Oh Springy they are gorgeous. I think the little boleros are great for a winter wedding too.

I love this description "A beautifully flattering maternity dress - perfect for weddings, christenings and 'when you need to feel gorgeous' days."

'need to feel gorgeous days'? What like today? Almost tempted to send off for one to wear round Asda. I'm sure it would make me feel much better.

SpringySunshine · 04/02/2009 12:34

Ooh, thanks Bleu I shall have a good nose of that

By the way, I'm not just ignoring the sling conversation, but I have absolutely nothing to contribute due to my ignorance The same goes for the sex parties

SpringySunshine · 04/02/2009 12:36

LuLu, that made me laugh as well - imagine swishing around dressed like that, with your DD tugging at your skirt with her sticky hands as you try to do mundane chores

LuLuBai · 04/02/2009 12:36

Just had a look at the bridesmaid dresses too. The 'Clementine' floral one with the red sash is lovely!!!!

PuzzleRocks · 04/02/2009 12:38

BB - I can't seem to write on your wall?? Your wedding pics are beautiful, where was the venue?

BabyBolat · 04/02/2009 12:42

Oh - I love the Jasmine and Athena dresses Springy

Frekkles honestly I put some security setting on it about a month ago and I CANT GET IT OFF!!!

We got married here - have always wanted to get married there so was really easy for us to plan everything! Thanks - funny, I haven't looked at them for ages and now just had a scoot through remembering everything!

Slings - I have the close baby sling which I LOVE! so comfy and tried and tested with babies and really comfy!

SpringySunshine · 04/02/2009 12:43

Ohhh, I want all of the dresses.

Also, this is me on Facebook - any of you can add me if you like

LuLuBai · 04/02/2009 12:43

He he he - DD has just consumed her own body weight in marmite and everything I look at is covered in little brown fingerprints.

I did buy myself an innapropriate day dress last summer - a gorgeous halterneck 50s number. I skipped around the park with DD while wearing it, and did the supermarket shop imagining I was a perfect Stepford wife, pretending that my life wasn't really utterly chaotic. But that dress is cotton and machine washable.... and my life really is rather chaotic.

conkertree · 04/02/2009 12:47

lulu - lol that you are scared to go to a sling meet, but you only turn down the swingers club cause of lack of something to wear . i am going to go once, try on some slings, hopefully buy something and probably then disappear. Since I will be taking ds in his buggy - I dont think I will be accepted as a valued member of their crowd.

part of me thinks that if you had no responsibilities, no dp/dh, no chance of catching anything or ending up pg, things like that could be fun, but reality is that life is very rarely like that, so have never really seriously considered trying anything like that. my pink rabbit is enough for me .

ooh springy - those dresses are gorgeous. totally with you lulu - if i had a spare £400 I'd be buying one just to feel pretty while building a railway line with ds.

PuzzleRocks · 04/02/2009 12:52

Springy - have added you.

conkertree · 04/02/2009 12:53

bb- that place looks absolutely gorgeous - you are the epitomy of the kind of lifestyle I look at people in magazines having and feeling extremely just a slight hint of about. But at the same time, I see your posts on your job and how stressful it is, and I know I wouldnt be great at doing something that high flying, so am happy with my little lot, but would love to have some of the style and glamour that a lot of you ladies seem to exude.

SpringySunshine · 04/02/2009 12:54

Those are my favourite as well, BB.

I also like this dress. I'm still not sure how traditional I want to be. The proper ones are so beautiful, but might seem a bit strange. I wonder how impossible it'd be to get them dyed

The Tithe Barn looks amazing - it makes me rather

conkertree · 04/02/2009 12:56

my wedding was here - church at the top and the town hall second www.tourofkeith.co.uk/page3.htm

was a great day - all our friends and family etc but locations were not exactly picked for their glamour. would have so loved to start from scratch, but was the simple, practical option in my home town.

SpringySunshine · 04/02/2009 12:59

I love the sort of dresses that make you feel like your whole life is so much more glamorous than it is. It's like magic.

Puzzle, your DD is beautiful! You obviously have very good genes - can't wait to see the new babies we're all going to produce

conker, it's just sickening, isn't it? It shouldn't be legal to be so gorgeous & apparently effortlessly stylish. It puts the rest of us to shame.

conkertree · 04/02/2009 13:01

thats beautiful too springy.

If it was me, I would decide based on the fact that I always wanted to wear a white dress on my wedding day, and have the classic bride sort of look. Not everyone wants that even if they are not pg on their wedding day, so really only you will know if you'd regret not wearing white.

As somebody said - so few people are actually entitled to wear white on their wedding day, i wouldnt let being pg put you off if you want to have that white dress day - its not really worn for that reason these days I'd say - more just to set you apart as the bride. But other colours can be lovely - I even saw a bride recently in black with a white ribbon which was unusual, but still nice.

Hello all,

Been to hospital for physio today with the head of the muscular skeletal team and a bit achey now, but cheerful because he has given me some better exercises to try.

Springy You would think a dildo would be the first thing someone would pack when moving out of halls, but obviously not in this case ...

Swaliswan Happy birthday!! And to Nutty too!! Seriously gorgeous wedding dress, Nutty. BTW Nutty, the physio said tackling the pain cycle is crucial in getting to grips with the SPD, and I have heard this from lots of people now, so I hope you manage to find a way.

PuzzleRocks · 04/02/2009 13:19

i'm here

BabyBolat · 04/02/2009 13:20

I don't know what you are talking about, I was a virgin when I walked down the aisle - had never even kissed a boy!!! Do you believe me????

Springy no one who matters gives a damn about what colour you wear, whatever makes you happy is all that matters as it's YOUR DAY!!!

Nutty your poor family falling apart!! Hope DH is not going to distract you from your MN posting duties!

LOL conker 'high flying', really SO not my life! Must be very good at PR if I can make myself appear even slightly stylish - I look at my friends and feel very very drab!!! (particularly at the moment!)

mmmm marmite. Yum!
