Wow Boffin you really ARE Wonderwoman! I'm definitely adding you to my list of interesting people, alive or dead, to have over for dinner...

FYI - you'll be in good company... This is who I have so far!

Nelson Mandela - have actually met him twice before when living in Johannesburg, amazing man!

Princess Di - she's just so lovely in every way

Barack Obama - I'd love to hear what he plans to do with the world economies and the Middle East

My great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather who was one of the original French Hugenots to land in RSA - what a story he must have to tell!

Sting - I'm hoping he'll write a song for me!

Heston Blumenthal - maybe he should do the catering

Hugh Jackman - for some rugged Aussie eye-candy

and DH of course!!

Bleuravin · 16/01/2009 19:20

Boffin- what exactly haven't you done?

Is anyone's baby seeming to tremble in the womb? Not regular movement like tumbles or jabs...trembles, tiny jumpy movements... with the regular pokes and prods...

Evening everyone! Actually have both my toddlers asleep before 7:15pm! My 3yo hasn't been very good at falling asleep quickly, and often still awake at nearly 9pm...so it's a big relief to have a quiet house right now! Better get off computer tho and do dishes & tidying up!

PuzzleRocks · 16/01/2009 19:39

Noooooooooooo! Right that's it, you've thrown down the gauntlet now. This thread is mine. Mine I tell you!!!!!!!!!

OMG A striped suit and loafers on a child. Cringe.

Springy - I went to a well known grammar school and there was a girl in my tutor grop whose parents would always promise her a kitten if she got such and such in her end of year exams. She never did and was distraught each year that she wasn't getting her pet. Awful.

@ designer baby.

Rachel - sod the dishes, put your feet up and enjoy the peace.

on a different thread I found someone suggesting the trembling could be the baby getting stuck on a rib or with the umbilical cord and trying to shake themselves free... does that sound reasonable? I've been getting it a lot lately... It is kinda under the right rib area often... hmmm

Bleuravin · 16/01/2009 19:45

I agre rachel feet up!

Nutty - you have a deal

Springy - DD is hilarious. Unfortunately that means it is almost impossible to tell her off for anything without falling about laughing and totally undermining my own authority. I love having a scamp.

Good evening from me too... DD is also asleep.... my favourite moment of the day. She's been getting up at 6am lately so I must make the most of my short nights but then what am I complaining about? Soon I'll be up at 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am...

BoffinMum you amaze me. You've probably also been Miss World in a previous life and speak 5 languages!? I wish I had that many talents!

So I know it's Friday night but where on earth is DH? I haven't given him a pass to go to the pub tonight and he should be in the kitchen making steak sandwiches! Baby is starting to get hungry!

PuzzleRocks · 16/01/2009 19:50

Kitty - I'm sure Boffin would prefer to be alive when she comes over.
Can we all come too?

mathsmummy27 · 16/01/2009 19:55

Schulte · 16/01/2009 19:57
