BoffinMum · 31/03/2009 13:20

meant to type goose porn

Bleuravin · 31/03/2009 13:20

do you think this goose semen is going to taste like pate? [Bleu eyes shot glass quizzically]

BoffinMum · 31/03/2009 13:21

Tell you what, let's do a meet up and invited Heston Blumenthal to organise all the aids and ingredients. I am sure he would be up for that. BB, do you have his agent's number perchance, and would this be good PR for him???

BoffinMum · 31/03/2009 13:22

I reckon it will taste like eye of bat, toe of newt and leg of spider all mixed up.

Thank god for syntocinon, that's all I can say.

Bleuravin · 31/03/2009 13:24

lol

Bleuravin · 31/03/2009 13:25

Just hit my rock hard belly with the ironing board.. ow!

....probably the only time in my life where I'll be able to say I have a rock hard belly...

BoffinMum · 31/03/2009 13:27

Yeah, instead of six-packs we appear to have
Party Sevens.

conkertree · 31/03/2009 13:28

think i will give the goose semen a pass and stick with my lovely creme egg which i am eating with not a single feeling of guilt as my blood glucose was 4.3 and apparently anything between 4 and 7 is normal so dont need to worry about gestational diabetes.

very relieved.

bleu - if we split the difference do you not mind being late?

bb - there is surely a formula for queue jumping depending on which baby it is eg first timers tend to go later than second and third etc - sounds like you wont have to wait long though.

Bleuravin · 31/03/2009 13:33

Well I don't mind being late no.

Though the later I am means the less time DH has with the baby if a job suddenly comes up...but it does mean the more time I have to be with just him...it seems like ages since it was just us and we were happily relaxed with nothing really to do...

Bleuravin · 31/03/2009 13:35

lol Boff

Found my Tom Petty cd [Happy Bleu is dancing around in her undies at the ironing board]

PuzzleRocks · 31/03/2009 13:40

For Bleu

Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldnt help thinkin that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, and if she had to die
Tryin she had one little promise
She was gonna keep

Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an american girl

I love Tom Petty too.

conkertree · 31/03/2009 13:40

I know what you mean Bleu - I keep wondering what we used to do with our time before ds came along, but i remember it was nice to have very few responsibilities etc.

not that i regret having ds for a moment - it was just easier before.

Bleuravin · 31/03/2009 13:41

Smile Smile Smile Grin Smile Smile Smile

phdlife · 31/03/2009 13:45

ok but we are all keeping our knees crossed tomorrow, aren't we???

Bleuravin · 31/03/2009 13:47

Though when I think of it... we won't be able to do much because I'm so preggy and won't really want to be too far from the hospital I guess... and cycling (which we normally would have done) is COMPLETELY out of the picture... hmmm baby is already made itself well felt in our lives...

Bleuravin · 31/03/2009 13:48

is there something about being born on the 1st of April?

Bleuravin · 31/03/2009 13:49

Personally I'm going to call up everyone I know and tell them I had the baby in the wee hours of the morning, but that I'm not feeling so well so they have to give me a week before coming down... then I'm going to wait until the baby IS born then call them and tell them I lied and need another week...

Bleuravin · 31/03/2009 13:50

[evil Bleu rears her head and peeks around with a sly grin]

BabyBolat · 31/03/2009 13:52

Hello all - i just had the heaviest sleep - absolutely no change here - there is definitely something happening down there (pains, regularity, pressure etc) but it is clearly in no hurry to develop - maybe springy's thursday will be right!!!

love that i log back on to goose fat porn!!!

Schulte · 31/03/2009 13:54

Hee hee

have they left you alone again Bleu?

My godson was born on 1st April - my mum did ask my cousin if he was an april fool's joke, I don't think the comment went down too well

Bliss in the Schulte house - MIL and DD are looking at books together so I can get some MNing tidying done and MIL has brought a cake too. Yum yum.

How did I do my back in - not sure, probably from lifting DD in and out of the car seat - it's really difficult to do even without a bump!

Bleuravin · 31/03/2009 13:56

oooh Schulte mmmm cake and some time to yourself. Lovely

Schulte · 31/03/2009 13:56

Oh BB jealous of your sleep. Well done, you'll need the energy. Any shows yet?

phdlife · 31/03/2009 13:57

lol at Bleur's evil plan

gtg, dh home - have to break him the news that (a) there's poo in the bath which I couldn't clean up, and (b) he's got to do the dishes because I was too busy cleaning the other poo's.

Bleuravin · 31/03/2009 13:58

BB seems very promising in the long run Even if it's a bit boring and bothersome. They say walking up the stairs sideways can help 'open the cervix and get contractions going again'

phdlife · 31/03/2009 13:58

oh poor bugger

he hasn't even got to me when he discovers ants have invaded wet nappy in laundry bin
