Nutty, we know you're just finding excuses to handcuff yourself to a sexy man in scrubs, don't think you're fooling anyone

BabyBolat · 16/01/2009 22:49

ha ha!! I would really like to I just don't know when I have the time, (which I know is stupid because I should make time)! My LO will def be a talker!

BabyBolat · 16/01/2009 22:51

Springy you know nutty so well....

Yes but don't get too excited it's pebbles, although I am only 30 minutes away from the lovely sand of sandbanks too!!!

You say it's pebbles like that makes it boring - I've only ever lived in Birmingham & now Sheffield. I couldn't possibly live in two places further from a beach!

BabyBolat · 16/01/2009 22:54

Oh no I have plenty of time to visit you girls but not to go to NCT classes!!!

Not boring just not as comfy to lay and relax on! pebbles don't quite mould to your body shape like sand does!!!

SpringySunshine · 16/01/2009 22:56

Haha, yes, I forgot! There is a patch of grubby sand in the middle of Birmingham in the summer, I stand corrected

I think the way I've been eating for the last few months that my body will mould to the pebbles, never mind the other way around

Good point springy not sure I can cope with the visual of my post-pregnancy body for all to see in sand... Pebbles it is!!!!

SpringySunshine · 16/01/2009 23:06

DP's really sad that I'm not going to have huge pregnancy boobs forever - & even said that my boobs used to be 'small' before, which they weren't! I mean they weren't huge, but they weren't small. He's so tactless sometimes & it makes me worry that he's not going to fancy me afterwards.

BabyBolat · 16/01/2009 23:07

Ok girls I am beaten - have to sleep (DH is also complaining!)

Speak to you tomorrow - please come and say hello to distract me from my work!!!

Na night xxx

I have to say, 215 messages in less than half a day is pretty impressive - at this rate the thread will last 2 days!!!!!

Springy, of course he will, and i am sure he will love your old small(er) boobs as they wont be leaking milk or being sucked on by a small child!

Night night you two. Lightweights

Speak to you tomorrow, I'm sure xx

frostyfrekkles · 16/01/2009 23:25

miss bolat, i have the same thoughts... "oooh you're just about to fall to sleep are you?... let me poke you in the belly.."

springy, if you're anyway near as funny, charming and lovely in real life as you are here then your nct group will be loving you from the get go.

night night xx

SpringySunshine · 17/01/2009 00:05

frekkles, you're too kind xx

My bump's the same - he's always causing a fuss in there, but as soon as I try to sleep... It's the pregnancy equivalent of him stomping around banging pan lids together

PuzzleRocks · 17/01/2009 00:40

Right, time to catch up. I fell asleep with DD and didn't wake up until 11.

Schulte - DD is great at entertaining herself. I work from home and look after her full time so she is used to me being on the pc and playing beside to me. Our living room triples as an office and a playground.

Mathsmummy - does he have any tattoos? I'm a sucker for tattoos.

BB - I feel for you. I hope you are feeling better now? You need to slow down and get tough with the buggers. I could never manage people, I would be a total dragon.

Welcome MumbleMum - always glad to meet a newbie.

Swaliswan - Your DD sounds sweet. DD freaked out at a whole chicken the other day. She was the same with the Christmas turkey.

Re getting stuck: When I was pregnant with DD I tried to walk between two cars in a busy stret. Fine until I got to the wing mirrors and there was no way I was getting through, nor was I able to turn around. So I had to back up like a fat moonwalker.

Bloody hell Springy, just read your library post. People can be such rude. I agree with what Schulte said.
And the woman on the train was probably just jealous of your youth, old busybody. It makes you wonder what lacking in their lives to make them so bloody bitter.

SpringySunshine · 17/01/2009 01:27

Oh gosh, 'fat moonwalker' made me nearly choke laughing. Such an accurate description of what's becoming part of my every day life

My DP has tattoos on his arms. I didn't like them at all at first, but now I really do - they make them his arms. His lovely, lovely arms

& yeah, the library thing was really crap. There were literally hundreds of them. It was so stupid. I'm over it now & will be expecting it next time, but it definitely caught me off guard. Idiots.

& yes, I hope that I'm not that mean & bitchy when I'm older. It will be a sad sign of my general failure.
