Moose, it sounds like it's not far off for you! I'm always checking for a show

The midwife gave me a sweep last Thursday, she said was quite aggressive too so that i had a really good chance but it hasn't worked

It feels like the baby is pinching my bladder, so painful. There is no room in there, the baby needs to come out!

don't have time to read, just popping in to say hi, will catch up later.

Afraid STILL no labour here! Consultant this morning happy with CTG, but booked for Scan tomo to check baby growth etc. Had massage and pedicure, LOVELY!!!

Off to watch OH... match on TV tonight so don't have to brave cold!! xx

Am currently sat on birth ball, having low abdo pains every 8 minutes and got horrible lower back pain and er ... rear pressure.

Am feeling a bit more hopeful - DH is saying he feels like he should start running around panicking!

If this is it I don't know at what point I should call Mum to fetch the boys (put them to bed half and hour ago) - she runs a self development group at her house till 10.30 on Mondays. DS1 is being really naughty tonight perhaps I should've sent him back home with her earlier regardless!

I'm completely knackered, DD didn't sleep this afternoon and seemed to spend the day being in the wars! I have felt strangely calm and serene for the last day or so, so maybe this is the calm before the storm.

I'm impressed that people are on MN all through the night - I must remember that for when my time comes as it's no fun being up all night on your own. Hope those posting in the wee hours are getting some sleep, somehow.

Moose - I had a show with DS and was in labour next day. Fingers crossed for you and others who seem quite immeninent.

Tree - just wanted to say it's really great having someone so knowledgable on our thread - thanks! Sorry that you can't perform so well on yourself, as it were

Thanks LooseyC! I still really worry that people will want to bite their tounge though if their health team pisses them off!

Do all feel free to flame! Am always happy to try shed light on the often random acts of health professionals. Have learnt loads off mumsnet - but mainly that communication is everything, and the NHS is pants at it! I'm a better midwife for being on this forum.
