I better not poke too hard in case I popped it

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 12/04/2009 18:09

Bronze - you are a better woman than me!! i would have been trying to pop it!!

WhatFreshEggIsThis · 12/04/2009 18:10

Don't pop yourseflf Bronze!

The good news is that OrbitButtonhole is still ok, so I think the clonk to the head is just the first of many brotherly traumas!

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 12/04/2009 18:11

WFH - YAY for Orbit being ok!!

bronze · 12/04/2009 18:13

Too worried about infection Nutty otherwise I could have been tempted. I would love to have this baby today. Easter Sunday is so special, plus its the 12th so fits in my pattern, my pil are still a round (away next week wed til sun) and DH has sodding gone out again and I'm feeling a little bitter

bronze · 12/04/2009 18:14

Yay for ok Orbit. Wait til he rolls off the bed

bronze · 12/04/2009 18:15

It was very odd though like one of the bubbles off a large bubble wrap

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 12/04/2009 18:15

Bronze - ah good point

Yes, DS1 managed to roll off something when quite small, can't remember if it was a bed or what, scared the life out of me! Doesn't seem to have affected him much so far.

Orbit just had a bath, only his third one so far (terrible parents) and screamed the house down when he had to get out. Looks lovely now though, hair's all fluffy and he's all clean

bronze · 12/04/2009 18:52

DD had her first bath at about 2.5 months. It doesn't harm them. In fact its better for their skin not to be bathed too often so pretend its for his benefit

purplemonkeydishwasher · 12/04/2009 19:16

just popped on for a minute...

CONGRATULATIONS TO SPRINGY AND RACHEL!!!!! xxxx

(rachel - LOVE the name! it's almost my surname! and DS's middle name is James!)

been having slight pains for the last couple of days. don't think anything is imminent but possibly soonish?? (fingers crossed!)

i'll be back tuesday once DH goes back to work. while he's around i just want to enjoy having him here (and try to get some stuff done!!)

love to you all!! Happy Easter!!
xx

mathshoneybunny27 · 12/04/2009 19:32

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 12/04/2009 19:42

mathshoneybunny27 · 12/04/2009 19:43

or Tuesday I guess...good old NHS efficiency.. I am thinking worse-case scenario they faff about with GPs and examinations and gel and crap for quite a while, and a long labour. Hope I will be pleasantly surprised [hopeful bunny]

Still...SO GRATEFUL !!!!

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 12/04/2009 19:44

Hi all

MM - so excited for you for tomorrow. Will keep my phone near me and on loud - can't wait to hear from you!!

How are you Kitty? Any progression?

soon2befamilyof4 · 12/04/2009 20:41

Good luck for the induction tomorrow! I would be excited too! I was induced last time - although had gone into labour myself but I was taking too long and had infection. Anyway, if I could choose to be induced this time I would! I would love to know when baby is coming, and as I had it via a drip, they could increase the dose to speed things up etc which was nice!

So with the cervix - do you wait till your in labour to have a feel or can you do it before hand? Might have a go!

Nutty - I think I might have been tempted to pop it too!

bronze · 12/04/2009 21:17

Ooh MM baby soon. hope it goes well for you

soon2befamilyof4 · 12/04/2009 21:29

TMI alert, don't read if you are eating:
Had a feel for the cervix, if nothing else I thought I would see how it feels now so I know how it has changed if I feel again during labour. Well, couldn't find my cervix - found something hard but I think it was quite a bit too far towards the back to be a head? But while I was doing it and after, I had loads of really thick white dischargy stuff? It was all over my finger? . Can't believe I am telling you all this! I actually had some earlier too, when I was out at the park. I actually felt it come out, it was that thick! It is very white too. Not the slightest hint of any colour?
Is all this normal? How do I find my cervix if I couldn't find it today? Is there a good position to be in when looking for it? I am pretty sure I know what it feels like and have felt it in the past (not purposly) so it isn't usually that hard to find iyswim?

soon2befamilyof4 · 12/04/2009 21:30

Oh and now I apparently have a nose bleed .
