how do you detach this thing????

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 12:16

Egg-laying does seem a far more reasonable way of doing it. Though I know I would forget the egg and wander off without it. Or lose it. Plus, you have to worry about mongoose (mongooses???). Or do they eat snakes? And it would probably put you off your egg-mayo sandwich!

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 12:17

Mine is just fastened on with velcro - rrrrrip - off it comes!!

SpringySunshine · 16/03/2009 12:17

Yeah, I know - but they're so boring. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong. My first boyfriend hated me touching them in any way, so maybe it's transferred from that.

Haha, if my DH is reading now, he'll have some lovely mental images to serve him right...

SpringySunshine · 16/03/2009 12:18

True. But you wouldn't even have to wonder how dilated you were or anything - you could just look at the egg & see if it was beginning to crack. Although BB would probably have booted hers around a bit by now to help it get started

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 12:19

Springy its the underside of the balls /perenium bit you need, i agree though their not the most fun bit of the male anatomy

OP posts:
Juwesm · 16/03/2009 12:20

I find them quite fascinating - living a little wiggly life of their own down there. A bit like watching the bump flumping around (though less wholesome).

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 12:21

Juw - of your velcro!!!

haha so true bb would probably play rugby with it

OP posts:
SpringySunshine · 16/03/2009 12:22

Yeah, the way they move around by themselves is a bit weird. I think it's an evolutionary design purely to excuse the hands-down-pants phenomenon - "I was just rearranging, honestly! "

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 12:23

what i dont get is if blokes get kicked in the balls they're in agony but during nookie its fine for them to be bashing againt your bum etc???

I feel a bit better having sat around catching up with posts.

Boff- Ds running away was darling reminds me of a similar thing with my littlest sister she wanted a toolbox...but she made it to the neighbor's (20ft away) where he plied her with lemonade and cookies until she decided she could come home again. (we -her sisters- sat on the porch and snickered for a long time about it while Mom kept telling us to 'be nice' through the screen door)
And I didn't weave any moses baskets during the weekend as I'm not planning on putting my baby in one and floating him down the Nile (or the little stream in the woods 100yds from the house)...did wash DHs cycling kit- stinky boy- and helped clean out the car properly (used some of my nesting skills to scrub the upholstry so it looks like new.

Frekkles-sorry about Dp troubles, glad things got sorted; Dh and I were talking this weekend about how pg different for men and how it can be rather easy for some men to allow the perception of being incapable to adjust/take care of kids to foster so that they don't have to change as much as women do. I'd say make sure you feel you're getting your fair share out of Dp, but allow that it's going to be difficult for him to really understand until baby comes. Loved the horse race commentary

Nutty- likweise about the horse race commentary, I was laughing like crazy, you and frekkles are great at cheering a girl right up. Happy you're AWOL cat has returned.

Glad about the LOs that were sick are getting better and sorry about those of you -and your LOs- who are not well yet. Tis the weather Im sure. As the ground and air warms things that were stagnant start waking up again and flying about.

Forget what else I was going to say... except I'm so tired lately. I would lay in bed all day long, but the relux hurts and I've got a million things to do so poor Dh can concentrate on work and biking rather than his silly tottering emotional wife....

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 12:25

A bit of ball slap and tickle is okay, full on ball crushing not so good. A bit like bouncy boobs during nookie okay, but squashing them flat for a mammogram less so!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 12:26

ahhhh i see

OP posts:
SpringySunshine · 16/03/2009 12:27

Nutty, that is a very good point. I will ask DH later for his input into the thinktank. We were having a vaguely similar discussion a couple of weeks ago, about how kicking a bloke in the balls is total overkill, because even a relatively light tap is really painful - your point really is a mystery...

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 12:27

Am dangerously close to eating whole bloomer and whole jar of jam.

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 12:29

Maybe it's to do with the element of surprise. But yes, the way they flinch if you accidentally move anywhere near their balls usually does seem strange compared to the amount of attention that can be tolerated in more intimate situations.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 12:30

Juw -get your hands off those jammy bloomers!! dirty girl

Springy - i look forward to your findings though may ask dh too so we can have a better overview, maybe get a ball pain indicator pie chart on the go

OP posts:
Juwesm · 16/03/2009 12:31

Hey Bleu - sorry the reflux is still getting you down. Don't work too hard.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 12:32

maybe the pleaseure in the penis area takes away the feeling in the balls??

OP posts:
Juwesm · 16/03/2009 12:32

Brilliant! I love a good chart! You can explain everything with a graph!!! I think, perhaps (with my very limited grasp of maths) that ball contact vs ball pain/ reaction may be some kind of logarithmic scale.

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 12:33

Takes their 'mind' off other things!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 12:33

Bleu - have you asked the doc for some omeprazole it might help??

OP posts:
SpringySunshine · 16/03/2009 12:35

Bleu, I'm sure your DH doesn't mind looking after you a little bit sometimes...

Nutty, how about we wire them up to pain monitors & look at the trace for during sex / light tap / direct kick. I'm sure frekkles would be up for it at the moment - nookie and an excuse to thwack her DP in the balls. That's at least 3 men to test, straight off

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 12:35

Juw - indeed

OP posts:
SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 12:37

Springy ROFL excellent idea Frekkles you up for that???

Puzzle loves spreadsheets and charts and stuff too so i'm sure she would be up for it.
