One of my very best friends works at that Toys R Us. In fact, he was employee of the month there last month

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 14:21

I had forgotten the red and green lights!

LuLuBai · 16/03/2009 14:21

Springy - would love to send DH round to your parents "Hello - my wife met your daughter on an internet chat room. Any chance of a bite to eat?" Hahaha

surprisenumber3 · 16/03/2009 14:22

DH says furry muff for fair enough too

SpringySunshine · 16/03/2009 14:22

Right thats Nias room half painted (the coloured half, white to go) 3 loads of washing done and hung out, children collected and fed. One down for a nap . Chickens sorted, dishwasher loaded cup of coffee made and a ds demanding I play lego Indiana Jones so will you please slow down because I do not have to catch up on it all. Its all a load of bollocks from what I can see so if someone can do me a summary I would be very grateful

surprisenumber3 · 16/03/2009 14:23

my friends daughter goes to that school now.

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 14:23

My Nan and Grandad lived just up the road from Toys r Us, near a park - can't remember what it's called. And my Aunt and Uncle got married at Round's Green Methodist Church. And I can remember always looking out, as a little girl, for the white dome on top of the Savacentre in ??Oldbury.

SpringySunshine · 16/03/2009 14:24

bronze, stop it! Go & sit in the naughty corner with bleu You productive women are putting the rest of us to shame!

LuLu, I don't see the problem with that at all

LuLuBai · 16/03/2009 14:25

Smutty - DD lurrved it. She squealed with excitement the moment she saw where we were going. She went on everything about 600 times. And made her poor old pregnant ma go on a fair few things too.

And still she's not tired.

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 14:25

Bronze - In summary - we're all a load of Yam yams, in need of some hedge trimming!

Yes, that's Oldbury "Savacentre, pick your nose & enter!" as we used to sing. We were so witty. It was the scene of most of my toddler tantrums

surprise, which year?

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 14:28

Smutty, Bleu - you can be honorary yamyams, as Wales is the holiday destination of choice for everyone from the Black Country. Sundays at Barmouth anyone? Plus, there's a Bathams near Betws-y-coed, which makes it home from home for me, as I grew up within spitting distance of the Bathams' Brewery.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 14:28

LuLu - probably over-excited adrenalin, still she will sleep well tonight lol and so will you by the sounds of things

surprisenumber3 · 16/03/2009 14:30

My nan and grandad lived by a park by Toys R Us too (actually my nan still does, she's 95 bless her), on the Birmingham New Road, Tividale Park.

Springy, she is just 13 so...Year 8 I think??

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 14:30

Juw - thanks for the hounor whats a yamyam?

You should be honoured young lady

Yamyams are folk from the Black Country, because we say "Y'am" as in "Yo am" as in "You are". Y'see?

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 14:33

ummmmm y'ep??
