Ladies, it seems that we do not know when to stop!
Here is another thread. Let?s hope it?s just not the tread that moves that fast - let the weeks fly!
I jsut have to work out how to link the old one now!

cupoftea what a day it's been for you. I can understand how numb you must feel, so much to take in and sadly still so much uncertainty. Come and join those of us for whom it's not a fun filled and easy journey here There are lots of lovely ladies at varying stages of pregnancies, all of whom have had a tough time in one way or another. It's a very supportive bunch who understand all too well the roller coaster of emotions that you're on.

Hi Ladies,
May I join??? Am due on 9th Nov, have a 16 month old and am totally shattered. MS is not as bad as the first time but am throwing up and feel sick all day..why oh why me!!? Little one is giving me a hard time as we just moved house and country (Switzerland) and she misses her friends. On top of that no creches here that have space till OCT!!!!!! so she is stuck with me. Sorry to hear if you're suffering too.Have my scan here next week. One sees a Gyno here and it really is diff to the NHS..more hands on if you know what i mean. Good luck to all

Bloody hell cupoftea what a rollercoaster of emotions you must be going through. Will be keeping everything crossed for you for next Wednesday. Can't believe the first sonographer could get it so wrong, now come on little bean get growing!

I've been feeling nauseas these past few days, it doesn't stop me from eating and when I do eat I enjoy my food but the aftertaste is really weird and makes me feel abit bleugh! I seem to be craving salty savoury food this time round, salt and vinigar crisps are my favourite! With ds I craved sweet stuff so I wonder if I'm having a girl this time. I suffered really badly with constipation last time but this time I feel fine. If i remember correctly I think I took fibregel to get things going but am afraid to say I suffered all through the pregnancy and ended up getting piles. The joys of pregnancy

I have a funny taste in my mouth too, esp after eating. I have it now. Stuffed myself silly with lunch because I let myself get too hungry: it is kind of metallic and just very unpleasant.

We've been to Abersythwth (sp?) this morning and had lots of fun trawling the hippy new age shops and spending too much money in Waterstones. It is quite chilly today so we didn't spend long looking at the sea. DS2 is having a sleep now so we're off to the beach here in Borth for a bit of bucket-and-sand fun later.

groan - MS really bad today - i think it DOES come in fits and starts, some days are definitely worse. Or maybe its just working that makes it worse!

cupoftea [hugs] WOW! I know it is still all uncertain, but the new scan gave you so much more positive news than the last two, i have a vague idea what it feels like as I was diagnosed with miscarriage with DD, and went for a routine scan to confirm it all, only to see a heartbeat, DH did not come in, he waited outside as we were told it was def miscarriage, and I had to tell them to wait until DH came in before showing me! I really hope your bean continues to prove as resilliant as s/he is so far. I have heard people say that before 12 weeks it is extremely difficult to date a bean, and that the measurements cannot be relied on 100%. Good luck next week.

MS, feel sick, but not sick. I think I prefer to be sick, gets it over and done with! I have a stinking headache, My boss been on the phone hassling as I took day off. Isn;t it just in the morning, could it be that I will be able to come in in the afternoon? fuck off!! However, it ain't much calmer at home, DD just will not leave me alone, which is sweet but she won't let me sleep, or do anything, she is there, all the time. I really really need space, I am considering just going for a drive to get some.

Oh my head is in a spin!
Had a loft conversion specialist in, will quote us within the week, and he was good. We talked about need for simplicity, about wanting to keep costs down as low as possible without cutting corners. He was very amenable. He did not try to sell us anything. And he insisted on completion 4-6 weeks, I asked him if that was an optimistic guess and he no, it is standard. This guy has gone from strength to strength as he quoted 3 years ago when were just checking if it was possible to convert, and his business has boomed since!!!

How on earth do we decide on what option is best !

I can't even compare prices as the builder can't price until we have drawings done, and this guy will quote for the lot.
