I've not actually had any proper heartburn yet - only reflux, which I've managed to solve with yoghurts after much experimentation. I'm hoping to avoid it for as long as possible... You're ahead of me though, so I'm probably doomed anyway

I don't have any gaviscon and I can't send DH out again! will pick some up tomorrow... grrrr.

Springy this is my first real experience of it to be fair have had it quite mildly but am thumping my chest like tarzan at the moment!!!

I have lazy chocolate fondue - Dairy Milk microwaved on a plate & bananas to dip in it. Mmm. So simple & so yummy.

eeuurrrgggh LO is not a fan of bananas!!! but melted dairy milk!!

Ice cream helps everything. You're so close to having your baby now! I'm so excited for you It's only 12 weeks today until my due date & you're much closer than that

Bananas are pretty much the only fruit that LO will tolerate. But they can't be overripe - I'm not making sacrifices like that for anyone.

DP is judging me for licking the plate clean

Well yes in theory just 10 weeks to go! Countdown really starts on Monday! [grin[ but I just know I will go over (and believe me you will not be seeing a happy BB on MN post 30 March!) Will find it so weird in 8 or 9 weeks when I am days away from the baby coming - will seem so weird thinking it has been 40 weeeks!!!!

DH has just gone to raid the ice cream shelf in the freezer... oh he has his uses!!!

I'm fully expecting to go over too. DP keeps going on about how he'll be early because he's so big & I just want to punch him. I wish he'd come at 38 or 39 weeks, but he just won't. I'll be being induced at 42, I know it

The ice cream is helping although DH seems to be eating a bit too much of it (I don't see him suffering from pregnancy related pains!!!)

I know it is close but it still doesn't feel real!

Oh Springy I will be sat in my MW office at 40 weeks and 5 days begging for an induction! We are only allowed to go over by 11 days but still that is too long!!
