Boff - better again than yesterday, though i havent moved feels like my pelvis and fanjo have been assaulted by a sledgehammer when i do attempt to move and my hip feels like its popped out?? my back is bruised again and my left leg has its own shooty pain train going from above my coxis through my bum and down to midway to my calf. and the top of my thigh is dead again.

s'ok though me and the sofa are bonding well and it is alot better than what it has been the last few days so cant complain too much. 28 days to go!!! YIPPEEE!!

The language thing isn't that troublesome, I've been here years now and am pretty much fluent, though perhaps less quick to ask questions than I would be in English, as I digest medical info more slowly.
I wondered if I'd freak giving birth to DS being surrounded by people speaking French, but it wasn't really an issue. Maybe if I'd done it w/o an epidural I'd have yelled abuse in English when the pain got really bad...

I think you're right, Boff, it's probably not a big deal and looking on the Internet is giving me the heebie jeebies whereas the MW didn't seem all that concerned when she told me about the staph. aureus. What's a bit annoying is that the swab was done 2 weeks ago, and the results weren't in my file so she phoned somewhere and asked the person to say off the top of his/her head if they looked OK. The person mentioned the staph. but not the other problem. If she'd told me face to face and explained things, I'd not be making mountains out of molehills and trying to guess the risks of postpartum endometritis!

Hi, I have been following you all for months but kept very quiet. Hope you don't mind another one joining in now things are hotting up. Also planning an HB but little so and so is currently breech. If we can't get him turned that will be out of the window... Anyone else got one sitting in there like a little pixie on a toadstool?

Hello all.
How's everyone?
DH is driving me a bit batty and he's only been home 2 days...
All signs of contractions and whatnot have stopped.
Went to the MW today... Sprite is back out of being engaged and is causing me a lot of heartburn again because of it, but s/he's still growing happily. MW estimates 8lbs already...Talked to my sisters and they confirmed that all but one of their babies were a lovely 8lbs (ish) size... My BP was high again/still 126/94 (but I think that has a lot to d with DH and the job front). I've got an appointment next week (40+5) for another check up and if nothing's happened need to make an appointment for a S&S...

I've been trying to arrange the nursery all day long...and I just don't like it...there's too much stuff in it, but I haven't got anywhere to put of the stuff that's actually not needed in the nursery. (The nursery is doubling as a spare room)
My house is jambed with junk!
