anyone fancy a riddle??

Our babymoon this weekend is a surprise - but DH is dropping major hints, I'm just too preggie-brained to work them out! So far we have -

We have to be there by 20h00 so will leave at 18h30
The colour purple is involved
There may be a boat
I'll be reacquainted with Peppermint
He needs my passport tonight so he doesn't forget it tomorrow
I need to pack for 3 nights and take walking shoes

?????
Help please! We're in Surrey, as you know, so there are TONS of possibilities here... this is FUN...

Thanks Lulu.

I had my 28 week appointment with my replacement midwife today and she was fab. I actually met her at my booking in as she was covering for the horrid ex midwife who was late.
Everything is tickety boo and she didn't seem worred about the migraines. After a good long chat she is happy for me to have a homebirth so i'm really excited now. I think I shall order my birthing ball tonight and start the OFP.
Oh and there was a student midwife present who checked and measured my bump and remarked on what great stomach muscles I have. I could have snogged her for that.

PuzzleRocks · 28/01/2009 19:09

Kitty - No idea but I bet it will be amazing, you lucky lucky lady.

BoffinMum · 28/01/2009 19:19

KittyCat, he's taking you to Beirut, definitely. Or Orkney.

Lulu - Felix David

BoffinMum · 28/01/2009 19:21

Puzzle, doesn't it make a difference when people are nice and friendly at appointments?

brettgirl2 · 28/01/2009 19:21

Kitty how fabulously romantic (I have no idea about the 'clues' but I am so jealous)

Kitty I have no idea but am rubbish at riddles!!! I want to say France or Ireland but have no idea why!!! Unless he is taking your passport to keep you off the scent!!

LuLu, Names are a nightmare for us, think we have decided on Alara for a girl but we are physically fighting about boys names! (Seriously it always results in me hitting him in a jokey frustrated fashion!!!)

Boffin I love the name Felix
Puzzle yay for the midwife! and love holly too x

There's a Purple Hotel in Tower Wharf, London...

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 28/01/2009 20:04

Asked for another clue - he started singing

"You'll need the... Bear Necessities, the simple Bear Necessities..."

from the Jungle Book... that's SOOOO not helpful...

Could be "Bare" necessities - any nudist colonies near Brighton???

It can't be flying as most airlines would require a letter from your doctor at this point saying they are happy for you to fly (think the standard for most airlines is 25 weeks+ now) so it has to be either in the UK or a boat trip away!

BabyBolat · 28/01/2009 20:10

hence my France / Ireland possibilities!

Ireland there is a lot of walking that can be done - where were the peppermint sweets from???

OP posts:
BabyBolat · 28/01/2009 20:12

It's ireland! peppermint creams, boats and walking - really it's 100% ireland!!!

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 28/01/2009 20:12

Dh says we've not considered the trains... it could be Eurostar to Calais or something like that! Does anywhere in France specialise in peppermint liqueur? Maybe a purple coloured one?

This could also be a red herring... he's sooooo sneaky sometimes... i love that man!
