Ginger, the GP and MW are talking dangerous bollox. Early diagnosis and care of SPD is crucial to a good and timely recovery IMO.
Barbarella, you're back!! YAY!!
How are you feeling? Up and down, good today because I have DH at home and a new glidey nursing chair and footstool that are just fab, also freshly delivered brand new wheelchair and lots of NHS attention and drugs after a recent hospital stay.
How are things at home? A bit better now the NHS is doing its bit.
Which pregnancy-related things are you
a) enjoying? Imagining bf new baby in lovely glidey nursing chair; eating lots of food; quite like BH because with me they feel like slightly erotic power surges. Nails and hair seem to be doing quite well.
b)getting pissed off with? That has to be the SPD really. I did a BBC quiz last night about my mood and it suggested I contact the Samaritans!! But I am happier today with all the attention from DH and so on.
What is the
a) funniest thing that's happened to you recently? Has to be Clairey's post about the woman pinning the doctor to the wall with her fanjo. I am still laughing my head off.
b) most annoying thing? TENS pads wrinkling up and giving me electric shocks. Patientline telly packing up while I was in hospital leaving me without TimeTeam at 4.30am. NHS food being too carb loaded for my liking.
Do you feel organised/ready for the baby?
Stuffed all equipment in a messy way into the nursery in an SPD-induced tantrum, but happier now so considering retrieving crib and trying to fix it a bit.
Bummer about intensive care cots, but I have heard of this happening. How do you organise bf if they are in different hospitals??
