Tex I've got to say I thought I felt the baby moving the other day but couldn't be sure, so can't really give you a definitive answer there.
Kings were lovely, take a book as you are bound to have to wait. My appointment was at 3pm and we got seen at 4:20pm which wasn't bad, they say in there leaflet that you can have up to a three hour wait as they see emergency cases first and also give you plenty of time to discuss any issues. Never had to wait that long yet though thankfully. Although my scan next week is at 5:30pm so god knows what time I'll get home.
The lady I saw yesterday was great and tried really hard to get the measurements she needed and even when she gave me an internal it wasn't at all embarrassing and she tried really hard to ease my worries because the baby was fast asleep.
The staff are really nice and if like me you forget your questionnaire then they'll give you another one to fill out. It's also very warm in there so don't wear a thick jumper or anything like that or you'll cook!. You can get hot and cold drinks there, coffee was 50p and cold drinks were a pound, take yourself some nibbles if you think you'll be hungry as you can only get food up on that floor if the snack trolley comes round.
Jubilee is fairly easy to find if you go in through the main entrance, take the bank of lifts up to the third floor, you'll see loads of other pregnant women so just follow them!
Are you driving to Kings? Leave yourself a bit of extra time if you are as spaces in the hospital car park are limited and you have to queue then there are sometimes some spaces by Denmark Hill station or you can park in the pub which is just up the road.
If you are going by Train the hospital can be seen form the exit you can't miss it.
Hope everything goes well tomorrow, let us know won't you
