7 girls have 2 legs each - 7x2

7 girls have 7 back packs with 7 cats, each cat has 4 legs - (7x7x7x4)

Each of these have 7 little cats (7x7x7x7x4)

So 10990 legs x

BabyBolat · 31/03/2009 16:09

Auld how annoying about your mil - did dh speak to her?

AuldAlliance · 31/03/2009 16:09

Well, I wasn't far off .

BabyBolat · 31/03/2009 16:12

See I think it is more of an english problem than a maths problem as the hardest thing is reading it properly - and I hate these things as I am no good at that - poor kids today who have to do situation maths rather than basic numeracy OK we can go back to smut now.

I just walked to the post office to get my driving license form to change my name and address (only 2 years late!!!) and filled it all in - even got all the proper certificates etc I just ruined the stupid sign in the white box thing!! really should have picked up two. Should I go back and get another one now or wait until tomorrow - I have to get a new picture on it too so technically can't send it off until next week...

Think I just answered my own question

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 31/03/2009 16:13

BB - you have all the big cat poo you need to scare off your little cats on one bus

I missed the maths puzzle. . Off to have a bath now, if there are any more puzzles, please don't give the answer away until I have a bash. You don't want to see a geek cry do you?

Hope to catch up later. I don't seem to get much opportunity to be on here at the mo and I miss you crazy ladies.

Sorry puzzle - I'll try and find some more just for you later!!!

AuldAlliance · 31/03/2009 16:21

Boff, DH spoke to her on Sun; she said she wanted me to send her a list of my "expectations" (i.e. what I want her to do, times of day I'd like her to be around or not, etc., so as to co-ordinate my needs with her possible desire to go out for walks [sic]).

I can see that she's trying to be helpful and minimise tension, but I have absolutely no idea what time I want anyone to be around until I have this baby and see how bad nights are and how long I take to recover physically. After her call on Sun both DH and I had the impression that the date of her arrival was to be set soon. I told him that if possible I'd rather wait as long as possible to see how I'm coping, how DS is, and how the desire to be alone balances out with the need for help/interference from MIL. She doesn't have to book a ticket urgently as she doesn't pay much because her DH worked for the SNCF, so I thought I had a bit of time, and asked DH to stall her. That was 48hrs ago, he has been working non-stop for Le Gros Wanker since, so hadn't had a chance to call and she has taken matters into her own hands.
