Hi there.. Just thought I would let you know that I have miscarried.. Pretty gutting to have got to 11+5 weeks but I guess it just wasn't meant to be.. Lot's of love and baby dust to the rest of you and Merry Christmas too!

ermintrude13 · 13/12/2008 14:36

Oh Tinker3, we were wondering where you'd got to. So sorry to hear your sad news. Hope you have some time now to rest and recover. Lots of us have been there and there are some good, understanding threads on mn if you want to talk about it. Take care of yourself. xx

Tee2072 · 13/12/2008 15:57

I'm sorry tinker. Lots of hugs to you and take good care. xx

llynnnn · 13/12/2008 16:13

Oh Tinker, I'm so sorry to hear your news, look after yourself.

daisy5 · 13/12/2008 19:04

OH tinker, I went through this too at 11+3. It was so hard to be so close to feeling 'safe' about the pregnancy and then to loose it. I found so much support on the miscarriage site at a time when I was utterly devastated. Be ever so kind to yourself.

Sadly I know many people who've been through this, but happily all of them have since had babies or got pregnant. Not much consolation now, I know.

Lots of BIG HUGS to you.

helpivegottogivebirth · 13/12/2008 20:01

so sorry to hear tinker. keep well

flynn1984 · 13/12/2008 23:09

Love Laura x

snowwombat · 14/12/2008 11:51

tink just so sorry to hear of the loss of your little one . Been there too and there is nothing I can say to help. Make sure you take plenty of time for you and your DP. Thinking of you. The miscarriage threads on MN are a great support when you are ready.

Mhairi100 · 14/12/2008 13:15

So sorry Tink, hugs

dreamydowler · 14/12/2008 13:41

So sorry Tink to hear of your sad loss I know from having two mcs myself how hard this time will be for you. Make sure you do whatever feels right for you and take some time out to let your body recover

MrsMcClaus · 14/12/2008 20:58

Oh Tinker I am so sorry. I have been where you are now and you need to do whatever you can to help yourself recover physically and mentally. MN was my lifeline during that awful time xx

for those of you who were looking for non-alocholic drinks I just saw a page with loads of them on:
www.drinksmixer.com/cat/8/
(Haven't tried any yet).
I'm thinking of making some and having it in a big bowl with a laddle. (need to find a cheap bowl, anyone got a second hand fish tank ;)

spongecake Hope your move is going well, when are you actually leaving?

Tee2072, good luck with your scan tomorrow.

We went for a scan with Babybond yesterday and got a recording of it (moving a LOT), it's truly amazing, now I feel like like I have bonded with the baby in a way.
We heard the heartbeat too which was breathtaking and got a few pictures. She even switched it to 3D (4D?) for a little while. (I think they do that a lot so you get a taste of it and book it with them...)
It ended up being £120 for the whole thing which was quite extravagant but it's my bday this week and I didn't want anything else but see the baby again, "properly" this time.

SweetBROODY · 15/12/2008 11:56

June that sounds amazing... I'd love to do one of those just waiting for the 25 week period before we do...

Although I must admit I am so impatient a tthe moment to see whats happening.. I think because it just doesnt feel real...

Tee I have my scan tommorow as well.. the dreaded heard scan for baby :S quite worried really...

SweetBROODY · 15/12/2008 12:00

Where is babybond based?

How long did you get for viewing time?

I'm back at the moment - dad had a emergancy Triple Bypass - which thankfully went well.. This was followed with post op complications so I have been seriously stressed out - and now the MIL is really annoying me

She's booked a holiday for around my due date and pretended like she had booked it ages ago.. Why offer to help if thats what she wanted to do Its ok though...

I still havent put on any significant amount of weight I am 16+3 but still below my pre-pregnancy weight.. ITs so exciting catching upw ith everyones good news.. I cant wait to find out what baby is going to be.. hopefully everythings ok tommorow and they can tell me on my 20 week scan booked for 9th Jan...

Sorry for a logish "me" post but I have been gone a long time..

ITs good to see you ladies are doing well.. I am defo gonna try and keep in touch now..

My Line manager at work has really peedd me off as well - I think she told HR I am pregnant although I didnt want to say anything until my 25 week time it means its gonna be hard to find another job within my office... (We have to change jobs every couple of years)

Oh! Life is soooo annoying.. I seem to have an appettite this week but - its followed with really bad Heart burn - so just feels rubbish trying to eat...

loooouise · 15/12/2008 14:17

Just wanted to say how deeply sorry i am to Tinker. It's very sad news indeed. I wish you safe healing and hope you have cause to smile again soon.

chocciedooby · 15/12/2008 14:30

Sweetbrody sorry to hear you are having a rough time of it. Glad your dads op went ok.
I can understand how you feel about your MIL booking her holiday around your due date. My mum and dad went away for 6 weeks when DS2 was due. He was born on due date and we managed but it would have been nice to have some help and for them to see DS before he was 2 months old. I don't live in UK as the parents do but I was still disappointed at the time.
june2009 your scan sounds amazing.I had a nuchal scan that cost me e250. It served its purpose very well but I would have loved to have seen baby a bit more graphically.
I'm still struggling with a head cold this week.ARRRGGGHH

flynn1984 · 15/12/2008 15:19

Hiya everyone!

So glad everyones sans are going well!

I'll catch up with the other posts soon. Just wanted to ask has anyone else been suffering from really bad migraines recently? I've had one now for 3 days and can't seem to shift it. Also been feeling really low at the moment, anyone got experience of ante natal depression, i dont think I'm that bad but worried incase I do get bad, think with hormones all over the place and uncertain job future for me it's all starting to affect me and i'm usualy such a positive person

sorry for the 'me' post
