LOL That message is so going to end up in the MN book swaliswan!

Nutty, is your DH still looking after you?

Tis so quiet today, hope springy isn't too poorly sick!

Oooooooooooooooo, I'll have a cup of tea if you're offering, Nutty.

DH is in a bad mood because I sent him to do the Tesco shop for the first time in a month tonight. It seems that he was trying to do it just badly enough to look like he had really tried but wouldn't be asked to do it again anytime soon. I think that he needs more practice I do pity him a little as it must be hard trying to please a pregnant woman, but, I couldn't have given him clearer instructions between the extra-detailed list and verbal instructions. He's stormed off to bed.

Oh dear Swaliswan - Please please go up to him and tell him that as he did such a bad job, you would like him to do it every week to get some practice in! LOL so funny!

Ah bless his little cotton socks!! What are you more excited about the sofa or the baby?

OP posts:
BabyBolat · 29/01/2009 22:09

I NEVER send DH shopping because he spends a FORTUNE and comes back with nothing! At the most he gets to pop in the supermarket on the way home and get specific bits for dinner but that is it!

It would be hilarious if he wasn't in a foul mood. I think that he expects me to apologise. I'm not sure that I feel like apologising for pointing out how stupid it was that he didn't just buy the Tesco version of the (sainsburys) oven chips that we currently have as well as other silly things. I haven't even tried asking him yet if he knows what the difference is between shepherds pie and cottage pie for fear of having divorce papers shoved in my face! Ah well, at least he had put the fresh sheets on the bed before laying on top of the duvet to have a sulk. I haven't seen what he has done with the other laundry that was sat there waiting for me to put it away yet. And if he thinks that he is going to sleep on top of the duvet tonight so that I only get about 6 inches of duvet to cover my ever-expanding bump with, he is very much mistaken!

Ooooooooooo, he did buy me some croissants for breakfast though. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I nearly killed our (at the time brand new) sofa when I was pg with DD. DH says that we can't have a replacement until I'm not pg anymore. I'm not allowed to sit on the other sofa that we have in case I kill that one too!

I would just like to wipe out february completely then we can start having babies - Barbarella can start us off, then Oddeyes and then while I am waiting for this one to come out (I know it will be late) all you second/third/fourth timers can pop yours out!

OP posts:
BabyBolat · 29/01/2009 22:17

Yeah thank him for the croissant and try and avoid saying things like, 'at least you managed to do one thing right!'

He's earnt lots of brownie points for going at all and doing a fairly decent job and then lots more points for getting me croissants to go with my fresh orange. I just hate the way that he has done things like buy his favourite pizza that is too spicy for me and way too spicy for DD to share. Why did he have to do that?! I specifically told him to not buy bottles of coke as we have loads of cans of it in, but he bought some anyway because Irn Bru wasn't on offer I don't even know why I bothered telling him that certain items were on offer and to buy those particular items as he went and bought the same brand of item but an expensive version that wasn't on offer and we would never buy! I even marked said items on the list. He claims not to have seen the offer item (so buy the Tesco version!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
